A small knock on the door let me know that Liam was back, "Come in!" I yelled. I shoved my already worn clothes in one of the many bags from my shopping trip. I heard the door close and quiet footsteps come up behind me. I turned around and Liam was holding a box of chocolates and some roses, "What's this for?" I asked.
"Well, I felt bad, wanna go for a swim?" I giggled. I'd just showered, but it wouldn't hurt to put my feet in the water, may even be refreshing.
"Yeah, sure," I said and he smiled really big. He took my hand and and led me outside, in the hallway, I could see Ariella and Niall flirting. Ariella saw me and smiled hugely, my special snowflake girl. She gave me a two thumbs up, but when Niall noticed her attention was diverted-although he didn't know on what-he began to tickle her. One thing about Ariella, is she's a dancer, and she's ticklish. Niall was going to have to beware of her feet, because she could easily break his nose.
We got out to the pool area and Liam instantly stripped off his pants and revealed a pair or dorky swim trunks. I giggled as he excitedly jumped into the pool. I wasn't wearing any swimsuit or bikini or anything, so I satisfied myself by sitting by the pool and dipping my feet in. Liam got out of the pool soaking wet and chased me around the poolside.
"No, Liam!" I yelled, "I don't wanna be wet!"
"Fine," he said and stopped. I walked a good 20 feet away before stopping, "Come eat some chocolate with me," he said and walked over to a table. I watched how his back muscles flexed when he walked, it was enchanting. He wasn't like a balloon that could pop he was so fit, he was just fit enough to make him extremely sexy.
"Alright," I said hesitantly. I began walking towards him and he sat down at a table with an umbrella over it. Liam pat the seat next to him and I sat down. I could hear Louis' occasional hysterical giggles as he watched us from the window-which was open. That was the most embarrassing thing, knowing that Louis was watching, so only god knows who else was too.
"So firstly I want to apologize," I went to cut Liam off, but he put a finger up to my lips, "I know I already apologized, but I wanted to do it right. I was an ass, and I know that you thought I was using you as a rebound girl. That hurt me more than it hurt you, or at least, my guilty conscience telling me that I was doing wrong to a right girl ate me alive. And it's only been a day, so I can only imagine the kinda hell I would have put myself through if I'd continued to look like I didn't care. So I am sorry, and I do want you to come on tour with us because I like you, so please, will you come on tour with me as more than a friend but not quite a girlfriend....yet," Liam added at then end.
"Liam, you know I only went shopping because I would have no clothes to wear on tour with you. Plus, Ariella and Niall needed a break from eachothers tongues," Liam laughed at my suggestive comment. All the sudden, I heard Niall screaming.
"I heard that, Madalyn!" he yelled out the window. I laughed, I thought I was quiet, but then I looked under the table. A microphone.
"Seriously, Louis?" I yelled.
"You two are very romantic!" he laughed. Funny Louis, spying on us.
"I'm coming up!" I said and grabbed the box of chocolates and the rose, I tucked the rose behind my ear, "I'm stealing the chocolate by they way," I said and ran to the entrance. Liam laughed at me as I struggled to open the door, "Lou! Why'd you lock the door?" I yelled up at a guffawing Louis.
"Well, I couldn't help that I wanted to prolong the prettiness!"
"Open the damn door!" I yelled. The lady at the counter came over and opened the door. Liam, the counter girl, and I all laughed for a few moments before I gave her a hug and went upstairs. I was suddenly sleepy, like deathly sleepy.
"So, lovebirds, you are coming right?" Zayn asked when I got upstairs.
"I never said I wouldn't!" I laughed, "Why did everybody think that?"
"You looked hurt, Madalyn. We have girlfriends, ya'know. Like seriously, I can read facial expressions," Zayn said, very intently texting.
I sighed and told him to tell Perrie I said good evening, even though she had no clue who I was. I walked into my and Liam's room and layed down on the bed, utterly exhausted with the events of the day.
"Madalyn," Liam said, keeping a small distance that I wish didn't exist between us, "Do you want to go to the carnival tomorrow?"
"I'd love to," I said and thought of all of the rides that would get me clinging to Liam in some form or another because of my deathly fear of heights.
