Pia's Point Of View

We were carrying a lot of shopping bags by the time we got back to Zayn's house. As we enter the door we saw Zayn cleaning up the living room.

"Hey Zaynie!" I said as I put my bags aside and coming up on him.

"Ouch, please don't call me that" he said giving me a smile that quickly fades.

"Why?" I asked confused.

"Zaynie is exclusively for Perrie's use only" Harry said chuckling.

"Oh you mean Zayn's girlfriend, right?" I asked. Because I'm not a big fan, I don't really know all things about them, including their girlfriends' names.

"Ex-girlfriend" Zayn corrected. The guys all look at him and screamed, "WHAT?!"

"When did this happen?" Niall said tackling Zayn to the floor.

"Why didn't you tell us?!" Louis said smacking Zayn's head while he's on the floor.

"Mate, have you gone mad?!" Harry asked a little too loud.

"Okay, okay. Get off of him, Niall. I'm sure he has a perfectly good explanation for this" Liam said pulling Niall up as Zayn stood up.

"I was expecting that kind of reaction" Zayn said scratching the back of his head.

"We're waiting for the explanation" Niall said tapping his feet.

"I broke up with her" he replied shrugging.

"Mate, just like that?" Louis asked.

"Wait, YOU broke up with her?" Harry asked.

"Yes, I'm the one who called things off" he replied.

"When did this happen?" Liam asked.

"A few moments after you left" he answered slumping on the couch.

"Why?" the other four said at the same time.

"We grew apart, I don't think I have feelings for her anymore. Let's leave it as that, I don't want to talk about it anymore" Zayn said sighing. There was silence for a few minutes before Harry spoke.

"Well at least now, Louis boo bear is the odd one out of all of us" he said shrugging.

"Did you just call me Louis boo bear? Damn, I was hoping you all forgot that" Louis said rolling his eyes. Everyone now has a smile on their faces, which was good.

"How about we have dinner at Nando's to cheer you up?" Niall said cheerfully.

"But we just had takeouts from Nando's last night!" Liam said.

"How about some homemade lasagna then?" I asked grinning.

"Did you say lasagna?" Niall said looking at me grinning.

"Yup, since this is your house Zayn, help me in the kitchen" I said dragging him out of the room. I need him alone to talk about what's on my mind.

"Okay, I know you wanna talk" Zayn said the moment we enter the kitchen. We look over to see if the guys followed us but they didn't.

"Did you broke up with your girlfriend because of Elaine?" I asked softly.

"No," he said rather quickly. I gave him a face. "Yes, no I mean. Kind of"

"Zayn.." I said glaring at me.

"She's not entirely the reason I broke up. I told you I've been thinking about my relationship with Perrie for a long time now." he said. Just then I felt my phone buzzed in my pocket. I look at it and it was a new mention.

"Who's that?" Zayn asked.

"Yesha, she wants to video chat later" I said.

"Yesha? Say yes!!" Niall said appearing in the doorway.

"Mate, how long have been there?" Zayn asked looking worried.

"Just now why?" he asked as the other three appeared.

"Nothing, I'll reply yes then" I said typing my answer.

I laugh at the last statement and clicked tweet. I put my phone away and turned to the guys.

"Okay, who's up on helping me with dinner?" I asked grinning.

"So you see I really like you, I do. I wasn't lying last night,-" Niall said practicing but I cut him. He was practicing on how to explain to Yesha about last night. The guys laughed at him as he turned to me.

"Uh Niall, they're here I just need to click the video chat button. So if you don't want to be heard shut up now" I said smiling at him. He nodded and sat next to me. I clicked the button and my friends faces pop up.

"Yesha! Hey, nice to see you!" Niall said a little too loud, the minute their faces pops up.

"Turn it down, mate or you'll scare her" Harry teased laughing.

"Hi Niall" Yesha said smiling.

"Rayesha, listen. Last night, what I said," Niall started.

"I know. It's nothing, you were in the influence of alcohol and you didn't know what you were saying" Yesha said shrugging.

"That's not true! I really meant what I said last night. I really do like you, Rayesha. I'm falling for you more and more every time I see you" he said grinning.

"You do know that your friends and my friends are just right behind you and me" Yesha said blushing.

"I don't really care" he replied shrugging. Louis smacked Niall shoulder.

"That's my boy, always the romantic, isn't he?" he said smirking.

"Don't ruin the moment, Lou" Liam said rolling his eyes.

"Hey, I'm just happy I am now not the only guy here who has a love life" Louis said.

"What do you mean by that?" Meg asked curious.

"Yeah, I thought Zayn has a girlfriend" Sania asked. It's a good thing now she's here and not with Migz.

"Had a girlfriend. We broke up" Zayn said shrugging.

"What? When did that happen?" Elaine asked surprised.

"A while ago, this little bloke broke up with Perrie and didn't even tell us" Harry said smacking Zayn in the head.

"Hey I told you when you got here didn't I?" Zayn said grinning. I looked at Elaine and she was frowning. I cleared my throat to get their attention as Elaine spoke.

"Zayn, can I talk to you privately?" Elaine said then she turned to me. "Give him my number" I nodded and did what she said. I watched as Zayn goes upstairs dialing Elaine's number.

"Is something wrong?" Liam asked as Elaine disappears from the screen.

"Oh it's nothing, probably some favor Elaine wants Zayn to do. You don't have to worry" I said smiling to convince them. They nodded and we proceeded to talk without Zayn and Elaine.

Zayn's Point Of View

I closed the door behind me as I was waiting for Elaine to answer. I video called her since I really want to see her face. She answered on the third ring, her face popping up on my phone.

"Zayn" she said simply. I noticed her background and saw that she was outside.

"Hey Elaine um so about last night.." I started didn't really know what to say or where to start.

"Zayn, I was totally convinced that last night's confession is just a joke but what I learned a while ago tells me it isn't" she said.

"Elaine-"

"Did you broke up with your girlfriend because of me?" she asked cutting me.

"Elaine, why would you think that? Of course not." I said quickly. I should hit myself in the head for lying.

"You sure about that?" she replied clearly not convinced.

"Yes, sure" I said nodding.

"I don't believe you" she said frowning.

"But love, I assure you. You weren't the reason why I broke up with her" I said trying to convince her.

"Please don't call me love" she said.

"Why? It didn't bother you before" I said frowning now.

"That's because before it was just for silly banter" she said, her voice sounded irritated.

"Elaine.." I said, not knowing what to say.

"Look me in the eye and tell me I wasn't the reason you broke up with Perrie" she said staring me in the eyes. I sighed.

"Okay maybe you were a part of it-"

"You see!" she said a little too loud.

"Let me finish." I said taking a deep breath. "Yes, you were a part of it but you weren't the whole reason, I have other reasons as well"

"What are those reasons then?" she asked.

"Well for one she can be controlling sometimes," I paused trying to smile but it quickly fades as I saw Elaine still frowning. "Are you still upset?"

"Yes, you lied to me" she said glaring at me.

"What? I didn't! I told you the truth" I said in disbelief.

"You said in the beginning I got nothing to do with the break up, you lied" she said.

"Love..." I said softly, begging her to not be mad.

"What did I say on calling me love?" she said with an annoyed look on her face. I sighed.

"Elaine.." I said. "Okay maybe I lied to you a tiny bit. But why are you so upset?" I asked. It did confused me on why she's so upset. A usual fangirl would shout for joy that I'm single and available. Plus, she knows I like her. Why isn't she going crazy about it? She's different, and that's why I like her.

"Because!" she shouted. "I was the reason for a perfectly good relationship to end" I sighed and looked into her eyes.

"It wasn't that perfect," I said. "It might seemed perfect but to me it wasn't, I guess. I mean if it was perfect I wouldn't be tempted on liking you, would it?"

"You do know Perrie has been sending me threats the whole morning" she said softly. My eyes widened as I said, "What?!"

"She's been sending direct messages at me the whole morning saying to stay away from you and that I'll pay for ever stealing you from her" she said looking down.

"She found you?!" I asked surprised.

"Well it wasn't that hard, seeing you tweeted me a couple of times before" she said rolling her eyes at me.

"Elaine, I'm so sorry. But we can get through this.." I encouraged.

"No, Zayn there is no 'we'. I didn't want this to happen okay? You're a celebrity, sooner or later the whole world will know you broke up with Perrie and it won't be hard for them to find me, just like it wasn't hard for Perrie." she paused before she continued. "They'll probably talk about me, and tell me that I'm a slut for ever getting between you and Perrie. Like everyone will say, you two are a perfect couple and I'm just the nobody who steals you from her."

"Elaine, don't say that" I said frowning staring at her.

"Zayn, I'm sorry but no, 'we' cannot happen. If you want the best for me, you would know that it's to stay away from me before my image gets broken and that it won't be just Perrie sending the hate" she said.

"Elaine-"

"Goodbye Zayn" she said hanging up as my screen went black. I tried calling again but it just ends up with voicemail. I groaned throwing my phone in the bed and kicking the chair beside me. It's all my fault, she's hurting because of me. I sighed as I slumped into bed not bothering to go back down with the others.
