Madi heard the doors slamming from outside and slipped on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, before hurrying downstairs. She smirked slightly and opened the door, her eyes widening and her smirk fading, realising who it was. She quickly pulled him into a hug, tears rolling down her cheeks. Alex smiled and hugged back, pressing her body against his, tears in his eyes. He nuzzled his face in her neck, taking her scent; marshmallows and peppermint. Damn, did he love the way she smelled. Madi ran her fingers up and down his back, tears steadily rushing down her cheeks, "I missed you.." She murmured. Alex nodded and let out a quiet sob. For once, her was more emotional than here. Hell, it's the girl he's in love with. His best friend. His everything. She was the Rose to his Jack; the Jane to his Tarzan; the Beauty to his Beast! She was his muse. They were rarely seen one without the other. Going a month was the hardest thing he'd ever have to do. He hated to see her alone. When they'd Skype, she'd just nod and say she was okay, when she obviously was crumbling away on the inside. Alex pulled away and smiled, "I missed you more.." Madi pulled her sweatshirt sleeves over her hands and wiped his eyes, a soft smile on her face. She glanced over his shoulder, and flashed a smile at Ashton, Michael, Calum, and Luke, who were patiently waiting behind Alex. She grabbed his hand and pulled him inside, lacing their fingers, her hands shaking a bit. The rest of the boys followed them, looking around, "Where's Harry and the boys?" Luke asked, plopping down on the couch. Madi shrugged and walked into the kitchen, "I thought you were them..They left a while ago.." She let go of Alex's hand and pulled out a piece of cold pizza. She sat on the counter, Alex standing in front of her, "Hi." She whispered in between bites, noticing the smirk growing on his face. She finished her piece of pizza and dropped the crust on the floor for the dog, Sammy, to eat. She hopped off the counter and grabbed Alex's hand, pulling him into the living room. Alex sat down in the corner of the couch, smiling. Madi sat on his lapped and looked around at everyone, "Why are you here?" She asked quietly. Alex wrapped his arm around her waist, pulling her closer. Ashton shrugged, "We're starting early, I guess. Plus, he was whining." Luke smirked in agreement. Madi nodded slightly and rested her head on Alex's shoulder, "So, you're staying, right?" Calum nodded and moved into Michael's lap, resting his head on his shoulder, mocking Madi. Madi rolled her eyes and buried her face in his shoulder. Alex smirked at Calum, watching him do the same thing. After a few minutes, Madi fell asleep. Alex sighed happily and cuddled the girl, soon falling asleep himself. Luke smirked and got up, grabbing a blanket off the back of the couch. He gently set it over them, before returning to his seat. Ashton pulled out his phone and took a picture, posting it on Twitter and Instagram, captioning it 'Finally! They're reunited!'
