~Madelyn's POV~



*1 Week Later*

I was cleaning off the counter when all of a sudden Louis bursts through the door.

"Hello, love!" He beamed with happiness.

"Ooohh.... Why are you so happy?" I asked. Everytime I saw Louis happy it always made me happy.

"Well.... I broke up with Eleanor.. So no we can be official." He exclaimed.

I froze. Official? Yea I'm okay with being official but being shown to the world... No way.

Although Eleanor is now out of the picture. She won't be able to bother us anymore! But public? No...

"Lou... Uhhm-"

"Oh great you don't wanna date me, do you?!" He asked.

"No, no! I do! It's just... I don't really want to be public." I said.

Great, now he is going to break it off because he wants to show us to the world. But I can't handle that. I have already had enough hate as it is.

"Oh well you could have just said so." He walked over and gave me a hug.

Something about his warm embrace makes me feel like.. Just for 3 seconds that.. I'm safe. That no one can hurt me. Except him. Haha, nice joke Maddie.

I'm so stupid when I think to myself.


"Are you sure Louis?" I asked.

"Of course! Madelyn, you're the most beautiful girl I've ever met!" We parted from the hug.

The most beautiful? Really? Haha. Well then.... I feel special.

That seemed a bit sarcastic but I seriously do feel special now. No one has called me beautiful since... Ugh... Nathaniel. Anyways Madelyn let's not think about that!

Positive thoughts!

"Sorry Lou. I know I don't have a TV or a bed or food... or a car for that matter but-" I sighed.

"It's hard trying to make it on your own." I finished.

"No! It's ok! Really, I mean it. Don't ever think bad about yourself." He cheered me up.

"Thanks Lou." I said sitting beside him on the couch.

"I'll help you out, ok?" He said.

I turned to face him and smiled.

He smiled in return. Then made cross eyes and stuck his tongue out.

I laughed and playfully hit him.

"Soo..... Wanna come to my house and play some Monopoly?!" He asked excitedly.

Everytime Lou came over to my house we always played Monopoly and I mean always!

"Of course!" I got off the couch and grabbed my house keys while Louis walked outside the door. I quickly met him out there and locked the apartment securely.

"Louis." I said.

"I have a feeling you'll be saying that word a lot tonight." He chuckled.

I gasped.

"Louis! You dirty little freak!" I laughed.

I got in the passenger seat.

"But seriously tho, Louis. Are you sure you wanna do this? Sneaking around thing?" I asked.

"Well I respect your privacy. Of course we can sneak around."

"Oh ok then that's co-" He interrupted me.

"BUT! The guys are coming over tomorrow. Do you wanna meet them?" He asked.

I thought about this for a second. Meeting 4 other boys. Who will probably also think I'm short and ugly and have no point in living on this world.

But on the other hand... They are Louis' friends.

"Ok. Sure yea." I sighed.

When we stopped at a light he leaned over and gave me a quick little kiss.

I'm so not looking forward to tomorrow.
