"Hey Ty have you got any clothes I can borrow?" I asked him.

"I still have some of yours somewhere lemme look" he searched his room.

He handed me a big pile of clothes, I stared at them stunned he has so many of my clothes!

"You used to come here a lot" he shrugged.

I frowned "I'm sorry Ty, things just got complicated and then you all went".

"You pushed us away Kate".

"How?" I was generally curious.

"Your life came all about One Direction, they started hanging around with us. Then it got too crowded and you know me I don't like being popular or whatever".

"Neither do I, that hasn't changed".

"But you have, I don't think you realize it".

"I'm happier" I admitted, I never thought One Direction could actually make me happy.

"Are you really?"

"Yes" I said honestly. "Yes there are complications I know that, but happiness comes at a price" I shrugged.

"It shouldn't be like that" he shook his head.

"No it shouldn't but it is".

"Enough with this depressing talk" he laughed. "Let's watch films and chillax" he smiled.
"Okay fine". i smiled back

We settled down, I put on my shorts and a baggy top and pulled the duvet over me. He gave me his teddy bear which I loved to snuggle with.

In the morning I woke up nice and comfy I smiled stretching my arms. Tyler was still asleep so I walked around his house stretching my legs.

"Morning" His mum smiled at me.

"Morning Sandra" I smiled.

"Do you want some breakfast?" she asked.

"Yeah sure" I went and sat at the table.

"I've missed you coming round" she frowned.

"Me too".

"Before I forget happy birthday" she hugged me.

"Thanks" I smiled.

There was a knock at the door so Sandra left me to answer it. She came back seconds later telling me it was for me. I ran to the door and saw Jack standing there.

"Err Jack, aren't you a little early?" I laughed.

"I'm not picking you up now, I'm here to give you this" he handed me a box.

"Oh well thanks I'll see you later?"

"Yeah, happy birthday" he kissed me on the cheek.

"Thanks Jack" I nodded before shutting the door.

I ran up the stairs with the box and sat on Tyler's floor. He sat up on his bed and looked at the box.

"Oh who's the box from?"

"We shall see" I said before opening it.

I picked up the note and read it.

Here's a beautiful dress for a beautiful girl, I'll see you tonight. Happy birthday love H x

I blushed whilst smiling widely, I put down the note and looked at the dress, It was black covered with lace, it was amazing.

"Liam?" Tyler asked.

"Err no Harry" I corrected him.

"Oh, so tell me what's up with that?" he asked confused.

"It's complicated" I shrugged.

"I like complicated" he urged me to continue.

I sighed "I don't really know how to explain it. First there is Harry who is mega drama, very complicated who has lots to deal with. Then there is Liam no drama, peaceful and he makes me happy".

"Does Harry not make you happy?"

"No he makes me happy, but he also makes me unhappy".

"Why?"

"He makes it very hard for me, he brings me out of my comfort zone which I like, but he keeps pushing me away".

"Well who do you want to be with?"

"Liam" I nodded.

"Are you sure about that?" he eyed me suspiciously.

The truth was I didn't know what I wanted, I needed to go with what felt right I suppose. But I don't want to hurt anyone and I know that's what I will do.
