*Anna’s POV*
We were both pretty down after we got kicked off after boot camp.
I knew how Niall felt and he knew how I felt so we were very good at comforting each other. Suddenly a woman came up to us and said she wanted to talk to Niall. I was very confused and then we were all called back and they read out four girls’ names and five boys’ names.
I saw Niall and four other guys go back on stage. All the others who were back with me in the room were confused. I was too.
I was deep in thought when suddenly I saw a very happy Niall run towards me. He hugged me tight and whispered in my ear “I’m through! They put us together, we’re a boy band now”.

*Niall’s POV*
I was really happy, when I heard the news. But in the evening when I was lying in my bed, it came to my head that Anna might be jealous. I knew she really wanted to get through and have the opportunity to show everyone that she could sing. But she seemed happy when I told her. I wasn’t sure what to do. Over the last few weeks Anna and I became really good friends, nearly best friends. I didn’t want her to be sad because I came through and she didn’t, but I also wanted her to be supportive, because I knew I needed her. I was scared to talk to her.
I tried avoiding her the next day, but she stood at my door at half past nine.
“Hey Niall” she screamed in my ear when I hugged her.
“Hey Anna” I said sleepy. “Calm down a bit okay, it’s really early.”
“No, it’s not. You’re just not awake yet” She said and grinned. “I have a surprised for you!”
I hated surprises.
“Come on, get dressed, I want to show you!” She pushed me into my room and then went out again so that I could change. I was happy because Anna seemed to be happy for me.
When I came out of my room, I saw my mom and Anna talking. I decided to tip-toe, so that I could hear what they were talking about.
“Where are you two going today?”
“Into the woods” Anna said proudly.
“Why?” my mom asked confused.
“Because I found a really pretty place a few years back, I and Cat built a tree house there. I want to show him” Anna said turned around because she heard me and pulled me out of the house.
She screamed “By Mrs Horan” and pulled me towards the wood that was behind my house
