Chapter 5- old enemies part 2
Liam's POV
We decided to go to the diner in town that night. We got the really big table and we all sat down and waited to be served. "Man I remember coming down here and getting WAISTED." All the boys laughed at what Niall said. Except me, naughty boys, our kids are too young to know what waisted is.
"what's waisted?" Mia (Niall's oldest daughter) asked.
"um kids, waisted is when you ah, have a hankering for ice cream." Louis said and all the adults snickered.
"I want to get waisted!" Darcy said
"yeah me too!" My daughter Hannah said.
"I want to get waisted all the time!" Cassidy said
"I want to get chocolate waisted" Georgia (Niall's youngest daughter) said.
"no sweety you don't need to get waisted." Danielle said.
"hi there everyone I'll be your waitress what can I get for you?" Our waitress came up and asked.
"I'll make this easy um 18 hamburgers and French fries. That'll be just for me, what do you all want?" Niall said making everyone laugh. "I'm just kidding what do you all want to drink" Niall said flashing a famous grin. We all said what we want to drink then everyone started talking again. Then Louis got up to use the restroom.
Louis' POV
I was on my way to the restroom when suddenly a familiar voice spoke while I passed the kitchen.
"long time since you've been around these here parks Tomlinson." I turned around to look straight at my oldest enemies eyes. Tom from The Wanted.
"hey Tom it's been a while. How are you?" I said grinning I figured I may as well be friendly not like I ever see them often.
"I'm fine. Remember that battle of the bands competition? When we were both really famous" Tom asked.
"how could I forget? The one we won, why do you ask?" I asked him eyeing him suspiciously.
"I'm just saying that the competition was very unfair considering the circumstances" Tom said casually wiping down some dishes.
"what do you mean 'the circumstances'" I asked
"well clearly the hole competition was rigged in your favour." Tom said
"hey, hey it's not considered rigged when more of Britain were fans of One Direction than you guys." I said.
"oh yeah well why don't you prove that your big mouth is right. How about a rematch?" Tom asked smirking.
"no thanks were just here to relax" I said trying to turn around
"what are you chicken?" Tom asked "come on how about a rematch?" Tom said speaking into a microphone. Probably originally intended for calling out orders. But not in this case. "The Wanted versus One Direction at the benefit concert next weekend" Tom said again into the microphone. Wow he's really annoying. The entire restaurant was frozen waiting for my response.
"it's on!" I said shaking Tom's hand.
it was official, The Wanted and One Direction are reuniting for a battle of the bands competition.
