Saturday 2.21.15 Hospitals
It's the day after my surgery and it will go down in history. I meant to write earlier but due to the intense abdominal pain, I'm unable to strain my mid-section. The incision was greater than they planned. That's all I've heard so far or that's all they're willing to disclose, including my parents.
After my mom helped me with a sponge bath and was told that I could leave tomorrow morning, she went home and I took a nap. Later, the nurse came in to check on me and it was then I decided to do a little blogging for distraction. But as I waited for my laptop to start something on the television caught my eye.
I saw flashes of One Direction across the screen and close ups of Zayn followed by a video clip of an ambulance. I quickly raised the volume only to hear the reporter announce a motorcycle accident. Zayn was rushed to the Royal Perth Hospital in Australia earlier today. The footage of the bike looked bad with pieces of metal scattered down the road and tire marks. According to a few witnesses, his bike skid over loose gravel and onto the opposite lane where he collided into an SUV.
One Direction was scheduled to fly to Asia but have canceled the first 3 shows, so far. They said no more about the condition he's in but I fear the worst. I can't imagine how the boys or Perrie must be handling this.
I've decided to give it a few days before I text Harry to ask how Zayn's doing. It's been a few months though. I'm hoping he'll answer with all feelings set aside.
