The Last Goodbye

My younger sister Chloe stood behind me. "How did you know this was me?" I asked her. "I saw your friend coming out of the restrooms and I told her I needed to find you. She described what you were wearing." Chloe answered.

"How did you get here? Does mom and dad know?" I questioned.

"No I snuck out." She said.

"You snuck out?" I repeated.

"My friend Meagan's mom brought us here." Chloe said.

"Then where is Meagan?"

"That's why I came looking for you. I can't find her and I don't know what time the lock in is." I completely spaced out about that. The lock in was a part of the festival too. Someone locks the doors from the inside and you aren't let out til Midnight. Last year they didn't let anyone out til the next morning.
"Fine I'll help you find her. Wait here I will be right back." I said to Harry. He was unaware that anyone was talking to him. He was staring at someone. I looked over in the direction and he was looking at Beth. Harry turned his head back to me.

"Do you need help finding her?" He asked me.

"No that's okay I'll just try and find you later." I said rushing off with Chloe without turning around.

"Was that Harry?" She asked me.

"Yeah." I said without thinking.

" I maybe eleven, but I'm pretty sure your not suppose to kiss boys that aren't you boyfriend." Chloe said. I can't even disagree with that, because she was right.

It took us about fifteen minutes to find her friend Meagan. We found her sitting at a table talking to someone that was way older than her. Meagan looked older than her most girls her age. So she could pass for a high school student. She sent whoever she was talking to away when he noticed we were headed her way.

"What are you two doing here?" I asked Meagan.

"We came for the party, right Chloe." She said.

"Need I remind you that your eleven?!"I told her.

"Your not calling mom or dad are you?" Chloe asked me.

"No I'm calling Meagan's mom."

"My mom?" You can't call my mom!" Meagan shouted. "I thought your mom dropped you off?" The two of them stared at each other than at the ground. "How are you suppose to get home now?" I asked them.

"We can stay." Chloe beamed. "I'm calling our grandmother then. She'll take you home." They both sat down with defeated looks on their faces as I went to go call her.

I escorted them both outside and the three of us sat on the water fountain out front. While we waited for my grandmother to come.
"Victoria?" Chloe said in a innocent child like voice.

"What?"

"I have a bad feeling about something ." She said.

"Are you feeling sick ?" I asked her.

"No it's like something is going to happen."

"Like what?" I asked.

"I'm not sure, but I'm usually never wrong." Chloe said. She kind of creeped me out. I didn't know what was wrong with her. But after the past couple of days nothing would surprise me.
"Is that your grandma?" Meagan said pointing to a white SUV. I walked the two of them to where she was waiting. She had rolled a window down and she was shaking her head an laughing.

"How did these two party girls get loose?" Grandma asked.

"You'll have to have them explain."

"Well don't you look wonderful!" Grandma said while admiring my dress.

"Thanks." I watched until both Meagan and Chloe were in the car. "Cheer up girls the night is still young, even though I'm not." She laughed trying to put a smile on their depressing looking faces. "Ice cream?"

"That'll work." Meagan applauded. My grandmother waved me a goodbye and I waited until she she drove off. I turned back around and headed back inside. The first person I instantly began to look for was no where to be found. Instead I spotted Beth walking around a corner looking distraught over something.

I walked over to where she was and she wasn't alone. Harry was there too. "I know it looks bad. But I had to get this ridiculous mask off my face and I didn't think know one would notice me." Harry said.

"Wait you know this?" Beth spoke over her heavy breathing.

"Sort of." I answered

"What the hell is going on?!" Beth screamed letting her strong southern accent come through.

" I have know idea." I told her truthfully.

"Harry Styles is gone." Beth said.

"Actually I'm right here." Harry interrupted. Beth examined him closely. She reached out her hand and hit his chest. "He feels real. How are you real?" She asked him.

"It's quite a long story." He answered. One I was waiting to hear. If things weren't getting any better Christian had found us. "Hey! Why didn't you guys tell me you made it?" Christian asked. No one said anything. "Harry glad to see you came." He said.

"He knows too?" Beth asked. I shook my head quick before he could see.

"Yeah Tori told me about your new boyfriend."

"She said what?!" Beth said.

"Your boyfriend. You and Harry." Christian said.

"Right I almost forgot." She said remembering our conversation from earlier. "Yeah I've been hiding him so well you would think he didn't exist." She said wrapping her arms around Harry. She looked like she was hugging a hungry lion from the look on her face.

I could feel my imaginary bomb prepare to detonate. More people started to crowd around us. Joining us was the guy I had danced with earlier. "I've found you." Blake said. Coincidentally the girl who I saw Christian with was along side Blake. "This is my sister Hunter." He introduced.

A person on the intercom had chimed in and stopped the music."ATTENTION LADIES AND GENTS. OUR ANNUAL LOCK IN HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN!" Cheering broke out and music played even louder.

Chloe's unwanted feeling rubbed off on me. Because I had a gut feeling something was bound to go wrong...
