I..I've been searching for the longest time….Every second, every hour…was consumed into finding her. You could say I was obsessed but I fucked up. I said things I shouldn't have…and …I just…I shouldn't have been so stupid.

I swigged the remnants of the rum bottle, and tossed it to the side. Unknowingly it flung towards the dresser, and knocked over a picture of Lia. Now broken on the floor, I couldn't help but break down. Everything I do, everything I see…reminds me of her.

Laying back on the bed, a few light knocks were placed on my door.

"Baby…Gemma's here to see you…Please tell me you'll come out and see her…" She creaked open the door halfway, and rushed over to me.

"Harry…please don't do this to yourself…You'll find her…I promise. You will baby…" She assured me, pulling away curly strands of hair that were sprawled across my face.

After an hour of talking to Gemma, I was a little relieved. I felt like some weight was lifted off my chest…Gemma knows…and since I haven't seen her in awhile she's become an aid.

"Harry….Now that I know everything about this young lady who you're in love with, what's her name? I know every little thing about her, yet you fail to tell me her name…"

"Lia….Thalia….Thalia Grey." I tried to hold back tears, but they just came bursting out. Gemma ran over, embracing me in her arms.

"You'll find her….She's not that far away….Trust me..."


****Gemma's POV

Visting Harry during my college break, was painful. Mum had called pleading for me to come and nurture him. Her charm, and comfort was no longer good enough, and she had never seen him this distraught.

I had never believed her until I arrived. Harry had dark bags under his eyes, frail weak stature, and a temper. He drank, and swore….And if you dared to question him, he'd get upset. He looked broken…and I had never seen him like this. Harry had opened up to me, openly. Explaining his situation.

He fell deeply in love with a girl who made him work for her affection. She wasn't easy, and she played a hard game like he did. They'd get into arguments, but he loved her nonetheless. Everything she did was perfect to him, her personality, her way, her hair, her body, her eyes, just her…and everything about her. He had told me about their first time, and how she was a virgin…how he had never cared so much for a girl in the little amount of time he had known her. Then one day, he assumed, and she left. 6 months and no word.

He was still so in love with her, but he did stupid things, and then one day during winter she came home. He told me about the car crash, and then last he told me about her pregnancy. Swearing he had never known anything about it, he was sorry, for not being there, and for not being by her side. Rose, as she was supposed to name her died the day of, and he had showed me the rose tattoo on his forearm. I told him I understood too.

I did, my close friend, had too lost a child. She had a small rose on wrist, and she and I had become very close over the last few months. She had never opened up to me fully, but I knew it pained her like it pained Harry.

Her name was Lia Grey. But her full name was Thalia..So Thalia Grey.

"Lia….Thalia….Thalia Grey." Harry mumbled before tears welled, and trickled down his face.

Running over and embracing him, I was shocked. Lia…Was his…Does she know who I am?

She’s much closer than you think Harry…Much closer.

…. As I comforted a little longer, there was a loud bang on the door.

"HARRY OPEN UP…"

Shooting up and out of his seat, he ran over to the door swinging it open. "Blake…" Was all he said, as he grabbed his coat, waving goodbye to mum and I.
