One Direction Grown Ups
Chapter 6- Explanation
A/N so I figured I should make this so then you guys aren't confused about the whole wanted/ One Direction battle thing.
7 years ago (just before One Direction broke up).
Harry's POV
managment thought it would be a good publicity stunt. But I think it's just plain stupid. The Wanted broke up a year ago but they are making an exception so then they can finally get a chance at beating us. It was going to be televised and all of the UK was going to have a chance to vote on who they thought was best. And let me just say. I was so nervous I felt nauseous. I didn't want to mess up my solo. And I knew that the rest of the lads felt the same way. We went into a circle for our pre show ritual. The Wanted just finished and the host started saying if the people at home liked The Wanted then at the end of the show call or text to vote for The Wanted. Next One Direction. We all took a deep breath and walked out to do the performance of our lives. We walked out to blinding lights and deafening screams. The band began the music. And we started to sing. My solo was first.
"Maybe it's the way she walked!" I sang. We decided to sing Best Song Ever because we made the single just before our movie. And 2013 was such an amazing year for us. We figured if this was our last performance as a band, we should sing a song from one of our greatest years ever.
we finished the performance and we tweeted. 'Vote for 1D if you live in the UK or Ireland #1DvsTheWanted'.

*narrator POV
"after nearly 300 million votes in one hour, we have the results of the battle of the bands competition." Ryan Seacrest said holding the envelope in his hand. One Direction and the wanted stood on either side of him. He turned to Louis, then Tom grabbed either of their arms and said. "And the winner is..... By nearly 100 million votes, is...... One Direction!!!!!!!!" The boys jumped and hugged each other as confeti went off going everywhere and into the crowd. The crowd was going mad.
it was official, One Direction has won against The Wanted.
