I never really thought I would like living by myself, but it turns out I actually quite like it. I love being alone, it means I can only rely on myself. I groaned at the realization that it was Ashley's party tomorrow. How many parties does she want to throw? I've decided to wear myblue flowery dress to school, I haven't worn it in so long.

Mrs Perkins met me before school.

"Morris, I believe we need to have a discussion don't you?" she asked sternly.

"Seriously?" I shouted. "My name is Kate".

"Okay Kate, what was that all about yesterday?"

"Nothing" I shrugged.

"Well maybe you can discuss it in detention on Monday after school" she smiled.

Oh what a spiteful bitch. "Sure" I said bluntly

I smiled awkwardly at her before walking off, I was happy that my first lesson was a drama free lesson. I met Tyler at the beginning, he didn't speak to me but I continued to bug him until he did.

"What is going on?" I asked.

"You've decided to ditch all your friends, for what popularity?" he tilted his head.

I laughed loudly "If you were my friend, then you would know full well that I don't give two shits about that" I said coldly.

"Really because I thought you hated One Direction now what you're best buds?"

"They're good guys why do you find that so hard to believe?" I moaned.

"Because you were the one who told me they weren't remember?" he said dryly.

"I may have misjudged them, I admit I was wrong are you happy now?"

"Not really, look when you decide who you're true friends are come let me know" he said leaving the table and sitting somewhere else.

"Ugh.." I shouted chucking my book on the floor.

"Someone's not in a good mood" Louis joked sitting down next to me.

I put my head in my hands, focusing on my breathing.

Louis huffed "Look Morris, I know everything's shit at the moment. But you have us" he smiled.

"Us?" I asked lifting my head up to look at him.

"We One Direction boys really do like you, Morris" he smiled widely.

"That's the problem" I moaned. "Because everyone seems to think all I want is to be popular so I'm hanging around with you guys".

"Why do you care what people think?"

"You sound a lot like Harry" I groaned.

"He may be an ass, but he's pretty clever" he laughed.

I shrugged "I don't get you".

"What do you mean?" he asked tilting his head.

"Well when I first met you, you were a dick, worse than Harry. Then all of a sudden you changed" I said cautiously.

"It's how I am with new people, I didn't want you to hurt Harry. I never even thought that he could hurt you as well for which I am sorry about" he frowned.

"It's not your fault, it's no one's fault".

"I like you Morris, you're actually the only girl I like in this college, well as a friend I mean" he laughed.

I rolled my eyes "Gee thanks Lou" I said sarcastically.

"I didn't mean that in a bad way, I mean you're hot believe me. But I would never do anything to ruin our friendship you're a nice girl" he smiled.

"Well thanks you're not so bad yourself" I laughed.

"Listen Niall, Zayn and I were planning on skipping next lesson, want to join us?"

"Sure" I smiled.

After lesson Louis directed me outside of school into a park. I saw Niall, Zayn, Liam and Harry sitting on the grass.

"I thought it was just you three?" I asked awkwardly.

"This isn't a setup I swear, I thought it would be us four" he patted me on the back.

"I don't think I'm welcome here, I should just go to lesson" I turned around.

"No" he half shouted. "Please stay" he gave me a reassuring smile.

"Okay fine" I said bluntly before walking over with him.

I smiled at them all before sitting down on the grass in front of them.

"Can we talk?" Harry asked me.

"Err yeah sure" I shrugged getting up and following him.

"I just wanted to apologize for yesterday I was pissed off, and what I said was way out of line" he looked down at the floor.

"Well I'm sorry for pushing you" I faked my best smile.

"I don't want it to be like this with us" he frowned.

"Well maybe if you stop acting like an asshole it won't be" I said coldly.

"I deserve that, look I still care about you nothing has changed. Maybe we could be friends?" he asked looking hopeful.

"You really think we can be friends after everything?" I asked.

"I don't know, but it can't be as worse as this" he shrugged.

"I will try" I couldn't promise anything, it still pains my heart every time I think of him.

We both went and sat down next to the others, they were busy talking about Ashley's party.

"We need to spice things up a little don't you think?" Louis asked exited.

"How do you mean?" Zayn looked at him with curiosity.

"I don't know we could turn up in fancy dress?" Niall asked.

"Way to go with spicing things up, Niall" I laughed.

"Well do you have any better idea's Morris?" he tilted his head to the side waiting for an answer.

"No, I thought I'd just give comments" I shrugged smiling.

"You can't make comments if you don't participate in the idea's smart ass" Niall rolled his eyes.

"How about we go in our underwear?" Louis asked.

"Yeah" Zayn shouted.

"Please tell me you are joking" I asked embarrassed.

"Does it look like this beautiful face is joking?" Louis pointed to his face.

"It is a lot different going in their underwear for a girl" I shrieked.

"Okay why don't you wear one of our boxers, and erm a bra?" Zayn asked smiling.

"People will look at me like I'm a slut" I said agitated.

"Morris you need to learn something, stop caring about what everyone else thinks" Zayn shook his head.

I closed my eyes "Okay fine" I said giving in.

"Then that's settled then" Niall clapped his hands. "You can wear a pair of my boxers if you would like" he joked winking at me.

"You still have that pair I gave you once right?" Harry butted in.

"Yeah I think so" I said awkwardly.

"Why don't you wear them?" he asked.

"I think they're actually at yours, I sort of left some stuff" I shrugged.

"Then why don't you come to mine before?" he smiled.

"No I do..."

Niall interrupted me "To be honest Morris, it may be a good idea getting ready with him. I won't be hurt I promise you can make it up to me sometime" he smiled.

"But..."

"Then it's all sorted" Harry smiled making my eyes roll.

I turned to face Liam "Before I forget what time on Sunday?" I asked.

"I don't know how about 1?" he smiled.

"Yeah okay, we could rent a movie or something" I shrugged.

"Sounds good" he nodded his head.

"Liam can I talk to you for a minute?" Harry asked getting up off the grass.

"Yeah sure" he smiled before following him.

I turned my attention away from them and back to the plans for Ashley.

"We should all wear makeup" Zayn smiled.

"Are you trying to tell us something Zayn?" I joked, he laughed slapping my arm.

"I agree Zayn is a girl, but I do think that's a cool idea" Louis added.

We were then joined by Liam and Harry. Liam sat awkwardly beside me, looking in any direction but mine. After they all left I pulled Liam aside.

"What did Harry say to you?" I asked annoyed.

"Nothing important" he shrugged.

"Okay then" I nodded before walking off.

Why does everyone have to lie to me? I thought Liam was the honest one...
