Hanging By A Moment

Samantha's POV:
'Is Harry gonna come here?' Allanah asked as we watched TV in the lounge. 'Ummm, sweetie, Harry's gonna we away for a while' I tried not to tear up in front of my sister. 'Why, did you have a fight?' she turned to look at me. 'No, sweetie. Harry and I are alright' I forced a smile out. 'Allanah, your breakfast is ready' Mum called out from the kitchen and Allanah ran off. I got up from the couch and walked out to the backyard with arms folded. Sunny LA, I closed my eyes and basked under the beaming sun. I felt my skin warmed up as the light hit my skin.

'Sammie' I opened my eyes, when someone called my name. I turned around and Mum and Dad were there. 'You guys don't have to stay' I walked slowly towards them. 'It's okay, will leave tomorrow' Mum flashed a small smile. 'Thank you Mum, Dad' I smiled at them. 'We're sorry though we couldn't buy back your old house' Dad spoke. 'Dad, It's okay, this house is incredible. And maybe a new house is a good thing. New environment, new beginning, starting fresh' I smiled trying to keep strong.

'Do you think I made the right decision?' I asked them. 'About keeping the baby? Yes' Mum flashed a smile. 'But...' she added.

'Leaving Harry.... I'm not so sure sweetie' Mum spoke carefully.I looked down at my left hand where the ring used to be on. 'Today's supposed to be our wedding day' a tear fell out from my right eye and I wiped it off. 'I was supposed to be the happiest bride walking down the aisle' I looked up to keep the tears from falling. 'Today was supposed to be the beginning of forever with Harry' my voice cracked as my eyes could no longer keep back the tears from falling.

'Supposed to be' I cried softly.

Harry's POV:
I stared at the ring and fiddled with it. 'This ring belongs to her' I mumbled to myself. I took a deep breath and rubbed my thumb on the emblem.

I closed my eyes in annoyance when I heard someone knock on the door. 'Don't come in' I groaned. But still they insisted. 'I said don-'I was surprised by who the visitor.

'Mum?' I creased my eyebrows surprised by her presence. She flashed me a lip smile as she walked towards the bed. 'Are you okay?' she sat next to me. 'I... pushed her away' I bowed my head down and continued to fiddle with the ring. 'It musn't have been an easy decision for her to leave' she rubbed my shoulder.

'Today was supposed to be our wedding day' I kept my eyes fixed on the ring. 'I was supposed to be married to the most amazing girl and spend the rest of our lives together' I continued to fiddle with the ring.

'Mum, do you think I made the wrong decision?' I asked.

'If your asking about keeping the baby, then I don't think you did' she replied. 'I know your still young and your not ready for that, I understand honey' she continued.

'....But about asking Sammie to get an abortion, I think that was wrong' she muttered.

'Infinity ' I held up the ring and met Mum's gaze. 'I thought our love would be endless' I muttered.
