Elaine's Point Of View

It was already close to sunset when we finished chatting with Pia and the boys. Zayn didn't come back ever since we talked. Meg asked where he was but when Louis checked he doesn't want to come out of his bedroom. The guys seems suspicious but I said that he was sleepy when we talked so they won't get any ideas.

"So who's sleeping over?" I asked as I put away my laptop.

"Not me, I have dinner with Migz' parents tonight" Sania said grinning going giddy on us. We rolled our eyes. I turned to the other two.

"Sorry, Elaine but I can't. I would love to, but can't." Meg said sighing. "I'm grounded, dad found the vodka and the shot glasses and let's just say he's not too happy about it, I'm lucky I even got out of the house this morning"

"It's okay, I guess. Sorry for being grounded" I said shrugging.

"Sucks to be you" Sania added. Meg sighed heavily.

"How about you Yesha?" I asked. I was wishing she could stay, I don't think I can sleep alone tonight after what happened with Zayn.

"Fine, I'll stay. Since you obviously need someone to talk to about what happened." she said getting her phone from her bag. "I just need to tell mom," I nodded as we usher Meg and Sania to the door.

"We'll see you tomorrow then?" I asked.

"Yup, that is if my dad is still in a good mood and he'll let me out, that said if I'm not at your house past noon, save me okay?" Meg said clapping my shoulders. I laughed and nodded.

"You're going to give me a ride home right?" Sania said turning to Meg.

"No love, I'm going to let you walk all the way to your house" Meg said sarcastically rolling her eyes. I twitched as she said "love".

"Right! My mom said yes, I can sleep over" Rayesha said appearing behind us.

"We should get going, Meg. Or I'll be late" Sania said frowning.

"Alright, alright. No need to get cranky" she said. They got on Meg's Lamborghini Aventador which was parked in my driveway.

"Her car never ceases to amaze me" Rayesha said as they drove off.

"She has the Lamborghini and she tells me I'm richer" I said smirking.

"So anyway, your parents are out right?" she asked. I nodded. My parents are on a business trip out of town for the weekend.

"Great! It's already like 4 days 'till Christmas and they're still working" Rayesha said sarcastically.

"Oh you know them, I'm used to it" I said shrugging.

"Damn, I'm hungry. Can we have early dinner tonight?" she asked, giving me puppy dog eyes.

"Fine," I said sighing. "Amelia, can you cook us dinner now?" I asked our maid as entered the kitchen.

"What would you like to have, miss?" she asked. I turned to Yesha and she grinned.

"Surprise us" she said shrugging.

After dinner we hung out in my room, Yesha was watching some volleyball game on TV while I was tweeting from my laptop.

I saw that I had new messages and I was afraid to open it, guessing it was Perrie again. It's not like I'm afraid of Perrie it's just somewhat annoying that she's blaming me for their break up. Although I know now she had every right to hate me, but still she can't just give me threats like this. It's so low for her. I finally had the guts to open it.

Direct Messages > Perrie Edwards

Perrie Edwards: Hey love, I'm not gonna stop until I'm sure you're out of Zayn's life. You'll pay for ever stealing him away from me. Stay away from him!

Perrie Edwards: Just because you think I won't know if you're communicating with him, you're wrong. I have connections & I will know if you two are talking.

Perrie Edwards: Stay away from him, dear or I will ruin you. It's not gonna be hard, just one tweet about you and you are as good as dead.

Perrie Edwards: You don't want the whole world to know you're a slut, do you?
I groaned as I read the tweets. Why does she hate me so much? Oh right because I "stole" her boyfriend. I didn't steal him! If I know that bantering with the guys would lead to this I wouldn't have said "nice to meet you" to them.

"Something wrong, Elaine?" Yesha asked approaching me and sitting beside me. She read the messages and she quickly frowned and glared at the screen.

"You know, let me reply to this bitch" Yesha said typing but I quickly stopped her.

"Yesha, no stop" I said pushing her hands away from the keyboard.

"Elaine, you're not just gonna sit there and take it all, are you?" she said looking at me, putting her hands on her hips. She looks like my mom when she's scolding me. I sighed.

"It's not worth it.." I said looking down.

"What are you talking about? You jeopardize your friendship with Zayn because of her. And I know you're keeping this to yourself but I know it hurts letting him go" she said. I faked laugh to make the mood more lighter.

"Yesha, you're saying it like Zayn's my boyfriend and I let him go" I said rolling my eyes.

"Well close enough" she said shrugging.

"It's for the best, Yesha. I'll reply to Perrie that I cut my connections with Zayn and I will never speak to him again" I said turning to my laptop. But Yesha quickly closed it before I could even typed.

"No, you're letting her win! Tell her to get a life and deal with it. It's not your fault they broke up. And while you're at it, make up with Zayn!" she ordered me.

"Yesha, it's my fault. Technically my fault. Zayn broke up with her because he liked me. I am to blame here, so it's just for the best that I cut my ties with Zayn" I argued.

"Hey it's not like you ordered Zayn to broke up with her. He made the decision, and yes maybe you were a part of the reason but she doesn't have the right to attack you like this and you know it" Yesha said crossing her arms, staring at me. I sighed, she's right.

"I won't reply to her, happy? But I won't make up with Zayn either" I said looking down.

"Elaine, maybe you don't like Zayn in a love thing kind of way, but I know he's special to you. You grown close every time we have these video chats" she said sitting beside me, her eyes evident of sympathy.

"He's not" I lied. "That's why it's this easy to erase him from my life" And with that I slumped to my bed, covering my head with a pillow and drifted off to sleep.

I woke up to the sound of "Don't Wake Me Up" by Chris Brown. I groaned as I slowly sat up and look for the source of the sound only to see it was from Rayesha's phone.

"Yesha, you're phone is ringing, make it stop" I said laying down again with a pillow over my head.

"What? Oh, sorry." I heard her say as the music stopped. "Forgot to turn of the alarm, ironic isn't it?" she said, I guess she was referring to the music. I didn't answer since I was trying to go back to sleep.

"Elaine, your phone is buzzing" she said after a few minutes. I groaned again, sitting up and getting my phone from my nightstand. I looked at the caller ID and it says Zayn Malik.

"So who is it?" Yesha asked looking over my phone. I rejected it and put my phone back to my nightstand.

"No one important" I said finally standing up since I was sure I won't get any more sleep.

"It's buzzing again, let me see!" Yesha said grabbing my phone, reading the Caller ID.

"It's Zayn, why don't you answer?" she said. I looked at her and saw she was about to accept the call, I quickly grabbed my phone before she can click it.

"Hey, what gives? Zayn was calling, it's only polite to answer" she said smirking.

"Didn't you listen last night? I'm erasing Zayn out of my life and answering his phone calls won't help" I said glaring at her.

"But Elaine, he's wasting money just to call you, you know international calls are expensive right now" she said.

"Ha, yeah right, whatever" I said as I felt my phone buzzing again in my hand. Yesha noticed and she smirked at me. I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"He'll get tired, trust me" I said.

"Uh huh, whatever you say, Elaine" she said amused as she head to the bathroom. I look at my phone with Zayn's name on it. I clicked "Reject" and put it back on my nightstand.

"You know you can't ignore him forever" Meg said to me. It was afternoon, and we were hanging at her house since her dad didn't let her go out. My phone was buzzing again for nth time, it was now annoying.

"I can. Watch me" I said pushing the reject button.

"Why can't you just answer the phone and talk to him?" she asked rolling her eyes at me.

"Yeah, that's a great idea. You should try it" Yesha said sarcastically. I checked my twitter through my phone and saw there was new messages, I look at them and saw all of them was from Perrie so I didn't bother reading.

"You know, Zayn and his girlfriend are perfect for each other" I said annoyed.

"Why's that?" Sania asked.

"They both don't know how to stop" I said rolling my eyes.

"I told you to reply to her!" Yesha said loudly.

"Want me to reply to her?" Meg said smirking.

"Shut up, guys. I'm not replying to her" I said.

"But you should though. Not replying means you're letting her get to you even though she isn't." Sania said shrugging. "And also erasing Zayn in your life wouldn't solve anything, it will just hurt both, you and him. It's already affecting him, sooner or later you'll feel it too"

"Yeah, Sania's right. You should give him a chance and if Perrie attacks you for it, who cares? We'll always here by your side. Even is she threatened to ruin you to the whole world just remember that we're always here for you and we'll make the world shut the fuck up if ever it attack you" Meg said grinning.

"Yup, and besides you have Zayn as your knight in shining armor, I'm sure he won't let anyone hurt you and don't forget us too" Yesha said winking. I got teary-eyed by their speeches. I wiped the tears and grinned at them.

"You guys are right. I shouldn't let Perrie or her threats come between Zayn and I. Zayn has grown onto me and he's special, and I don't wanna ruin our friendship" I said smiling.

"So now that you have come to a revelation, reply to her now!" Yesha said. I nodded and turned to my phone. Elaine Chance: Hi Perrie, I noticed you been sending me a lot of hate and I just want to make this clear. One, don't blame me for your break up.

Elaine Chance: It's not really my fault that Zayn broke up with you, it's not like I ordered him to break up so you have no right to attack me.

Elaine Chance: Two, I don't really care now if you're going to ruin me to the whole world, I'm not that easy to break, so try much harder.

Elaine Chance: And last I'm not cutting my ties with Zayn, he's a special friend to me and I'm not planning to give him up just because you said so.

Elaine Chance: So I hope you have a good day and stop threatening me because it won't work anymore.

MAy phone buzzed and look at the Caller ID, Zayn Malik. He was still calling.

"So are you gonna answer or not?" Sania asked smiling. I nodded as I went out of the house and sat in one of the benches in Meg's porch. I clicked accept and instantly Zayn's worried face pops out of my screen.

"Oh thank god, you answered now" he said. I couldn't help but giggle.

"Elaine? Why are you laughing?" he asked as his eyebrows furrow with confusion.

"It's nothing, I'm sorry for not answering your calls" I said.

"I was worried you wouldn't answer" he said.

"Well I wasn't but my friends convince me" I said smiling. He smiled at me but it quickly fades and was turned into a frown.

"I'm sorry for lying last night, I'm sorry if Perrie is attacking you because of me and I'm sorry if you're hurting because of me." he said.

"Zayn, don't be sorry. I should be the one saying sorry. I was stupid last night, the words I said, I wasn't thinking." I said frowning as well.

"Hey don't say that. I understand what you said last night, but I don't think pushing me away is a good idea. You do know I will just keep coming back for you" Zayn said smiling, winking at me. I laughed.

"Yeah, you did show that by calling me non-stop today" I said smiling.

"So we're not breaking up?" he asked grinning.

"You're saying it like we're a couple, Zayn" I said.

"Soon, love, soon" he said winking. I giggled.

"I'm not that easily impress, I'm very hard to get" I said smirking.

"And that's why I like you" he said. "I can call you love again now, can't I? Since you didn't complain"

"Yeah, okay whatever. If that's what you want" I said.

"Well I'm all overjoyed we're friends again now but what are we going to do with Perrie?" he asked. I grinned.

"Don't worry, love. I got that taken care of. I'm hoping my reply to her will make her shut up now" I said.

"What did you say?" he asked with raised eyebrows.

"That's for me to know and you to find out" I said smirking.

"I missed you, Elaine. Even though it was just a day that you ignored me, I still missed you" he said smiling at me, staring into my eyes. I was sure I turned red when he said that. I can't stopped myself from smiling as I reply, "I missed you too"
