The Battle Finally Begins
Avalon 's Pov
I was in my tent putting on my enchanted wardrobe I chose one and ran to check on Lizzie, once I found her she was putting magic dust on the side of her belt . I already had my dust, Harry had swords on his hips and he was already getting the horses ready. The King also was coming out the tent he was talking to one of his generals then he set eyes on us. We didn't need to have super hearing when he said," If you'll excuse me general,. I have business to attend to." He walked up to the 3 of us and with his booming voice he asked," Where do you think you're going?" I walked to my steed and started hop up, I say," We're going to fight of course." The King laughed a little too hard and he said," I don't think so." He pointed to us and he shouts," Guards take these 3 and keep them in the chamber!!"
Lizzie shot her head in the direction of her father and she said," Father how could you say that. We came to help you in the battle and we are fully capable of taking care of ourselves and we're not gonna let these guards keep us away from it."
Lizzie had mumbled something and ice shot from her fingertips and the guards who were attempting to take us away was covered in ice. " I can't allow you to stop us father." Her father looked at the iced men and laughed a little more crazier than his last laugh.
Lizzie, Harry and I looked perplexed, her father finally was able to manage out," My dear it's hard to take you seriously when you don't know the history of our families guard history. We didn't get it until the ice started to melt off the men and slowly they continued walking to us.
Her father continued," These men can't be destroyed by any type of magic,they always obey they're orders, and they are amazing in combat." The men had grabbed me from behind and held my hands from behind. " Hey let go of me!!" I exclaimed.
Silently they took me and Harry and Lizzie. We all struggled but it was no use, they were indeed very strong as I have also read in the history books again so unlike me. They take us to a prison chamber and as I see Lizzie's hands waving frantically I guess it's magic resistant.
The guards threw us in and the last one leaving said," We'll come to get you after the war is done and over with." Lizzie ran for the door crying out," You won't be here to take us out."
As the door slammed Lizzie dramatically slid down the door and banged on it screaming out curses to the guards, Marcus and she eventually started on her father, finally I couldn't take it anymore.
" OH SHUT UP ALREADY!!!!" I shouted and Harry and Lizzie's eyes were on me. I stood up and continued," You are screaming and shouting where is that gonna fucking get you?! No one is listening and while you wasted your breath screaming at the guard your father has moved miles from us to get killed!!!"
Harry got up and said," I understand where you're coming from Avalon but with all due respect to your friendship, you shouldn't be talking about about the best for each other when you can't even face each other."
" Why you..." I started for him then stopped, I turned to Liz and I completely collapsed emotionally I thought about how I have to do my best to help Liz but I remember what happened each time Lizzie tried to talk to me. I cried and cried and went to Lizzie I sobbed," Liz I'm sorry...I....I..I wanted to protect you, to protect your father so you wouldn't have to lose anyone close to you." I closed my eyes weeping and weeping, suddenly I felt a pair of arms wrap around me. I look up and see Lizzie holding me in her arms and she said," Ya know I thought you hated me all this time, this whole time you were truing to renew my bond with my father when I really needed to renew my bond with my best friend." I smiled and we hugged as I stopped crying and it was only sniffles that we all heard. Finally when it stopped their was silence in the room and I gathered my thoughts together, I spoke up and said," Okay breakdown time over, now I have to say something...we can't just sit here waiting for the news that your father died Liz."
Harry gets up after me and shoving his hands into his pockets and asked," How do you suppose we do that Avalon? " I say," Well I'm glad you asked because I have thee best plan ever....that is if you'd like to hear it." Harry shrugged his shoulders and Lizzie said," I'm open ears."
I clapped my hands together excitedly, I smiled and said," Excellent. So here"s the plan..."
