Through The Dark(Niall Horan)
You're My Princess.
It's been a few weeks since Teagan was in the hospital. The restraining order against me was lifted(obviously) and I was able to take her home with me. I decided to rent a house a little outside of London to get her away from everything. Simon and management had decided to postpone the rest of the tour so I could be with her to help her get better.
I wish I could say she was, but she wasn't. She laid in bed most of the time, not sleeping. She'd eat something small once or twice a day but barely finished it. I was terrified to let her out of my sight and I knew she was starting to get annoyed by it.
Right now, we were laying in bed. I was on my side of the bed and she was on hers. I wanted to hold her so bad, to make her feel safe, but I didn't. We decided after an incident of me getting punched in the face after coming to bed late at night, she'd initiate the touching. I couldn't blame her, the things she went through were horrible and I still kick myself every day for not getting there sooner.
I sat up and looked over at her. Her eyes were closed but I knew she wasn't sleeping. “Teagan?” I asked quietly, she groaned. “I'm going to make something to eat, do you want anything?” I knew she would say no, but I asked anyways.
“No.” She grumbled into her pillow.
“Okay.” I sighed, getting up from the bed. “I love you.”
I didn't get a reply, and I usually didn't. I won't lie, it hurt. It felt like I was being stabbed in the chest with a dull knife, but once again, I didn't blame her. I made my way to the kitchen and fixed myself something to eat, making her something too. I know she said no, but she really needed to eat. I went back into the room with two plates of food, I sat mine down on my bedside table and then sat on the bed.
“I know you said you didn't want anything, but I made you some anyways...” I smiled a bit as she opened her eyes. My smile faded when I saw how irritated she was.
“Why is it that every time I say no, you think it means yes?” She snapped.
“You've barely eaten anything in two weeks, I just thought you might be hungry...” I pleaded with her.
“Well news flash Niall, not everyone eats their feelings like you.” She flung the covers back, almost knocking her plate out of my hand and got out of the bed.
I shook my head. “I understand you're going through a lot, but you need to stop trying to push me away. I'm not going anywhere. I told you I would be there for you, and I will be.” I got up and set her plate down, walking closer to her. “If you don't want to eat, don't eat then. I was just trying to help.” I got as close to her as I could without touching her. “I just want to see you get better, not worse. I love you.”
I could see Teagan was starting to cry, again. “I wish you would stop doing that.” she groaned, looking down at her feet.
“Stop doing what, love?” I cocked my head to the side, confused.
“Reading my mind. It's weird and it's really starting to creep me out. It's like I can't have my own feelings because you already know them. I don't like it.” She fumbled with her fingers, keeping her eyes on the floor.
I couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. “That's why you're mad at me? Because I knew you were just trying to push me away and I won't budge?”
Teagan shrugged, looking at me for a second then moving her eyes around the room. “I don't deserve to have you. You deserve someone better.”
Where did this come from? “Teag, what are you talking about?” I looked at her, standing there in her sweat pants and baggy long sleeve shirt, trying to avoid eye contact with me at all costs. “Just talk to me.”
“I don't deserve you. You should be with someone prettier, smarter, happier. You don't deserve to have me dragging you down. I'm just a whore from London. You deserve a princess.” Her eyes were finally on mine, tears starting to fall.
My eyes were wide. “I have a princess.” I smiled a bit. “You're my princess. You're my sad princess, but you'll be happy again. I know it. I don't deserve anyone but you. You're all I want Teagan. When you're sad, happy, mad. Anything. As long as it's you I don't care.” I pulled her into me, rubbing her back and kissing the top of her head. “And you are not a whore. What happened to you was not your fault. Don't blame yourself. If you're going to blame anyone, blame that sick bastard that did this to you.”
I think this the first full chapter of just Niall's POV? Thoughts? I know, it's super fluffy but I like it.
What else do you think should happen between Niall and Teagan?
