We walked into camp exhausted we collapsed onto the benches.

“Oh god” I hissed “My body aches” I rolled my shoulders and heard them crack.

“I’m going to go check the trap on the top of the hill, it’s within shouting distance”

“Okay” I replied simply

Liam sat down next to me his lips were white. Fear? I guessed, shock?

“So Scarlett” Louis asked across the circle from beside Zayn “What was that kiss all about?”

I was quiet “ I don’t know”

Hades was sitting between Liam and I: His tongue lolling out. Hades snuggled up to Liam and yawned. I smiled and rubbed his ears quickly leaning down and kissing his head.

Louis Liam Niall and Zayn looked at me confusion evident on their faces.

“He told me if we were going to die he wanted to do something, he kissed me, and I told him that I didn’t feel that way”

“How do you feel?” Zayn asked me “What do you feel?”

“I’m confused” I answered earnestly “sure I love Harry, but when I’m with the other person its just- I don’t know”

“Like the world falls away?” Liam asked me “ like no one else is there but you and him? No walkers, no ground, like your floating in a cloud? Safe?”

I looked into his brown eyes “Yes, exactly, everything goes away…”

“I know the feeling,” he whispered

I nodded.

“But,” I said, “ I think I have feelings for someone else too…”

Louis eyes widened “Boy issues much?”

I laughed dryly “Very much”

“Well” Louis said “I’m obviously the one your in love with” he snorted

“Tell me about it” I rolled my eyes and chuckled.

Louis threw a soft slightly deflated soccer ball at me.

I dodged it and chuckled.

I yawned “We should set up the other tents before it gets dark.”

“Definitely” Zayn Said

“We need sleeping arrangements,” Louis stated “there are three tents and 6 of us- plus Hades.”

I stood up “We can figure that out over dinner”

Liam stood up; he swayed and then grabbed the laundry pole.

“Liam?” I asked worried

And before the words came out of my mouth Liam was down on the ground blood pooling around his head.
