Chapter Twenty-Nine ღ
“Just don’t look” Diamond said.
“I’ll try” I say, truth is, I just wanted to tell Harry the truth, I start walking towards them.
“Don’t do anything stupid” Diamond said as we share one last look.
“Too late” I say under my breath.
“Sorry girl but you cant go in here” Andy said, I knew him from the pictures.
I turn and find paul “Paul, please” I beg.
“Hope, I cant” he said straight to my face.
“Five minutes, that’s all im asking, I need to tell him how I feel” I say “please” I beg.
“five minutes” he said as he let me through this door.
“Thank you!” I give him a small hug and rush inside.
“What do you think you’re doing!” Louis said pushing me into another door, I guess they have a private toilet…
“Louis,” I say but he interrupted me immediately.
“You know, Harry is finally healing up and now you show up?” he said with a disgusted tone.
“Louis just give me time to explain!” I almost shout.
“Why should I listen” he hisses at me.
“Because deep inside you know I wouldn’t do this to Harry” I say honestly. There were a few seconds of silence.
“Your reasoning must be really good” Louis said as he gave in.
“It all started when Harry came over for lunch. My mom recognized him and George didn’t but when we said the bands name he immediately knew who he was, so after we had a chat and they made Diamond leave Niall and I thought, I’m 18 what can they do? Well they tore me apart and told me everything I knew deep inside was true but I didn’t believe so I broke it off at first I was furious and I cut again but then I realized, I wasn’t cutting because of my mom, it was because of all the hate I was getting and I couldn’t bare the time apart and it was all crazy and so I thought cutting was the answer but then I came to the conclusion that my mom was right I couldn’t handle all of this I need some time off, so this is why I’m on this plane back home to LA and I just need Harry to know that this was affecting me and it has nothing to do with him or my parents, it has to do with me” I sigh, I said this nonstop. Louis facial expression was hard to read, I think he was surprised and worried. “Louis?” I say after a few seconds of silence.
“Wow.” He finally said “you need to tell him, but if he takes it the wrong way and stays worst don’t bother coming back.” He said. He was being harsh but I understand.. I had hurt his best mate.
“Thank you” I say unsure if I should hug him. He takes initiative and hugged me tight,
“I did miss you, by the way” he said as he smiled and let me go. I head out the toilet and walk towards Harry. Louis manages to get the other boys out to leave me and Harry alone.
He turns around and his mouth drops open “H-Hope?” he said unsure of what he was saying.
“Hey, Harry” I say in a really soft tone.
“What are you doing here, I thought you were very clear when you were ignoring me I didn’t even know if you were alive!” he shouted.
“Harry please, don’t take things this way!” I shout back.
“There is no other way!” he protested.
“We never needed to fight, we don’t need to fight now” I say lowering my tone.
“I stopped fighting with you in the past because I didn’t want to hurt you, but now that you hurt me first I could fight all night long.” He said arrogantly.
“Harry what happened to you?” I ask he was a totally different person.
“You did Hope you happened.” He said bluntly. “now if you would do me the favor and leave.” He said pointing at the door.
“Right” I say trying with all my strengths for the tears welling in my eyes not to fall. I rush out of their room. Paul tried calling me but I just ignored everyone and went to my seat, sat down and put my headphones on and ignored the world, though I could feel the tears falling down my cheeks. I let the time pass and slowly fall asleep, it was early in the morning for me and I probably would be jetlagged the next day.
I wake up with a pat on my shoulder. I open my eyes clear the dried tears from my face and look into the beautiful blue eyes that stood upon me. “Niall!” I say with my sleepy voice.
“Hai sleeping beauty” he said with a smile.
“How long was I asleep?” I asked unsure if he knew.
“I think for about three hours, it would be about 1:30pm” he said with a smile.
“oh, kay” there was a deadly silence “what are you doing here?” I finally ask.
“Louis told me you were in the plane” Niall said. I sighed, “he also told me what happened” he sighed this time.
“I figured” I say. And that’s when Diamond came in an joined. My mouth dropped and I turned to her she gave me a happy smile. “Spill” I look at both of them.
“Hum” Niall said.
“We’ve been talking for a few days” Diamond said.
“How?” I asked “how were you able too?”
“Dad thought I wasn’t serious with Niall because I told him and its true that we never went…you know…all the way…” she said awkwardly. “and so they weren’t on to me so much, plus I’m only sixteen they expect me to find another guy, so that’s why Andy was at home so much, so they would believe I was moving on.” She said. Andy was a guy that she started to spend time with, I always thought it was weird. “and so Niall thought I was acting really weird so we talked and we kind of are sneaking out” Diamond said.
“Why didn’t Harry do the same?” I say keeping my tears in.
“Harry has a lot of trust issues, I mean since he’s been hurt back in 2010 and all the drama, and his trusting was never the best and it takes time for him to forgive. It took him two years to forgive you the first time back in 2009 he told me how cold blooded you were and he came back for you” Niall said.
“I cant wait two years” I say as I sigh “I screwed up, I should’ve just told him how I felt..” I say.
“Di, babe can I talk to Hope alone?” Niall asked as she nodded and they shared a really quick peck on the lips and then Diamond left to their private room.
“How you holdin’ up” Niall said sitting beside me.
“Not good Niall” I say I could cry in front of him he was like my teddy bear,
“Hey calm down, its just a faze Harry goes through” Niall said.
“I know but…” he cut me off and pulled me into a hug. We stayed there for a while, we ate together and shared a few laughs. I ended up falling asleep on his shoulder in just a friendly way.
“She’s asleep” I could hear from the background.
“Did you talk to Harry?” that was Niall asking.
“I tried, he’s in denial..” I think that was Louis.
“Niall you have to head back” Paul said.
“I’m not leaving her, she’s my best friend and I’m not leaving her, when we leave I will have to but now I have a choice, and I choose to be by her side” Niall argued.
“Calm down mate” Louis said.
“She’s like my sister Lou I care for her” Niall said.
They continued when they left I finally whispered to his ear “You’re like a brother to me too” I say with a smile and then finally fall asleep he kissed the top of my head, he was the brother I’ve always wanted, though I missed Harry kissing me on the top of my head…
