Back Again

Hayden's POV

My eyes fluttered open to the sound of voices around me. Bright lights were shining in my face my vision was blurred, it hurt too look around. There was a cluster of people next to the thing I was lying on, a bed? I looked across from me. Kirstin was sitting upright on another bed, her leg bandaged hooked up to a monitor, listening intently to the conversation going on just a few feet away. "No!" she said suddenly. Too loud Kirstin. Please be quieter. I thought, my head was pounding.

"Kirstin, we have to. If something like this," Will gestures to me and her, "Happens again, who knows if you will recover."

"Kirstin, he's right. We need to pull the plug on this investigation. We have no choice." Dani joined in. Harry was sitting right next to my bed. His hand on mine. Jessie was standing next to Dani. The most surprising person here was Spencer. He's so busy, why would he be here. Where are we. Obviously a hospital, but which one, where, how did I get here? The questions pounded in my head.

"What's.... what's happ... happening?" it was all I could manage. Harry squeezed my hand.

"Hayden? Are you up?" He asked. I couldn't say another word. It hurt to breathe, hurt to talk. All I could do was squeeze his hand again. "Oh thank God." he breathed out. "Will, she's awake!" He was being too loud. Why is everyone so loud here. I squeezed his hand again. "What, what is it?!" he asked, almost bewildered. I slowly brought his hand to his mouth, pressing his finger against his lips. I could barely manage it, all I could do was hope he understood. He nodded his head against my hand, "Guys be quiet too." he says in a much better tone. I let my hand fall in approval.

"Oh, Hayden. Please, please be ok." Dani said sitting down in a chair next to my bed.

"Excuse me, I know you have been all waiting to hear what is fully wrong with your co-workers. Ms. Dzalgia is in relatively good condition, about a 3 inch deep stab wound, small blood loss, minor burns and minor head bruising, but otherwise can be released within the next few days. Unfortunately for Ms. Olsen, well she has suffered much more damage. Because she was unconscious during the explosion, she was unable to protect herself form anything or pick herself up and remover herself from the situation. She suffers from a gunshot wound to her left arm, a concussion, several fractured limbs in her right arm, left foot, and four ribs on the right side. She also suffers from moderate blood loss, a broken nose, and moderate burns to her left side. Ms. Olsen will have to stay in the hospital for at least two weeks, most likely more. While the rest of you are free to leave whenever, we would like to remind you that, several of you have been attacked by small amounts of chemical poison, and all have minor burn injuries. Mr. Styles suffers the worst injuries, as he was the one to look throughout wreckage for patient Olsen. If any of you begin to feel different than how you usually do, please tell us immediately. Goodbye." and the doctor left the room. I turned my head to Harry and smiled. He might've saved my life. He squeezed my hand and smiled back.

"Hayden, the rest of us have been talking and we feel that we should include you in this conversation, however, we will let you rest first." Spencer says. I press my lips into a tight smile and my eyes flutter shut with the sight of Harry burned into my eyelids.

Hey guys. So, Liam, my amazing little love mush (sorry I have weird names) gave me plane tickets to go to Telluride, Colorado, which is where my older sister lives. My parents own a house there but they don't always use it so he took me out there to see her and it was the best present ever. Anyway the wifi out there wasn't working so I couldn't update but HAPPY NEW YEAR BELATED AND CHRISTMAS AND ALL THE OTHER HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm on Colorado time and I didn't get home until 4:30 EST which is 2:30 MST (mountain standard time) and then I had to get up at 6:30 EST which is 4:30 MST and I got like 2 hours of sleep and I am so fucking tired and uregwiksfjgwe,s I am just so sleep deprived and now its 12:30 am EST and you guys probably aren't reading this but still I am going crazy.
