Chapter 6
~Harry’s View~
I walked downstairs and the house phone began to ring. “Hello” I answered.
“Is this Harry Styles?” A woman’s voice asked.
“Yes it is whose calling?”
“This is Andrea from the police station, we have your son Nicholas Styles, down at the station, will you like to come get him or will he be spending the night here?” As she said this, I dropped the phone. Nick was supposed to be sleeping at a friend’s house; he never gets into trouble, now he’s getting arrested.
“I’ll come pick him up, what did he do?” I asked her.
“We can talk more about that at the station, thank you Mr. Styles” and she hung up the phone.
“ Darcie, Maya I need to go get your brother! Be good while I’m gone!” I screamed this to them as ran out the door. I drove so fast I got to the station within minutes.
I ran into the station, “I’m here to get my son…where…where is he!” I could hardly talk I was so out of breath.
“Sir calm down, what is his name?”
“Nicholas Styles, he’s only 15, where is he? What did he do?” I was talking so fast and was shaking, what possibly could he have done.
“Follow me” was all she said. She was actually good looking, wait I can’t think like this, I’m married, wait know I’m not anymore. My mind stopped racing when I saw my son in a cell. He was just sitting there, staring at the wall. He looked disgusting; he looked abnormally thin as well.
“Dad, you came.” He looked so surprised, like he thought I wouldn’t come down here and save his ass. What are all the papers going to say now? I can just see the headlines “Harry Styles failing as a father.” It actually hurt to think like that, it made me want to go back to the x-factor days and just have my life stay like that forever.
“Nick, what the hell did you do?”
“I can tell you what he did; he was caught stealing jewelry and cash on private property. We have it all on video, bail is set at 10 thousand.” The pretty cop lady said to me.
“What the fuck Nick! What could you possibly need that you don’t have? You know you just have to ask me and I’ll give you anything you want! But STEALING?” I was so upset I wanted to punch a wall.
“I’ll get him out, here’s the money” I whispered to the cop. She took it from me and started to let Nick out.
“Thank you for taking care of my son, whats your first name again?” I asked her.
“I’m Andrea; I was actually a big fan of your band when I was younger, sorry to have to meet you like this.” She nodded her head towards Nick. He just shook his head and rolled his eyes.
“Yeah me too, hopefully we won’t be back here again….” I told her, we started to walk out of the station, of course paparazzi swarmed us, and I felt so embarrassed, only imaging what the tabloids would say. The car ride home was silence, complete silence; you couldn’t hear anything besides the engine of the car.
As we pulled up to the house, Darcie was getting into the car with Kellen for her date tonight. She waved to me and they left, I was so happy for her.
Nick rushed out of the car. I walked into hearing my old song “heart attack” being played and Maya running around the house singing it. I was shocked, she hated my music.
“Never thought it'd hurt so bad,

She was smiling and dancing, and I was so shocked because I’ve never seen her like this. Once she saw me she ran back into her room. I had to talk to Nick and Maya and see what was going on.
I knocked on both of their doors. “Family meeting downstairs now”
It took them long enough but they finally came downstairs, I had to get things straight, why did Maya hate me? And why did Nick feel he need to steal in order to get my attention.
