Chapter 14
*Niall’s POV*
I loved performing on stage. Singing in front of a lot of people and hearing them cheer and knowing that this could be the last time always made me sing better.
I loved living with these boys. Over the time in Simon’s house and here in the contestants’ house we became really good friends. We were like brothers and it felt like we grew up together.
I loved singing all the time. It has always been a big part of my life but now it felt like I could do that every day and forever.
And even though there were so many good things about the X-Factor, there was one major problem.
I missed Anna. A lot. We skyped and talked on the phone, but it wasn’t the same. As much as I loved singing in general, I loved singing with Anna even more. I missed hearing her sing will doing homework. I wasn’t in love with her or anything, but she was a really good friend and I haven’t really seen her since the amazing day we had in her tree house.
*Anna’s POV*
I loved seeing Niall on the TV screen. He looked happy when he was on stage. I watched all the video diaries to get to know the boys. I had to say, they all seemed very cool. But I missed Niall. I couldn’t go to one of the live shows because my mom didn’t allow me.
I felt bad and happy at the same time when Niall and the boys were kicked off the X-Factor. I was really sad for him, I know how much he wanted to win, but I was very happy to get him back. He said he’ll come home and lads would come with him, so that I could meet them.
I was excited to meet all the others, because Niall said they were cool and they were like brothers for him, so they had to be something special.
Suddenly the doorbell rang and dragged me back into reality. I yelled “I’ve got it” before I went to open the door.
I haven’t really seen him, because as soon as I opened the door he hugged me. He leaned down and whispered in my ear “I missed you.”
“I know” I said. “I missed you too.” That’s when I heard a fake cough and I let go of Niall.
He stepped aside and I could see four boys standing in the door all of them grinning like idiots.
“Boys! Behave!” Niall screamed out of the kitchen where he was hugging my mom and trying to steal some food.
The awkward silence that happened afterwards was cut off by me. “You don’t have to tell me who you are, I obviously know that” I said and smiled at them. “I’m…”
“You don’t have to tell us who you are either, we know it already. Niall told us so much about you” Louis said and grinned his stupid grin.
“Well then, come in” I said and watched the boys walk into my living room. As soon as they were in, Louis fell on the couch, Harry next to him, while Liam and Zayn stood there awkwardly.
“You guys can sit down if you want to, but you can also stand” I said, while walking to the kitchen, to get some food and bring Niall back with me again.
*Harry’s POV*
I felt like I knew more about Anna than I did about my sister. Niall talked a lot about her and what she was doing while we were on the X-Factor.
When Simon told us, he was going to sign us, we decided to only tell our parents and not tell anyone else, so that we could surprise them.
We decided to go to our friends and bring all of the boys and then tell them. We already told my and Louis friends, and now we had to tell Anna and Cat. But Cat wasn’t even there.
When Anna went into the kitchen, Liam just said “She’s pretty.”
We nodded in agreement and then went silent again.
Niall and Anna came back out of the kitchen and brought food with them.
“Oh, hey, food!” Louis screamed. We rolled our eyes and all took something to eat.
“So, where’s Cat?” Niall asked.
“At home, why?” Anna asked suspiciously.
“Can you call her and tell her to come over?”
“Yeah sure. But why should she come over?” Anna asked still not trusting Niall. “Just do it, please?” he begged.
“If you won’t do it, I’ll do it” I said. I don’t know why but she laughed at me.
“Yeah, sure” she said and handed me the phone.
“Are you serious?” I asked, kind of scared to call someone I don’t know.
“Yeah, come on!”
“Okay” I said and pressed the green button, because Anna had already dialled the number.
“Hello Anna” an overly excited Cat screamed into the phone right after she picked up.
“Hello Cat. This is not Anna, this is Harry” I said.
“I don’t know a Harry. And I didn’t know Anna knew a Harry” she said confused.
“Just come over to her house, will ya?” I asked.
“Okay. But if you’re some kind of kidnapper I’m gonna kill you” she said and hang up.
“You think she’s really coming?” I asked Anna.
“Probably. And if someone opens the door she doesn’t know she probably is going to kill him” Niall said and Anna laughed. “Yeah, probably.”
When the doorbell rang some minutes later, nothing was awkward anymore. We all laughed at Anna’s and Louis’ jokes.
Niall went to open the door. We heard someone squeal “NIAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALL” and then a loud bang. We all ran out of the living room and saw a perplexed Niall sit on ground and an overly excited Cat sitting next to them. Anna started laughing so hard that she nearly choked and the whole situation was so absurd that we all ended up laughing so hard that it hurt.
“What happened?” Anna asked, still laughing.
“She tried to hug me and then I fell and then she fell” Niall said, red like a tomato because of the laughing.
Anna’s mother came in and tried to calm us down. I don’t know how but we actually stopped laughing and went back to the living room.
“We’re here to tell you something” Liam said and looked serious.
“What” Cat and Anna said at the same time.
“Simon signed us. We’re going to make an album and we’re going on tour” Niall said.
Cat smiled at us, but Anna ran out of the room. Then out of the house. We could see here running in the woods.
“What the fuck was that?” Zayn asked.
