Madalyn
Chapter 6
I awoke in the morning to Liam snuggled close to me, something I didn't expect. I didn't really want to be awake, fearing that he would push me away. But thank God, Liam's eyes were closed and he was asleep. Or at least, it appeared he was asleep. I tried to casually snuggle closer to him and fall asleep, but found that it was noon already. I wondered when Liam wanted to go to the fair, probably tonight, it would be more romantic then, that was the way Liam was. I didn't move, but Liam chuckled.
"You really are cute when you try to be sneaky," he laughed. So he apparently wasn't asleep.
"Th-thanks," I whispered and stuttered. Why was he so breathetaking?
"So when do you want to go to the fair?" Liam asked, still not removing his arm from its position around my shoulders.
"I was thinking about that, and any time is fine by me, really," I said. We sat in silence for a few moments before Liam finally talked.
"I think we should go this evening," just as I suspected. Fine by me, I like the night better, for going out at least.
"Liam, I'm hungry," I said. I don't know why, but seriously, my stomach was about to digest itself. Liam laughed.
"Bet you are, you haven't eaten since yesterday at noon!" he took his arm off my shoulder and stood up, he was only wearing his boxers, why'd he do this to me? "Well, come on, we'll go to Niall's and he can share his food," Liam took my hand and pulled me out of the bed.
I was dwarfed by him, and his hand-constantly holding mine-engulfed mine. My hand was legit swallowed alive, but I didn't mind. At least he was holding my hand. We came to Niall and Ariella's room, and they were obviously awake. The sounds of giggles and chuckles could be heard through the door. The door was unlocked and we walked in on Ariella in her bra and shorts and Niall in his boxers. They looked interesting, to say the least.
"Madalyn!" Ariella said excitedly, "Come eat! I could hear your stomach grumbling from over there!" I jumped onto the bed and Niall grumbled when I pushed him over to sit beside Ariella. We shoved food down eachothers throats, a normal practice for the two of us. Niall and Liam just watched us feed eachother for like 15 minutes before Ariella asked what was wrong.
"You two are feeding eachother! And laughing!" Niall said, uber confused.
"It is a tradition in our little group of friends, if we spend the night or see eachother for breakfast we feed eachother, it's a sisterly thing, I swear!" I laughed. Liam was sitting there with his brow furrowed, "Liam, we're straight!" Ariella and I laughed at his expression.
"I know that! For god's sake you slept with me!" Niall made a face at that comment, implying the dirtiest thing possible, "Don't even go there," Liam threatened. They both were trying to be tough, but it was hilariously off.
I pat the bed for Liam to come sit beside me and he did. I winked at Ariella before shoving a bagel into his questioning mouth, "See? Fun tradition!"
He manfully swallowed the bagel and laughed, "Not bad, I want another one," for the next 30 minutes all of us were shoving food in eachothers mouths. Niall easily consumed the most food, and by bagel 3 I was stuffed. But Niall just kept sucking them down, like he couldn't stop.
"Jesus Niall! Ariella laughed. Niall had his mouth full of food and Liam was laughing.
"Let's go, Maddie," Liam said and took my hand. He walked to our bedroom and he sat me down on the bed, "So what is your full name?"
I told him, and for a few hours we did nothing but talk about insufficient things. We talked until it was dark, and then he walked out, leaving me pondering why he walked out. Then I remembered, we were going to the fair. I giggled at his respect for my privacy, even though he's already slept in the same bed as me.
