You Only Find Love Once

Niall's POV

I've been awake since seven this morning, just like every other morning this week. It's been a week since the accident and nothing good has come up. The police are still looking for Barbara and we haven't had no good news. They have been checking CCTV in the area, airports to see if she has left the country and toll bridges around the country to check if she has driven anyway. But no luck at all. In the week, everyone went back to London, except me, Louis and Eleanor who wanted to stay. Eleanor and Louis have been listing her every day, unlike me. I haven't been visiting her just for the pure fact that i didn't want my heart being broken, every time i saw her in that coma, it really did feel like someone just stabbed me in the heart. They both have been giving me updates on her and what the doctors have been saying, they've said that she should be awake by now but she hasn't so she could wake up any day now. It's just a case of waiting. I have been on my own for most of the week, obviously not when Lou and El came and updated me on what's been going on. It's been the worst week of my life to be honest. Nothing but misery. I've been constantly irritated by management, telling me to come back to London for rehearsals and the shooting of You and I but i have refused to go back. I don't want to go back without her, she is so far away if i do, and she has to keep in the hospital until she wake up. Unfortunately, i will have to leave at some stage for the Where We Are that is coming up. That reminds me of the fans. The fans have been supportive of what's happened after they fount out by Twitter or the internet, nothing is private for us. But it's been nice getting support from the fans, except some. The usually haters, most likely the younger and immature ones that have been sending negative things. But me and Michaela's family are getting support form everyone really, the boys, their families, close friends, even Simon got really supportive. But even with help form everyone it isn't enough more me to leave my room.
The only person i really wanted to talk to is my Sunshine, my world, my mickey.
I rolled over in my bed and saw my phone lighting up. I looked at it and there was messages and missed calls from a load of people. I quickly looked at the texts and replied to the important ones. Then looking at the missed calls i had three from the hospital.
Oh no. Is it good or bad.
I quickly rang back hoping they would pick up.
"Hello" a woman spoke.
"Hello, I've received three missed calls form you, is anything wrong ?"
"What's your name ?"
"Niall Horan"
"Ah yes, i will pass you over to one of the doctors, hold on one moment please"
I was put on hold. I feel sick right now thinking if it was good news or bad news. I want to find out now. While on hold i quickly put on a t-shirt and jeans then picked the phone up again to check. Still nobody. I'm getting ready just in case if it's good news.
"Hello?" someone spoke.
"Hello"
"Is this Mr Horan?"
"Yes" I answered.
"Ah good, we have good news and some bad news for your friend, Miss Lee, i think you should come down to the hospital as soon as possible" the man spoke.
"Okay thank you" i said and put the phone down. I quickly put some socks and trainers to finish what i was wearing to go to the hospital.
I picked up my phone and keys rushing out the door. Running out the hotel, i remembered that Louis and Eleanor should come too, as they did stay with me. I ran back to their room and banged hard on their door. Louis answered after a couple seconds of me standing of me banging.
"Mate what is it?" he asked
"Hospital rang, said they had good and bad news and we need to go now"
"Okay give us a minute and we will be ready" he said rushing away from the door to leave to let myself in.
I heard Louis a bit loudly explaining and telling Eleanor what's going on.
They both stumbled out the bedroom in a rush. We all ran down to the car park outside the hotel and got into our cars, I drove like a madman to the hospital not caring about speed camera's, but i was still being safe not to crash into anyone obviously. Don't need another car accident. Well Michaela's wasn't a accident. Just thinking about Barbara got me pissed. I clenched hard to the steering wheel getting more angry but still focused on the road.
I calmed down once we arrived at the hospital though.
Me, Louis and Eleanor rushed to Michaela's room. I saw a doctor just leave her room and ran even faster.
"Doctor" i shouted to get his attention. We finally got to him before he walked away from the room.
"Mr Horan you arrived, good. So are you ready for the news?"
"Yes, please tell me"
"Well the good news is that Miss Lee is finally awake and well, of course leaving her broken leg and rib but she is healthy"
Yes, she's awake and well, I don't think I've ever been so happy. I didn't let it out obviously for respect of the other patients in the hospital.
"But then there is the bad news" he looked down.
Oh no. I know this is going to be bad i can feel it in my stomach. Eleanor gasped in the background.
"We have concluded that Miss Lee has lost seven years of her memory but in time it will come back, maybe bot every little detail but approximately it could take up to eight months for it all to come back, if we're lucky seven"
That's it. I broke down in tears once again. I fell to the floor like a baby and just started to cry.
Just thinking about what she won't remember.

It's been half an hour since the doctors told us the news.
I have finally stopped crying but still want to. Louis contacted the boys and management the news. I asked Eleanor to ring my parents when i was ringing Michaela's parents.
I told them the news and they said that they still can't get a flight over due to the bad weather. I needed sometime to myself before going in a seeing her. Just thinking of what she won't remember, but they did say it would come back, most of it, i just hope she remembers the good parts of her life. I hope she don't forget our prom kiss.
I took a long breath before going back into the hospital. I slowly walked to her room getting butterflies.
"You ready to go in Niall?" Louis asked getting up from his seat.
"Yeah, i just need to prepare myself"
"Well the doctors have covered the ground work for you" he smiled.
"What do you mean?" i asked in complete confusion.
"Well they just told her age, the date and what has happened that's all" he explained.
"Okay see ya soon mate" and with that i walked in to her room.
"Hello, who are you?" that really felt like someone just punched me in the gut.
"Well I'm your best friend"
"Wait, Niall, is that you?"
"Yeah" i smiled.
"Well i know from the doctors i lost my memory and i can only remember what you look like when you was a teenager"
"So tell me what you remember"
"I can only really remember stuff from when i was a teenager, i don't really remember on from that"
"Well you have a lot coming to you" I chuckled sitting down on her bed.
"Why?"
"I'm in a boy band that is known all over the world by millions"
Her jaw dropped when i said the last bit which made me chuckled at her cuteness.
"Wow, didn't expect that"
"So do you remember me when we was little?"
"Yes, and i know this is going to be hard for you, my best friend, as i can't remember the last seven years of my life"
"But can you promise me something?"
"Yeah"
"Promise me you won't get scared of what's going to happen because I'm going to be here for you all the way?"
"I promise"

I am so so so sorry for the late update. I feel horrible for not. But my sister had her baby. Now i have another niece. My family is too big.
But I'm sorry again for the late update.
I really think that the end of this chapter is bad because I'm not really educated on that type of stuff. So I'm sorry if you think it's shit.
