Bad before good

I went upstairs. I was a little upset. I mean, Harry is going out with Taylor tonight. And people think that they are really going out. And I have to read all the bad things they say about me, and how Haylor was so much better than me and Harry. And see all the pictures on tumblr of Harry and Taylor. And dealing with all of that fake relationship will be exhausting and I am the kind of girl who hates all that drama. Ironic, right?

As I was dressing in my PJ's, Lucy entered my room.

"Your aunt let me in…" She said, letting the bag in her hand touch the floor. "Oh, I'm staying over" She said and smiled. She invited herself and I had no problem so I smiled and nodded in confirmation.

"Wanna watch a movie? I have Perks!" I offered, walking towards my laptop.

"No, I get too emotional. How about a comedy?" She suggested.

"Whatever floats your goat." I said and we laughed.

"What's going on ladies?" Leena said, entering my room. Her hair was in a pony tail, wearing leggings and a long sweater. She joined us on the bed.

"Beatrice Cold is spreading rumors that you and Richard snagged." Lucy informed Leena. But Leena didn't seem too upset.

"Ugh, who cares what Beatrice says." She said, then rolled her eyes.

"Who is Beatrice?" I asked confused. I just realized I really don't know many kids from our school. I don't know who's in my History class, let alone know others from different classes.

"She's in my Spanish class. Total bitch. Like, she said that Molly was like this lesbian psychopath who gets turned on by asian chicks." Leena shared, disgusted.

"Who's Molly?" I asked, again, confused.

"Oh yeah, I heard about that" Lucy said, both of them ignoring my question. "She just made a name for herself. Last year she was this nobody that tried to squeeze into any group of friends. But this summer she lost a lot of weight and started dating Michael." Lucy continued.

"Oh god, Michael?! Seriously?!" Leena asked in surprise.

"Who's Michael, who's Molly?! Can you two not ignore me!" I said, and they started to laugh. I was so clueless.

"Michael is this guy. He's in my Biology-" Lucy started, but Leena cut her off.

"He's this hot-headed jerk who thinks that ever girl in the school is in love with him. It's a little pathetic the way he always hit's on everyone" Leena explained.

"Ok, why don't I know any of these people?!" I asked, annoyed a bit.

"Because you have a famous boyfriend, and we have no life." Leena said and they started to laugh. I joined them.

"Yes, well now I no longer have a boyfriend. So you guys continue to gossip, I'll try to catch on." I said and laughed.

"Just because you guys are not public anymore, does not mean that you don't have a boyfriend." Lucy said, reaching for my hand to comfort me, and it worked. A smile spread across my face.

"What about you Lucy? Do you have like a crush or whatever?" Leena asked Lucy. It was a little uncomfortable for Lucy, considering the fact she liked Niall, and well…we all knew what happened with Leena and Niall.

"I don't know…no one in particular." She said, and smiled. But I could see right through that smile, although I didn't say anything.

"Well come on! I need a hobby. Let's find you a boyfriend" Said Leena.

"That's fine, really. I don't need one." She said, blushing a little.

"Nonsense! Jenna has Harry and I have Richard…well, I don't know if I do, our relationship is still developing. So until I know for certain, I will be on a mission to find you a boyfriend. Well, me and Jen, will be. Seeing as Harry is 'with' Taylor, she has spare time too. Right?" Leena said in one breath then turned to me for conformation. I slightly nodded, and a pleased smile appeared on Leena's face.

"Where is Harry tonight?" Lucy tried to change the subject.

"With Taylor" I said quietly, lowering my head.

"Oh, honey…" Leena worryingly put her hand on my shoulder. "Oh, I know!" She exploded all of a sudden "Let's follow them!" She bursted.

"No way! Do you know how bad it would be if someone sees us?! Really bad Leena." I said, immediately trying to change her mind.

"Don't worry. I've stalked my ex-boyfriends hundred's of times. We won't get caught." She said, reassuring me. But I still had a concerned grimace on my face.

Lucy started to laugh, and joined Leena's side. I think she only did that, so we won't try to help her find a boyfriend.

"No you guys. I'm not going. If you wan't you can go…" I said, smiling. It would be less of a disaster when they get caught without me.

"Well where's the fun in that? He's not my boyfriend." Lucy said.

"That's right, because you don't have one" I said, jokingly 'hurting' her.

"Oh yes, so sad" She whipped her nonexistent tears, and faked sobbing.

"Come on you guys!" Leena was still enthusiastically boosting us. "I am really bored." She stated.

"Well, in that case…no" I said. She frowned and her phone beeped in the exact moment.

"Ohhh, it's Richard." She said, opening her message and reading it. "Well, I have a date. Since you don't want to do anything fun, I am thinking of going." She said and got up.

"There is a good reason WHY we can't follow Taylor and Harry." I said.

"Yes because you just want to bore me to death. Smell ya later losers" She said and winked at us, exiting my room and entering her's.

"She will do great things." Lucy said, acting proud.

We talked for about half an hour when Richard rang the doorbell. She came running in my room with her heals, all dressed up.

"Open the door! Quickly!" She said, grabbing my hand and dragging me down.

"You're not ready?" I asked as I walked to the door.

"I am, just…make him wait" She said, and then ran back upstairs. Mom, Rob and aunt Anna were out, so we were alone.

"Hello" I opened the door.

"Um…Hi…I'm here to pick up Leena" He said. Lucy stood besides me.

"Leena's not a package" She said quietly and then giggled. I don't think he heard it, but I did and I started giggling too.

"Come in, she'll be down in a minute." I said and Richard came in.

"I'm Richard by the way. Are you Leena's younger sister?" He asked as he extended his hand to shake mine.

"No, we're pretty much the same age. I'm Jenna." I said, taking his hand for a short shake. He O-ed and then turned to Lucy.

"Hello Lucia. How are you." He said, smiling.

"For the last time, Richard. My name is Lucy." She said, frowning. He smiled. The awkward silence took it's place. A minute passed, and we stood silent.

"I'm gonna go get Leena" I said, escaping it and leaving Lucy and Richard downstairs.

"Hey" Leena said, as I entered her room. She was on her laptop.

"Um…Leena…your date is here?" I said, in a form of a question, to remind her.

"I'll be right down." She said, not moving.

"Leena, don't be a bitch!" I said, laughing. She got up, refreshed her lipstick and then went out. She slowly walked down the stairs. I knew she was feeling like a princess. And her prince waiting for her by the door.

"Sorry you had to wait Richard" She said, in a totally different voice. This one was more seductive and mature than her normal voice. She always pulled it off in front of boys. Apparently it made her more attractive and she took that in her advantage.

In few short minutes they left, and it was just me and Lucy. It was around 10:30.

"We are not gonna sleep are we?" Lucy said, as we went upstairs in my room.

"No, no" I said.

We talked for what seemed to be hours. Random stuff. About her attraction to Niall, the whole Haylor thing, about school and she told me the many gossips that were circling around the school hallways. We ordered pizza and cupcakes, and had a typical girl's night in.

"Hey, do you know a good place to work?" I asked her.

"Depends on what you like. Why?" She said.

"Well I was thinking…I need to fill my day with activities. Of course, until I get a call from the agency to go on auditions and stuff like that." I explained. She smiled, her dimples showing.

"Well I heard they are looking for waitresses in Cup in." She said.

"What's that?" I asked. I really didn't know anything or anyone in this city and I've been living here for a while now.

"It's the cafe that everyone from school goes. They make the best hot chocolate, and always serve it with a free muffin." She said.

"No, I don't want to be serving Britney or Chelsea some day…" I said, and she nodded.

"Well you could always go in the book store." She suggested.

"Where's that?" I asked.

"Oh, it's five minutes by foot from our school. It's really big. Maya used to work there-" She saw the confused look when she mentioned the girl "And of course you don't know who that is. Ok, she use to go to our school, she moved this summer to France to live with her uncle. She wants to go to university there, so she started to take french lessons, and then moved there so she would improve her french. You know, practice makes perfect. Anyway, I'm sure they would love an extra hand at the book store." She elaborated.

"Well, ok. I'll go tomorrow, to ask around. Come with?" I said.

"Yeah, definitely" She said, and nodded, smiling at me.

She was exhausted, and after that, went under the covers of my bed, and fell asleep instantly. I scrolled on my Dashboard on Tumblr, aimlessly.

After a good hour, or maybe two, my phone rang.

"Hello" I answered quickly not seeing the caller ID, whispering, so I won't wake Lucy up.

"Why are you whispering?" It was Harry. I recognized his voice.

"Lucy's sleeping." I said. "How'd your date go?" I was eager to know.

"Ok, I guess…I want to see you." He said. I smiled like an idiot, and then felt so good that he could not see that idiotic smile on my face.

"Tomorrow?" I suggested, putting my laptop on the floor, and stretching my legs on the window-seat.

"Look out your window." He said. I rapidly turned my head and saw a black car parked on the opposite side of the street, and a dark figure leaning on it. So he did see my idiotic smile. The person standing in the dark waved. I smiled again, and let out a slightly louder giggle than I should have had. I instantly turned to see if Lucy woke up, but she was sound asleep.

"Be down in a second" I said, and hung up the phone then exited my room quietly and got down to the door in seconds. I put on my Vans, because they were the first shoes I found, and opened the door, to find Harry's smiley face in front of me.

"Hello gorgeous." He said, and smiled. He was so adorable, I wanted to eat him. But i didn't. Instead, i got ahold of his hands and pulled him inside to close the front door, kicking my shoes off. We walked to the living room, and he sat on the soft couch. I laid down, all of my weight on him, my body pressed to his.

"Hi" I finally said, and softly kissed his lips. He smiled through out the short kiss, and when I pulled away, he pulled me back down, continuing the kiss. I giggled but didn't complain. I heard someone trying to unlock the door and immediately broke the kiss off.

"Open the fucking door" I heard Leena's voice. I went to the door and opened it, leaving Harry in the living room.

When Leena came in she was furious. She was really angry. If this was a cartoon, smoke would come out of her ears and she would be tomato red.

"Don't!" she instructed me so I won't ask her what's wrong. Harry came from the living room and joined us in the little hallway at the door. We both watched Leena angrily take of her heels.

"You ok, love?" Harry asked Leena, not hearing her 'Don't' when she came in.

"Oh, yeah, I'm perfect." She said sarcastically. "Just have one question for you" She said, pointing with her finger at Harry, as she started to take off her other heel, struggling with it.

"Shoot" Harry said, and tried to comfort her with a smile, but he didn't succeed.

"Why are you guys such jerks?!" She said loudly.

"Keep your voice down, Lucy's sleeping." I said, and she did as I said.

"Huh?! Why do you do this to girls?! Why do you ask them out, highlighting that it's a DATE, just to bury them in the dirt in your backyard?!" She said. Richard must have done something wrong. She didn't wait for Harry's answer and walked away to the kitchen, where we both followed her.

"What do you mean bury? He tried to…bury you?" I asked.

"No dear sweet Jenna. He broke up with me…Like we were in a relationship!" She said, angrily taking the ice cream out of the freezer and digging a big spoon in it.

"Did he really do that?!" Harry said in disbelieve.

"Oh yeah…he DUMPED me, even though we were not in a relationship. He ended it before it started!" She said furiously putting the spoon in her mouth. I know she was angry but in two days she would be laughing about this. I just laughed sooner. "Not funny Jenna!" She said, still angry.

Harry gave me a little nudge on the shoulder, so I would stop.

"Oh my god, Beatrice won't stop talking about it. She will be a constant reminder of what could have been a good relationship!" She said to herself, forgetting we were in the room.

"Come on Leena, earlier you said that Beatrice was a loser." I said, trying to comfort her in some way.

"She is…I'm not denying that" She said, and laughed a little. "You know what?! I don't care" She said. "I do not care if Richard is seeing someone else. I don't care that Beatrice will talk and spread rumors. I don't care. I won't be depressed about this…it's just a guy right?" She said, convincing herself in her own words before putting the ice cream in the freezer and throwing the spoon in the sink.

"There you go" Said Harry and smiled at her.

"I am going to take a long bubble bath. Goodbye" She said, and went upstairs. Harry started to laugh quietly

"Is she always like this about boys?" He asked me.

"You have no idea." I said and took his hand and leaded him to the living room.

We cuddled on the couch while the TV was quietly turned on. I was sleepy but didn't want to sleep. I entertained myself with his long fingers. Bending them in every way, letting out sound-effects and weird noises. He just chuckled at times. We didn't speak for a long while.

"Did you kiss?" I asked. It seemed like it was out of the blue, but I thought about it since the moment he called me earlier this evening.

"Does it matter?" He said. This confirmed my question. I just wanted to hear the simple 'yes'.

"Don't answer my question with a question." I said. He didn't say anything. "So…yes?" He kept quiet. "Oh…ok" I said, knowing that he kissed her.

"I'm sorry…" He said. I felt something in my stomach tingle. I had some kind of a feeling that he really meant that sorry. That he really was sorry for the date and everything. I rested my head on his chest, listening to his heart beat increasing.

"It's ok" I said, and smiled, comforting him, and calming him a bit.

"You know I love you, right?" He asked. He just wanted to remind me. Something I could never forget.

"I know." I said, and smiled again, hugging him tighter, my head still on his chest.

"You are my baby." He said, and kissed the top off my head. I giggled like an idiot, and he joined me.

But this just delayed the hurt. I was going to be forced to see pictures until this blows off. My mind tried to push out those thoughts out of my head.

"I would do anything for you" He said, in his raspy voice. While this sinked in me, he continued "Anything. And I promise, I would always keep you safe. Always" He said and laid another kiss in my hair. I smiled, not knowing what I should say.

"I love you" I said, quietly. Nothing else to say, really.

A smile grew on his face, but he was quickly distracted by the vibration from his phone. He got it out of his back pocket, and answered it, slightly getting up. I stood up and sat on the opposite site of the couch, my legs stretched all the way to his lap.

"Hello…Really?! Oh, well I'm at Jen's now…Yeah I'll be right there…you should've called…Yeah, I'll be there in 5 minutes…K, bye" He sounded thrilled.

"Happy news?" I said, wanting to know who was on the other end.

"My sister's in London. She thought she'd surprise me. I have to go. I'll see you tomorrow?" He said, but the question wasn't really a question. It was a statement. He kissed my cheek and in a minute he was in his car, driving away.

I locked the door and went to the living room to turn off the Tv, so I can head to bed, when I saw Harry's phone on the carpet. I took it with me upstairs and put it on the nightstand. I slowly got under the covers, trying not to wake Lucy up.

The last thing I heard was my parents and aunt Anna come in.

***

I heard talking. First I thought I was still sleeping, but it was actually Leena and Lucy. I didn't concentrate on their conversation, so I don't really know what they were saying until I heard Harry's name.

I immediately opened my eyes, and stretched sitting straight.

"Did you read?" Leena asked, impatient for my answer.

"Read what? What are you talking about?" I asked, still not fully awake.

"Messages, E-mails, anything?!" Leena quickly answered.

"Who's?" My eyes couldn't stay open.

"Oh for gods sake, Harry's of course!" Leena answered.

"No. I don't want to invade his privacy." I said tilting my head to the right, then falling all the way.

"You are such a goodie-goodie. If this was Richard's phone, I'd be all over it." She said, getting off and walking to her room.

"Did you guys read anything?" I asked curious. Lucy shook her head and smiled. Then she got up and went to the bathroom.

After she was done, I got in and took a quick shower. When we got downstairs, aunt Anna had made pancakes and we ate before we left for school.

Leena lied that she didn't have first period, so she stayed at home, while we walked to school.

On the way to school, we passed the book store, and it was open so we went inside.

"Hello girls, can I be of any help?" A blond girl approached us.

"Can I speak to the manager? Or.." I said, confused a little.

"Yeah sure." The girl smiled, then leaded us to the back room. "Scott, these girls want to speak to you"

A male, in his late thirties, came from behind the door, while the girl left us.

"Yes, can I help you?" He said, smiling.

"Hi. Um…I'm Jenna and well, I was wondering, do you need help around here?" I said, not knowing how to properly form my question.

"Are you asking to be hired?" He asked me, rephrasing my question. I nodded and smiled nervously. "Depends. Do you like books?"

"Yes." I said and smiled.

"How old are you?" He asked.

"16. Will be 17 in March." I answered.

"Are you free on mondays, wednesdays and thursdays? Around 3:30?" He asked again.

"Yeah, after school." I smiled.

"Are you an alcoholic, drug abuser, serial-killer and/or child rapist?" He asked. Me and Lucy laughed.

"No, none of the above." I said, laughing.

"Well, I think you qualify. You are hired. Do you want to start today, or from next week?" He said, smiling.

"I can start today. I'll be here after school" I said.

"Great, Althea will go over the basic with you later." He smiled and walked us to the door.

We continued our walk.

At school it was like any day. Boring as hell. It was pretty monotone, before 4th period. I had Advanced English. The class was really interesting because my teacher, Mr Gold was really cool. He was young and very smart. I loved his classes.

As I entered my room, he greeted me like usual, a little smile curved on his face. I smiled back and took my seat. My phone beeped, and I quickly got it out of my pocket, almost dropping it.

"Jen, you know the rules, no phones in class." Mr Gold scold me.

"Sorry, I forgot to turn it off" I said, but when I took my phone out I saw that it was already turned off. Realizing that Harry's phone beeped, I took it out of my bag and put it on vibrate. The message was from Taylor. I wanted to read it so badly, but I promised myself that I wouldn't. So, I put it back in my bag.

As the class started, I tried to concentrate, but it was hard with Harry's phone vibrating ever other minute. The phone vibrating between other things in my bag made a little noise, that was really annoying.

"Must be important." Mr Gold turned to me, his eyebrows were frowned.

"Sorry, can I-" I didn't finish my sentence when he interrupted me.

"Take it outside." He said, and smiled. I took the phone and got outside of the classroom.

All the messages were from Taylor. What the hell. I mean, why is she texting him that much?! I was eager to know what she wrote to him. I barely controlled myself. I was staring at the phone like a freak.

"It won't talk." I heard a familiar voice. I lifted my head to see a girl with red hair, my hight and evil smile.

"What are you doing here Lexi?!" I asked upset.

"Oh, I transferred. How neat, right? Now we get to see each other every day." She said, and smiled. It was a fake smile, although she faked it really good. She had a schedule in her hand.

"Why?" I asked, annoyance in my voice.

"My friends go here, silly. Is this Mt Gold's class? I was lost…" She said, being the old Lexi I once knew. It seemed almost unreal what she has done to me, and others. She seemed like a really nice girl. But I could see right through her, wasn't really that hard for me.

"Yeah.." I confirmed. She knocked on the classroom door and got in. I heard her apology why she was late, and then she closed the door, blocking the sound. I stared at the classroom door for few seconds when Harry's phone started to ring. It was Taylor. I immediately got upset again, not knowing if I should answer or not.

"Hello?" I answered finally after few rings.

"Um…Harry?" She asked confused.

"No, Harry forgot his phone." I said, trying to sound nice.

"Oh, well sorry. Could you tell him to give me a call later?" She was being friendly. I hated that.

"Yeah, of course." I said. We said goodbye after that, and I went inside the classroom.

I tried not to freak out because Lexi was in my school now. I was distracted, Mr Gold noticed but didn't say anything. As soon as I heard the bell ring, I stood up, and walked towards the door.

"Jen, could you stay a few minutes?" Mr Gold shouted a little, so I could hear him.

After everyone was out, it was just me and Mr Gold in the room.

"You ok?" He asked.

"Yeah. Why wouldn't I be?" I said, smiling. Which just confused him.

"Well after you came back from your long phone call, you seemed distracted." He said, leaning against the edge of his desk.

"Sorry about that. I don't' feel too good, that's all." I said. He nodded, buying my story.

"Well ok, try to be more focused next time, ok?" I nodded in conformation and he smiled at him.

I got out of the classroom and went towards my next class. The rest of the school day went ok, I tried to forget about Taylor calling Harry 300 times, and Lexi showing up in my school. Luckily, we only shared Advanced English, so I don't get to see her that often.

My last period was Art, which I firmly enjoyed. It got my mind off of things, and by the end of the class, I felt more relaxed than I was before. I tried to find Leena or Lexi, but there were to many people, and I wanted to go to work so I could get my silly training.

I walked towards the book store, when my phone rang.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Love, have you seen my phone?" It was Harry.

"Yes. You left it last night at my place." I said trying to sound casual.

"Oh.." His voice got a bit nervous.

"Don't worry, I did't read your messages, or e-mails. However, I did answer it this one time. I was in class and my teacher told me to get it." I said, waiting for Harry's reaction.

"Who was it?" He asked, a little unsure.

"Taylor" I said, quietly. I didn't want to say it, but it would be rude of me if I didn't "She said you should call her later. That was after she texted you gazillion times." I said.

"Well…where are you now?" He asked uncomfortable about the whole situation.

"On my way to work. I got a job at this book store. It's near my school. It's big and has a big sign. You can come and claim your phone there." I said, giving him detailed instructions.

I arrived at the book store and hung up on Harry. I felt a little better that I told him, but I still felt bad.

"Hey. I am Althea. You must be Jen?" The blond girl approached me. She sweetly smiled at me.

"Yeah. I am ready for my training" I said, and stood still.

"Well you can leave your bag in the lockers in the back room, come, I'll show you" She said. Althea leaded the way, and I followed her. The room wasn't that small as I imagined it would be. I put my bag in one of the lockers.

"Ok. Well you need to wear this sweater with the logo of the book store, kind of like a uniform." She said, handing me a navy blue sweater. I put it on quickly and walked out from the room.

The next thirty minutes she gave me a tour around the big space, telling me where each section is. It didn't seem that hard of a job. We had like 70% discount on any book we want to buy. We could also read books here, if there aren't any costumers.

"I think you're all set" She finally said.

"Are you going now? Please don't leave me alone…" I pleaded laughing. She laughed as well.

"No, no. I work both shifts this months. I need the money. Besides, Lucas will be here in few minutes." She said.

"Oh ok. Who's Lucas?" I asked, curious.

"He works here as well." She said, as she walked and put books in their proper places. I walked behind her, helping carrying the books.

"Ok, well, you can go to the horror section to set these as your first assignment. Better now, rather when this place is packed with costumers." She said, leaving me, and walking towards the cashier. I carried the books towards the Horror section and carefully placed them in their rightful place. There were few more books when I heard Althea call for me.

"Jen, you have a visitor!" She said. I arranged the last two books, and went over at the cashier.

"Hello beautiful" Harry's raspy voice greeted me. I forced a smile, as the thought of Taylor occupied my mind.

"Hey" I said casually.

Althea watched in amusement as Harry pushed a lock of hair behind my ear. I stood mesmerized by the different shade of green in Harry's eyes.

"Oh right, your phone." I remembered walking to the back door, signalizing him to follow.

When he entered the back room after me, he closed the door and pulled me in for a kiss. It was unexpected. My hands instinctively wrapped around his neck, one hand entering his curly hair and slightly pulling it. A quiet groan left his mouth, without parting our lips. I giggled, when his phone beeped again. It reminded me of the situation, pushing me back to reality. I pulled away from his tight grip around my waist, and walked to my locker.

As I was looking in my bag for his phone, his strong arms wrapped them self around my waist, my back firmly pressed against his chest. I gigglde again, and finally found his phone.

"Here you go." I handed him it. When he got it in his hands he was a little surprised.

"You didn't read the messages from Taylor?" He asked confused.

"I would never invade your privacy Harry. I am not jealous of the whole Taylor situation, so I have no reason to read your messages." I answered. Lies. I wanted to read everything so badly, I could barely keep myself in check. But the way he smiled after I said it, it was like I made his day. How could I resist. So, I wrapped my hands around his neck again, and dived into his neck. I started kissing his jaw line, making him groan. My grip in his hair became tighter. In what seemed like nano seconds, he lifted me, my legs wrapping around his waist, pushing my back to the wall.

Our chests were pressed against each other, I could feel his heart beet. My stomach started to tingle so I started to giggle. Harry took that opportunity to leave a wet line on my neck with his tongue. Slightly blowing on it, goose bumps appeared on my skin. He smiled, and kissed it. First were innocent little kisses on my neck, but he started to suck at one particular place making little moans fall our of my lips. And after each one of them, he smiled, then changed the place, leaving little love bites.

"Harry" His name left my mouth.

"Shhh" He shushed me, and continued.

"Baby, I need to work" I said, giggling.

"Few more minutes" He said, his kisses on my lips now. Few short ones. After, I kisses his soft cheeks, making him smiles, the two little dimples showing.

"I have to go." I said, untangling my legs from his waist, reaching for the floor. He let me down, but didn't bother to move from the spatial proximity that was really small.

"I'll see you tonight?" He asked.

"If you don't have another date with Taylor…I guess" I said, smiling, even though I really didn't feel like smiling.

"I'll call you." He said, after leaving another kiss on my lips, before he exited the room. I stood a few minutes inside, gathering my thoughts, and when I got out, Althea was looking really mischievous at me.

"What?" I asked, smiling.

"Took you a looooong time to find that phone" She said, teasing me. I blushed and smiled.

"Nothing is going on." I said, remembering that me and Harry aren't really public right now.

"Mmmm, ok, If you say so." She said, still having that smile on her face. I blushed some more.

She teased me few more times, when someone walked in. It was a boy, I'm guessing Lucas. When he walked in, Althea bowed her head, looking at her feet.

"Hey Thea." He greeted her.

"Oh, hey Lucas." She said, acting as if she didn't see him come in. "This is Jenna. She works here too."

"Ah, new girl?" He said, smirking at me. I nodded and smiled. "Well, I'm Lucas, and it is a pleasure to meet you." He said, and leaving us, as he walked to the back room.

"What was that?" I asked her, laughing.

"What?" She asked confused

"Do you like him?" I asked curious. He had dark hair and blue eyes. And he was very attractive, I wouldn't be surprised if she did.

"You keep my secret, I keep yours." She said, referring to Harry. I blushed and laughed.

"Deal." She smiled and exhaled with ease.

Few short minutes after, Lucas came back, and I excused myself saying that I have to stock some books, which was a lie, but whatever.

Work ended at 7:30. I though working in a book store would be relaxing. I was so exhausted, while I changed into my clothes. My phone rang, the number was blocked, but I answered anyway.

"Hello?" I answered.

"Is this Jenna?" A voice asked. I didn't recognized it, and got a little scared.

"Who is this?" I asked walking towards the cashier where Althea noticed my worried look.

"Stay away from Harry bitch. You guys are over, and you should get over it." The voice angrily stated, before hanging up. I lowered my phone from my ear, still a bit shocked.

"You ok?" Lucas asked.

"Y-Yeah, yeah. I'm fine" I said quietly. My phone rang again, startling me, causing a slight jump in my legs. But it was Leena.

"Hey Leena" I answered relived.

"Um, when are you coming home?" She asked.

"My shift ended, I'll be there in 10" I answered, and hung up.

"See you tomorrow, Jen" Althea said. Lucas just waved and I smiled at them. They were both so nice to me, and there was obvious chemistry between them.

I was out of the store in few seconds, when my phone rang yet again making me jump.

"Hey Harry" I answered unsure.

"You done with work?" He asked me, concern in his voice.

"Yeah, you ok?" I asked, taking notice in the tone of his voice.

"I'll be there in 2 minutes." He said.

"You don't have to pick me up. I can walk home" I laughed, but he didn't.

"No! I'll take you home, just stay put for two minutes." His raspy voice echoed through the phone.

"Are you sure you're ok Harry?" I asked again, starting to get worried.

"I'm fine. I just want to take you home." He stated.

"Ok, I'll be just around the corner of the book store." I said and then we hung up.

The cold wind was blowing, carrying my dark hair in it. My cheeks turning red because of the cold. My hands in the pockets of my coat, so they could shield from the chilly air. My head bowed, eyes focused on my feet. When suddenly I felt someone grab me from behind. Strong arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me back. But it was different. The touch wasn't gentle, it was rough. Before I could react, a hand covered my mouth, and like that I was carried into an unknown vehicle. My legs swinging back and forth, struggling to get away from the tight grip, but I was unsuccessful, being practically thrown in the back seat. My head hitting something metal, as I fell inside. I tried getting up put the pain that inflicted my head was to heavy, so I passed out, lying helpless in the back of the car.

Harry's POV

I hung up and speed up, trying to get to Jen as fast as possible. But the street lights were against me, making me wait. I had to get to her quickly. I impatiently taped my fingers on the wheel as I waited for the green light. After a minute, that actually felt like hours, I was able to drive on. I stopped around the corner of the book store. She wasn't there. My heart beat increased as I started to panic. I drove by the store where I saw two figures, a male and a female. Hoping that the female is Jen, I got out of the car. She recognized me and before I could ask she answered my question.

"You just missed her. She left a few minutes ago. But she couldn't have gotten far." She smiled. Her smile didn't comfort me.

"Where did she go?" I asked, waiting for her answer. I was really tensed.

"Um…that way…is everything ok?" She asked. I didn't have time to explain to her what was going on.

"Just…perfect" I said, getting back to my car upset. My hands were in my hair pulling it, trying to figure out my next move.
