Chapter 10
Liam's POV:
No! She couldn't go off alone. These woods, they were crawling with creatures like me and the boys. Mystics, vampires, werewolves, and many others. Some dangerous, some harmless. It was hard to tell.
We needed her. That's why we erased everyone who knew hers memory. We had to. It was the only way to make sure no one remembered her. There was no one to report her missing.
I know that sounds bad. We werent going to intentionally hurt her. We needed her powers. That was it.
Sara's POV;
I rushed through the woods, not looking back. I know Liam could catch me if he wanted to. I hoped he would just leave me alone forever. He had ruined my life.
Suddenly I ran into a tall figure. "Ooooff!" I huffed, falling stumbling backwards, but regaining my balance. I looked up at Zayn.
"Sara?" He said, confused. I didnt answer, I just stalked away. "What are you doing out here alone. Where Liam?" He asked, following me. "Leve me alone!" I barked at him.
"Sara. These woods are dangerous." He said worriedly. "I don't care." I snapped. "Where are you going?" He asked. "Away from this place. This town. You!" I snapped back.
"You shouldnt go alone.It's dangerous out there!" He told me. "Ill be a lot safer there than i am with you." I replied. I knew he was following me. I didnt care. He would eventually give up and leave me be.
Suddenly I stopped dead. A large purple creature with one eye blocked the path. Was that a Cyclopes? Like the ones from the fantasy books?
My immediate halt caused Zayn to crash into my back. "There are creatures humans dont know about." He said quietly. I gulped. If there were creatures like that out there, how on Erth was I still alive.
"Fortunately, most like humans. Think its funny how naive they are." Continued Zayn. I couldn't take my eyes of the Cyclopse. "C'mon." Said Zayn, grabbing my hand, and leading me forward.
"Where are you taking me?" I asked worriedly. "You'll be safe." Was all he replied. With that, I was lead right through the stone gate, passed the Cyclopse, and what appeared to he away from reality.
