They Don't Know About Us

Chapter 15

*Justice's P.O.V*
“No, no, no!” I chanted as Harry continued to tightly hold my hand pulling me towards the exit of the London airport. I was completely fine when we woke in the morning and flew from LAX. As soon as we landed in London I was a petrified wreck.
“Justice,” Harry groaned. He didn't even bother to look back as I attempted to pull out of his hold. “Come on. You'll be fine.”
“You can't make me!” I protested. I was being ridiculous as I planted my weight on my feet effectively stopping Harry's steps.
He looked back at me with an expression mixed with annoyance and humor. “What's wrong?”
“I don't want to meet your mom.” I blurted not registering how bad that sounded. Harry clearly understood what I was saying because he tilted his head motioning for me to continue. “What if she doesn't like me? What if she doesn't think I'm good enough for you? What if I embarrass myself? Oh my gosh what if she tells you to break up with me?” I gasped with wide eyes. Harry blinked several times while staring at me blankly. Without warning he yanked me forward as if I weighed nothing and placed his large hands on my face.
“Justice, you're worrying for nothing.” He spoke soft and slow, well slower than he already does. “I wouldn't have asked you to come if there was any chance of any of that happening.” He looked directly into my eyes.
I held his gaze before sighing. “You're right.” I agreed with a nod. Harry stepped back letting go of me but keeping a hold of my hand. Hand and hand we walked out of the airport.
“Twice,” Harry chuckled as we walked to the waiting car.
“What?” I asked looking over at him with my eyebrows raised.
“I've been right twice.” He informed me with a smug grin. I rolled my eyes fighting my smile.

HARRY STYLES' GIRLFRIEND IS IN LONDON
We've Got Prime Jarry Pictures
Yesterday the 1D lads returned home for the premiere of their documentary movie This Is Us (out in two days). Amongst the boys and their team were a few select guests, one in particular being Harry's recently confirmed American girlfriend Justice Neloms. The curly lad and his lady were spotted leaving the airport with smiles on their faces as they walked hand-in-hand.
This all comes after Justice and Sophia Smith (Liam's girlfriend who isn't Danielle) were basically mobbed by fans while in LA. Both girls took to Twitter with Sophia tweeting, “LA is an interesting place.” Justice quoted her and added, “A scary and interesting place.”
¼ of One Direction are taken. Are you thinking what were thinking? QUADRUPLE DATES! Let us know what you think. Comment below.
@JayQuin94: The fact that @Sugarscape knows my name... :D
I sent the tweet while I was supposed to be doing my hair. Harry wanted to show me around London since this would probably be the only opportunity while I was here. I was dressed in floral print skinnies, powder pink camisole, light jean vest, and black combat boots. The only thing left for me to do was my hair and make-up. Not that I typically wore make-up. It was more like eyeliner and lip gloss. After doing a braid across the front of my head and pulling the rest of my curly hair into a rakishly messy bun, I applied minimum eyeliner and bare lip gloss. Looking at my reflection I was satisfied with my appearance. Walking out of the bathroom of Harry's very nice home (it was ridiculous that his house was this nice and he was the only one living here, plus he was hardly ever here), I found him in the kitchen wearing black skinny jeans, black t-shirt, and his favorite brown boots.
“Ready?” He asked as the stainless steel refrigerator closed behind him.
“Yep,” I nodded picking up my cell phone. There was notification from Twitter and I went ahead and checked it.
@Sugarscape: @JayQuin94 it's our job to know your name. We love you!”
I took in a sharp breath causing Harry to look up at me. “What's wrong?” He asked at my astounded facial expression. “Is it the fans?” He immediately worried. I shook my head. “Media?” He asked. I nodded not able to speak at the moment. “Whatever they said isn't true. We've talked about this.” He assured me as he moved around the island to see what I was looking at.
“Su-Sugarscape tweeted me.” I managed to say. “Not only do they know my name, but they tweeted me.”
Harry's concerned expression immediately disappeared. “They're just another rag. It's their job.”
“No, you don't understand. They're the most honest news source. If I could work for them, I would. I read their articles almost religiously.”
“Why?” He asked looking not at all pleased.
“Why? Because they're the best. How could you not like them?” I responded with a slight smile on my lips.
Harry gave me a look of disbelief. “Because they're always invading my personal life. They're being nice to you now, but trust me they will exploit you quicker than you realize.”
“Harry...” I took a step towards him.
He stepped back. “No, I just... I don't get it. You joke about meeting celebrities, you get excited about talking to Perrie, and I brush it off because it's clear that you're joking. But this isn't okay.”
“What isn't okay?” I asked attempting to get close to him once again.
“The fact that you're one of them.” He blurted. I stopped short. “You think our lives are for your entertainment.”
A scuffed sounded from my mouth as I shook my head. “Wow. Maybe I want to write a fashion column. Maybe I want to work on the movie premiers and things like that. Or maybe, just maybe, I want to write about the different charity events celebrities do because I think it's pretty admirable that anyone would be willing to dedicate time and/or money to a cause. Did you think about that? No, because you automatically assumed the worse.” I was getting angry. “Sure, I may talk about my completely innocent girl crush on Selena a little too much, but it's all a big joke. Clearly I'm not gay. I don't care that you happen to be famous Harry. Actually I would probably like you a lot more if you weren't.” With my arms folded across my chest I turned to walk away. I wasn't sure where I was going, but I had to get out of that kitchen.
~~*~~
*Harry's P.O.V*
I watched as Justice turned and walked away. Mentally I called out to her, but physically I did nothing. Running a hand through my hair I looked around the kitchen confused. What had happened? One minute we were getting ready to spend the day together and now she was mad.
Walking out of the kitchen I immediately went to the living room hoping to find her sitting on the couch messaging Katie about how much of an ass I was. She wasn't there.
“Justice?” I called leaving the room and trying to think of where she could be hiding. “Love?” I walked up the stairs after getting no response. My feet carried me to my room where the door was ajar, Justice sat on the floor leaning against the foot of my bed. Her knees were drawn into her chest and her chin rested on her knees. Her eyes were angry and ablaze as I walked into the room cautiously. “I-”
She cut me off with the shake of her head. “Don't apologize if you don't mean it.”
I walked into the room taking a seat beside her on the floor. “I'm sorry love.” I genuinely apologized. “I shouldn't have said that.”
“Do you not trust me?” She asked suddenly taking my off guard.
“What?” I asked in bewilderment turning to look at her.
“For you to even think for a second that I'm like any of the awful people who most likely make your job harder than it has to be, just makes me think that you don't trust me.” She shrugged her shoulders, “I mean, I guess I can't blame you. If the roles were reversed I probably wouldn't trust a fan that I meet off the street and took a liking to for some odd reason.”
“I do trust you.” I stopped her. “It's why I fancy you.”
“And here I thought it was my fantastic personality.” She sarcastically remarked.
My eyes rolled, “What I mean is that I trusted you from the first time we met.”
Justice folded her arms and lowered her legs. “Then why did you say...”
“I was bothered.” I admitted. The quicker this ended the happier we would both be.
“You could have just told me that.” Justice snorted getting annoyed.
“I know. I really am sorry. I-” I stopped myself. Was I really about to say those three words? No, it's too soon for that Harry. “I hope you're not mad.”
She sighed, “I guess I can forgive you.” She rolled her eyes dramatically.
“Thanks,” I spoke softly leaning in for a kiss. Justice obliged scooting closer to me. The kiss lingered. My arms wrapped around her waist as I pulled her closer. She placed a hand on my shoulder. I pulled away, “Do you want to go sight-seeing?” I asked in a husky voice.
“Or we could do something else.” Justice wagged her eyebrows. I chuckled kissing her while I pulled the both of us onto our feet. We stood lip locked momentarily before I began to take steps forward. The back of her legs hit my bed and she giggled. I pressed against her causing her both to fall. My shoes were kicked off while we continued to kiss. Her arms locked around my neck before she pulled away. “You know what makes a make-out session really good?” She asked in a thick voice.
“Mmm, no, what?” I asked playing along.
“You losing your shirt.” Her hands toyed with the bottom of the t-shirt I wore.
I smirked, “I think that can be arranged.” I pulled away slowly pulling up my shirt. It was teasing move but Justice rolled her eyes and sat up.
“On second thought maybe walking around London wouldn't be so bad.” She murmured moving to get off the bed. I reached out and grabbed her pulling her back. She squealed barely fighting her smiled as I smirked and kissed her neck. “Okay... Now if you keep this up you'll definitely be forgiven.” She murmured daintily running her fingers through my hair.
“That's my plan.” I responded in between planting kisses.
“Mmm, I think I like this plan.” Justice murmured.

*Justice's P.O.V*
Maybe it wasn't romantically planned, but my first time with Harry was definitely special. It wasn't my first time having sex, but I wish it had been because he actually took time to make sure I was enjoying it. Harry plastered kisses from my lips to my belly button and back. He murmured sweet nothings in my ear and all the while he was a perfect gentlemen.
“If we leave now we can make use of the last few hours of daylight.” Harry informed me as we lay in each others arms pecking one another lips.
“Okay,” I agreed. “That means we have to get out of this bed.” I reminded him. His grip tightened around my waist.
“I don't wanna.” He spoke as his lips moved to my neck.
I giggled, “H-Harry... C-come on we need too...” I sucked in a sharp breath as the kiss turning into a pulling sensation and I knew that he was adding another mark for me to cover. “We can always go out tomorrow.” Harry chuckled against my skin before he cell phone loudly vibrated on the night stand.
“Ignore it,” He murmured in my ear. “We're not done yet.” He kissed my lips while my eyes fluttered close. My hands were placed on his bare chest as his held my naked hips. The phone continue vibrate. Whoever was calling him was awfully persistent. “Ugh,” Harry groaned pulling away enough to reach over for his phone. “Hello?” He nearly growled. “Oh, hi, what's up?” He paused listening to the other person. “Yeah, I know that's still the plan.” He pushed away the cover getting out of the bed and pulling on his underwear. While he talked I grabbed his shirt pulling it over my head and bundled my clothes into my arms. Walking to my suitcase I unzipped it tossing the clothes on the side for dirty laundry and wondering what I would wear. Harry warned me that it gets cooler at night.
“Do you think I'll need a jacket?” I asked shuffling through my clothes. Harry was too busy on the phone to answer right away.
“Yeah, okay, we'll be there.” He agreed to whomever he was talking to. “Bye.” He ended the call turning to me. “I'm going to shower.” He announced. I nodded waving him off. Eventually I settled on gray and black patterned Harlem pants with a red long sleeve crop top and black suede wedges. Harry was in the en suite showering so I ventured off to another bathroom to wash away the scent of our previous activities.

We made our way around London going from tourist attraction to tourist attraction. I think Harry enjoyed seeing me get excited more than actually going to the different places. It was now night time and chilly as we made our way back to Harry's Range Rover. For the most part paparazzi and fans hadn't been a problem.
“So where to next?” I asked after he walked around to the driver's side.
“There's one more stop.” Harry spoke as he drove. The longer we were in the car, the quicker it became clear that we were no longer in London.
“Where are we going?” I asked looking out of the windows as the world transitioned from a bustling city to busy suburbans. Harry chuckled not answering my question. I was getting suspicious. My suspicions only intensified when we turned into what appeared to be a neighborhood. “Harry...?” I warily questioned. “Where are we?” He parked in front of a brick two story house. The door opened and a familiar girl stood on the small porch. She looked to be a few years older than me. Two and two connected and I realized it was Gemma. I gasped, “Are we at your mum's?” I asked. “We aren't supposed to come here until tomorrow.”
“About that...” Harry trailed as he got out of the car and walked to the passenger side. He opened the door for me taking in my horror struck expression. I couldn't meet his mum today. I wasn't ready. “Come on love.” Harry urged me forward greeting his sister with a warm hug. “Gemma this is Justice. Justice this is my sister Gemma.”
“It's nice to finally meet you.” She smiled.
“You too,” I returned the smile relaxing slightly. I had spoken to Gemma plenty of times on the phone. We hugged before the two of them led me into the house.
“Mum!” Gemma excitedly called out. “Harry's here!” She announced smiling.
“I'm coming,” a distant voice said. I tensed. Oh no. Here was the moment of truth. I was about to meet his mum.
“I can't do this.” I whined. Harry chuckled while his sister told me that I would be fine. What felt like hours later the woman responsible for the boy who was making me fall for him more and more each day appeared.
“Hey Mum,” Harry went to her hugging her first. He looked back at me with a smirk. “I've got someone special I want you to meet.” My heart fluttered. He called me someone special. “This is my girlfriend, Justice. Justice this is my mum, Anne.” Harry introduced us.
“I'm so happy to meet you. Gemma always tells me that you two talk on the phone and Harry is smitten with you.” Anne gave me a warm smile.
I blushed, “It's nice to meet you too.” My voice came out a lot shakier than I thought it would.
“She's just a little nervous.” Gemma joked as we all took a seat in the living room. “So why didn't you two come over earlier, Harry?”
Harry cleared his throat, “We got distracted.” He vaguely answered. I felt my eyes widen and my cheeks heat and quickly checked my facial expression. Harry gave me a side-eye glance as he fought a grin. This was awkward.
“Robin's out right now, but he should be back soon.” Anne informed her son. He nodded and she turned her attention to me. “Justice, where exactly are you from?”
I pursed my lips taking a gulp before answering. “I'm from the South, Alabama to be exact.” I answered in the least Southern accent ever. It was just how I talked. I tended to sound more Malibu Barbie rather than Redneck Sally.
“And you're in university?”
“Yes, I'm a pre-law major.”
“Do you want to be a lawyer?”
“Yes, I'm hoping to go Ivy League.”
“Geesh Mum don't interrogate her.” Gemma laughed.
Anne fumbled for words. “I'm just trying to get to know her.”
“You being overprotective.” Harry teased with light eyes. It was so cute seeing him around his mum.
“It's my job.” Anne shrugged. “I'm sorry if I made you uncomfortable.” She offered an apology.
I declined it, “It's fine.” What mother wouldn't ask her son's girlfriend a thousand questions? None that I could think of.
The rest of the night went by smoothly. Anne loosened up to me and I relaxed. When Robin came he was just as friendly. We all talked and shared laughs. Before I knew it we were leaving for Harry's house. We planned to have lunch tomorrow with Gemma promising to pick me up.
In the morning I woke up alone. Harry had promotion stuff with the rest of the guys. I showered and got dressed. Gemma showed up around eleven. We met her mom at some cafe type restaurant that they loved to go to. It was nice and I felt comfortable around them.
“What are you wearing to the premiere tomorrow?” Gemma asked.
“I really don't know.” I admitted. “I need to find something, because I'm pretty sure nothing I packed is good enough.”
“Why don't you girls go shopping?” Anne suggested. I started to protest but she shook her head. “We're done here. Besides I told Robin I would meet him after our lunch.”
Gemma smiled, “Yeah, let's go. We can help each other.” I agreed and after paying we left.
Shopping in London was expensive I was quickly learning as I looked through the numerous choices. Not only that, but nothing had caught my eye. I was ready to give up.
“Ugh, none of this looks right for me.” I groaned.
Gemma looked over at me with a black hanger in her hand. “I'll help.” She offered.
I shook my head. “No, you have to find something too and it would be selfish of me to ask you to stop looking for yourself just because I'm indecisive.”
She laughed, “It's fine. I've found something anyways.” My shoulders shrugged. “What are you looking for?”
“Well, I don't really want to draw any attention for starters.” I told her. My plan was to look cute and understated.
Within thirty minutes Gemma held up a black cut out mesh peplum dress. “What about this?” She asked. “It's cute and understated.” She used my words from earlier.
“I'll try it on.” I agreed taking the dress and making my way to the fitting room. It fit perfectly accentuating my curves. The peek-a-boo cut outs exposed the just the right amount of skin on my sides. That meant that one of my tattoos was exposed, but it actually worked with the dressed. Excitedly I stepped out of the fitting room so Gemma could see.
“Yes, I like that. You look hot and I do mean hot.” She complimented.
“Cute and understated, right?” I asked with a smile as I looked myself over in the large mirror.
Gemma shook her head, “There's nothing understated about that.”

*Harry's P.O.V*
It was the day of our movie premiere. We were all excited about it. All of our friends and families were coming. There was a large red carpet, photographers, fans, and all that jazz. I procrastinated with Robin majority of the day while Justice was out with my mum and Gemma. Two hours before we had to leave for the movie theater, they came bursting through the door.
“Hi!” Was the brief greeting I got as the three women in my life disappeared. I looked over at Robin to see that we wore the same curious expression. My shoulders shrugged as I figured it was time to start getting ready.
“Aw, you're so handsome.” My mum smiled over an hour later as we were getting ready to leave. I thanked her aimlessly looking around. Gemma and Justice were still upstairs getting ready I assumed. On cue my energetic sister came bounding down the stairs.
“I did not realize what time it was.” She let out in a rush as she ran a hand through her hair. “Justice come on we're waiting on you!” She called out as my mum shook her head clearly amused.
“At least they get on well.” She joked as hurried steps were heard.
“I'm moving as fast as I can. These shoes you picked are seriously inconvenient.” Justice's voice reached us before she did. My eyes widened as they landed on her. She looked beautiful. A smile pulled at my lips as she looked away from bickering with my sister to me. Justice took a pause caught off guard by my admiring.
“Geesh, close you mouth Haz or you'll catch flies.” Gemma hit the bottom of my chin causing my cheeks to reddened as Justice fought a smile.
I cleared my throat looking away. “Uh, yeah, we should... We should go.” I waited for Justice before following my family outside where the car sent by management was waiting. The drive was consumed by laughter and conversation as we rode to the theater. Before we were allowed out of the car, a member of the management team came to remind me of what was expected. I was to walk the carpet, talk to various interviewers, take pictures with the lads, and all the the stuff we typically had to do.
“Right, that's all.” I nodded my head as the car stopped at the entrance of the red carpet and the driver walked around to open the door. Reaching back for Justice's hand I could feel that it was clenched tightly as her side with nerves. I looked back at her curiously.
“I think I'm just going to stay back with your mum and Gemma. You know, let you do your thing.” She offered in a nearly shaky voice.
My eyes rolled, “There's no reason for you to be nervous.” I assured her.
She shook her head adamantly. “I don't like large crowds looking at me.”
Gemma laughed, “Well then you're dating the wrong person.” She joked as our mum nudged her side to shush her.
“I can't say they won't look at you, but the crowd isn't all that large.” I lied.
“You'll honestly be fine.” My mum added noticing the apprehension that still on my girlfriend's face.
“Just go without me like you would have if I wasn't here.” Justice encouraged. I was learning that she would try any excuse to get out of a situation that she didn't fancy. It could be entertaining to watch.
“I don't want to.” I replied simply reaching for her hand again and using force to take it in mine. “Let's go.” I began to get out of the large car as sounds of protest were heard. I ignored them smiling as I came into view and looking back at my pouting girlfriend. “You look adorable when you're upset.” I teased getting the reaction I wanted. Justice rolled her eyes as a smile tugged at her lips. I helped her step onto the carpet. Keeping a hold of her hand, I waved to the excited fans.
~~*~~
*Justice's P.O.V*
I stayed by Harry's side for the most allowing him to tow me along as he stopped to talk to various people I had never met. I nearly lost it when he introduced me to the Nick Grimshaw, Grimmy, but quickly collected myself upon remembering the 'Little Things' radio premiere and how long it took him to play the freaking song. When Harry had to join the rest of the boys I found myself looking around aimlessly wondering what to do.
“Justice!” A familiar voice squealed as the gorgeous Perrie waved me over in her elegant dress.
“Oh my gosh Perrie!” I squealed as we hugged each other. “I'm so happy to see a familiar face.”
She laughed, “Yeah, I asked Zayn if you would be here and he had no idea.”
“Well, that's Zayn.” I joked and we both laughed. Perrie turned to a dark haired woman I recognized from the internet.
“This is Zayn's mum, Tricia. Tricia this is Harry's girlfriend Justice.” The blonde singer introduced us.
I smiled, “It's nice to meet you.”
“It's nice to meet you too.” Tricia smiled. “My daughters are here somewhere, but I'm sure you'll meet them eventually.” She laughed lightly. A brunette girl with lightened hair and a small stature started our way followed by a curly haired girl who I completely adored.
“I love your hair.” I gushed to Leigh-Anne when she was in hearing range.
Leigh-Anne laughed, “Aw thank you. I love you're hair too. It's so curly.” I smiled at her compliment. We stood there talking for a few minutes before a gleam on Perrie's left hand caught my eyes causing them to widen. “Uh oh,” Leigh-Anne joked noticing my expression.
“Is that...” I trailed off pointing at Perrie's hand.
“It happened yesterday.” Jade laughed.
“Aw, wow, congratulations. Lemme see, lemme see, lemme see.” Perrie chuckled raising her hand to show off the beautiful ring. “Oh wow. It's so pretty.”
“Thank you,” she smiled a thousand watts.
“There you are!” Eleanor opened her hands as if she had finally found what she was looking for. “I've been searching for you all over.” She hugged Perrie and then me. “Ooh, you look both look great.”
“So do you.” I smiled looking past her to Sophia who looked as lost as I had when Harry disappeared. I waved my hands getting her attention and signaling for her to join us.
“Hi girls. There's so many people here.” Sophia greeted us. We all nodded.
“I told Zayn there's more people here than any awards show I've been to.” Perrie commented.
“Crazy isn't it?” I responded.
“We have to get a picture together.” Eleanor suggested. “This is so rare.” We all agreed looking around for someone to take the picture. Eventually a photographer found us and snapped several shots as we gathered together with our best smiles.
Eventually Harry came back and we went to take pictures in the photo booth. It started off pretty normal until he attacked me with a kiss causing me to laugh in surprise as the camera snapped. Harry said that was his favorite picture when we were seated in the theater. Katie constantly texted my phone warning me not to spoil the movie all while fishing for details. When the great movie ended the boys were congratulated by everyone. There was an after party afterward. It didn't last too long since the guys had an early morning flight.
On our way to the airport in the morning everyone was groggy. While waiting for the flight to take off I scrolled on the Twitter time line looking at the various links to articles about the premiere and reactions to Zayn and Perrie's engagement. Of course, in true One Direction fandom fashion, there were unnecessary comments.
@LirryShipper101: Justice and Sophia look like trolls. Liam and Harry can do so much better. #ThisIsUs
There was a photo set attached of Harry and I and Liam and Sophia. I sighed continuing to scroll, but the further I got the more hate I saw. One girl planned to apply at my university just so she could curse me out in person. It was all ridiculous, but it didn't bother me any less.
“You shouldn't read that.” Harry advised sliding my phone out of my hand.
“They say some pretty hateful things about a person they don't even know.” I muttered wrapping my arms around myself.
Harry pulled at my hand, “Ignore it. They're just angry for all the wrong reasons. You looked beautiful last night and you always do.” I scoffed at his words, but he wasn't giving up that easily. “I honestly couldn't ask for a better girlfriend Justice.”
“You know you're the nicest guy in the world.” I looked at him with a small smile.
Harry shrugged his broad shoulders, “I don't know about that, but thank you.”
“You're welcome.” We both leaned forward for a simple kiss. When we pulled apart I smiled as my cheeks heated and I looked down embarrassed. I don't know what it is, but Harry just had this power over me. It made me feel wanted.
