Jonathan's POV

Jona! Scott said.

hey scott. how are ya?

great. you know that girl from college right?

I shook my head.

Barbara? Does it ring a Bell?

oh yeah ofcourse. What's the deal with her?

well she is throwing a party tonight and she wants to set you up with someone.

who? I asked.
I didn't really want a girlfriend.
the truth was I still kinda had feelings for Caitlin.
But she suddenly left.
no one knew where she went and why she left.
Only when Caitlin Started to wear cheaper clothes and didn't go out with us anymore.
they decided it would be a shame if she still hung out with us.
but what they didn't know is that I still hung out with her after school sometimes.
it really broke her heart and I was to dumb to say to my friends that no matter what I still liked her, but ofcourse I was afraid that I would lose my popularity and lose all my friends.

meanwhile we Walked to the computerroom and decided that we would have a bit off fun before the classes Started.
so we went on omegle.
the first one I texted was a pervert I thought but the second was interesting.

stranger: hey
me:hi
stranger: how are u?
me: fine. you?
stranger: well pretty bad.
Me: what then?
stranger: one of my closest friends got into a car accident and His girlfriend died. Also a girl I really like rejected me.
me: sad to hear that. what's ur name?
stranger: my name is Harry. Yours?
me: Jonathan. Where are you from?
stranger: United Kingdom. you?
me: America.
stranger: okay cool, a new girl from our school is from America.
me: cool. What's her name? maybe I know her.
stranger: Caitlin. She rejected me.
me: I do know her.

stranger disconnected.

oh man this is not good.


6 hours later

I said on a chair at the party.
I didn't really have fun.
I kept thinking about that chat with that one Harry Guy.

hey Jonathan! A girl walked to me. another girl was with her.

jonathan, may I introduce you to the Lovely Danielle? She said. She was probably drunk.

hi Danielle, I said.

hi Jonathan. She said. her british accent was really good to hear.

you're from England? I said.

yeah, it is not that big of a deal. I always wanted to leave as soon as I was done with school.
I had to leave my boyfriend but yeah..

she felt a little bit off uncomfortable but we talked until it was 1 Am.
but she didn't make me feel like the way Caitlin made me feel.
