JADEN’S POV
“I’ll be in shortly I just have to grab some water.” I called before sprinting downstairs to Louis’ side. I didn’t have to even have to say one word before he started acting as if I weren’t there. I raised a finger to call him over to the corner of the gym. “Louis William Tomlinson you know I’ve stopped training rookies for over three years!” I whisper yelled; strictly pointing a finger at his face. He grinned slyly before responding,
“Jaden, have you not taken a good look at the lad? He is pure muscle, and as tall as a freight train!”
“Only compared to you” I mumbled.
“Don’t even start Jaden, I know you-“
“Don’t you think I know myself?” I snapped back.
“He could make us hundreds of dollars!” Louis chimed before continuing. “I might not have a family but it only gets as good as you and the gym; can’t you see I’m only looking out for you!”
Looking out for me? More like attempting to earn a raise.
I looked at the ground for a brief moment before looking back up to Louis. His hands clasped tight eyes shut; was he praying? I sighed before finally adding “I guess I can try, but I can’t make any promises Lou.” He opened his eyes and brought a hand up to his face as he gasped. He giggled before rushing into a tight hug
“Thank you thank you thank you! Just remember it’s for the sake of the gym no one else, who knows, maybe you’ll take a liking to…. this Liam.” He raised his eyebrows a few times before adding “You never know!” I rolled my eyes before adding
“you want me to teach him, you’ll be his first lesson.”
“You’re kidding right? I thought we were good!”
“I know you heard me Tomlinson, do you want me to train him or not?”
“Oh really? How is this going to help him bring in big bucks?” He replied as he slowly placed a hand on his hip.
“it’s going to teach him how to be a good sport, like-.” I forced the words out of my mouth “you.”
