Chapter 10
*Niall’s POV*
I was extremely nervous, but I knew Anna was even more nervous so I had to play it cool. She was practically shaking.
“Niall, I don’t want to do this” she said and nearly stood up and walked out of the room.
“No, Anna, you are doing this, everything will be fine.”
A nice looking lady came in and took Anna with her to go on stage. I was allowed next to the stage so I could see and hear her sing.
During the conversation with the judges she looked like she was going to faint. But as soon as she started singing she was completely calm and she sang beautiful as always. She sang ‘Amelia’ by her favourite band Tonight Alive, that I was forced to listen to the last few weeks. It really wasn’t my style at all, I liked pop much better, but it was okay. She completely adored this band.
She sang a capella because Cat and I convinced her that she sounded amazing without any instruments and the judges should hear that.
And she wasn’t just sounding perfect but she also looked beautiful (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=98562941&.locale=de).
When she stopped the judges looked impressed and let her through. I could see how Anna lost all of the tension that was in her body before, and when she looked my direction she seemed to be genuinely happy.
I was starting to get really nervous as well. Anna came off the stage and hugged me tight and said “It’s not as bad as you think.” Then she smiled and pushed me a bit, so that I stumbled on stage.
*Anna’s POV*
I was still really nervous for Niall. I was through, yes, but I wouldn’t be able to continue without Niall. He was really nervous too and even though he sang well, not all of the judges were happy to let him through.
