Summary

At the age of 21 MMA was a hobby for Liam. When push came to shove, Liam entered countless matches in search of easy cash. Determined to keep his new apartment Liam finds Jaden, A successful MMA Champion who also knows the roots of boxing. As Liam goes through his day to day life he worries he won't have the chance to find who he really is inside and out. Will Liam get through this struggle alone, or will he look for the guidance he needs?

"Take all the time you need Liam, but just remember, you can't go living your life like this forever." Zayn said before pulling out a cigarette from the pack and lighting the end.
"Zayn, I-I'll never understand your advice, but I guess it's all I have for now."

Characters

Harry

Harry, also one of Liam’s old friends. Sadly Harry – the night owl – is only spotted on occasion; usually having something to do with drugs or partying. Liam and Zayn have attempted to tame the beast inside, but have failed. When he goes missing for countless days they know just where to look for him, the strip club. Harry has never failed to amaze the group, but someday they hope he’ll wake up and start anew. Harry – rarely ever clean – can be harsh, rash, and even provoking. Harry has neither learned, nor taught MMA but he has a surprisingly good fist. Currently Harry considers himself bi, and is always willing to meet new people; too bad the boys don’t know. Age 24

Jaden

Born into an abusive family, Jaden had to learn to respect ones boundaries; even when times became tough. She was only 17 when her uncle had taught her how to fend for herself through MMA – mixed marital arts. It was only an amount of time before she in the ring; or to more precise, the octagon. Years had passed before she had earned the title of “women’s Lightweight Championship”. Eventually she retired at 24 to help others achieve their dreams in MMA. Although she was a star – more ales a legend, she would help anyone who needed it. Jaden, now 26, owns her own gym “The Underdog” and is willing to teach rookies. Jaden can be hotheaded at times but attempts to hide it, She can be outgoing or shy; really depending on the situation. If you get on Jaden’s good side you’re bound to have an advantage.

Liam

Born and raised in a successful family Liam rarely had to fight for anything; or anyone. He kept to himself in his early years, but if you cracked his shell you’d be lucky if he’d let you in. When Liam was just the age of 19 he discovered an outlet, one that finally involved something he longed to all his life, fight. At the age of 21 MMA was a hobby for Liam at, but it soon became more as he struggled to pay rent. When push came to shove, Liam entered countless matched in search of easy cash; even if he lost. Determined to keep his new house, Liam learned his own unique style that others have failed to achieve. Slowly he started to rise up the ladder, getting stronger each match. Liam, now 24, is more-a-less a “badass” as he would put it, can be anxious, shy, humorous, loving and caring. Although Liam has never been in a relationship longer than a year, he’s always looking for “the one”.

Louis

As a young fighter Louis vowed to teach others, Louis was trained countless hours before Jaden had allowed him to even teach at her gym, it was worth it; Louis finally got appointed as the new co-owner of the gym, and befriended Jaden and Niall in the proses. Although they don’t get together much anymore, Louis loves to spend a day with Jaden; weather its grabbing coffee, or going out for a run. Louis currently has a small crush on Harry that might develop problems into the story. Age 23

Niall

Niall is very outgoing, loving, and understanding. Whenever someone needs him, he’s there in a blink of the eye. Niall is very loud and outspoken, not afraid to tell someone the truth. Niall is a good friend of Jaden; they’ve known each other since high school. Niall has had feelings for Jaden before, but will he fess up and just tell her? Age 25

Ryan

Ryan, a trainer at “The Underdog” is very loud and willing to get her point across. Currently she teaches group lessons at the gym along with Jaden. Ryan is starting to have a small interest in Zayn. Age 24

Zayn

One of Liam’s best friends; they’ve known each other for over a decade. Zayn – the one who taught Liam how to fight in the octagon – now lives alone in a small apartment just a few blocks away from Liam himself, they practically meet up whenever they can, and on rare occasion, they spar. Don’t get on Zayn’s bad side, who knows how he’ll react! Zayn can be outgoing or even caring when he really gets to know you; but at first he can seem childish, hotheaded or above all, fearless. Zayn has been learning MMA for a little over four years, sparing for three. Age 22
