Chapter 9
Sara's POV;
I ha mostly zoned out after our conversation. So much stuff had happened today, it was hard to wrap my head around. I zoned back in about 10 minutes later because I realized we should be back to my house by now.
I looked down and didnt recognize the town we were flying over. "Liam." I said, warily. He didnt answer, just kept flying. I began to panick. Was I being kidnapped?
He landed just outside a dark woods. I hopped off his back the second we hit the ground. "You said you were taking me home!" I yelled, scared.
"You can't go home. It's not safe for you." He replied calmly. Tears sprung to my eyes. "What about my mother? What about Clint! They're home, probably scared out of their minds looking for me." I yelled.
He looked at me sadly. "They don't remember you." He said quietly. My eyes grew huge. "Of...of course they do." I said, staring at him. He shook his head slowly.
"What do you mean!" I yelled. "We had to erase their memories of you. All of your family and friends. They don't think you ever exsisted." He said, not making eye contact with me.
Tears brimmed in my eyes, and began trickling down my cheeks. "Y-you monster." I stuttered, backing away. I was crying now, I couldn't stop. Why were they doing this to me?
"Sara please." Said Liam, taking a step forward looking sad. I shook my head. "Get away from me! They do remember me! You're lying!" I yelled.
"Sara, listen to me." He said. I shook my head furiously. "You're lying! They remember me! You're just going to kill me! But I won't let you!" I yelled, and turned to run.
He had to be lying! He had to be!
