One Direction Grown Ups
Chapter 4- old enemies part one
Niall's POV
i wake up and turned to see that I'm the only one still in bed. Danielle must already be up. I got up and put on a pair of shorts and a shirt. I shuffled downstairs craving the coffee that will wake me up. I walked down into the kitchen and saw my beautiful wife. Her blonde hair in a messy ponytail. She had on blue capri pyjamas and a black shirt. She turned around with a cup of coffee in her hand. "Morning darling, sleep well?" I asked going and getting myself some coffee.
"I did until you woke me up talking in your sleep." Danielle said poking my side.
"hey! It's never been a problem before" I said wanting to tazer her. But I decided against it because then she would tazer me back and cause me to drop my cup of coffee. we sat down at the table while Casey and Harry came down. They started up a bit of breakfast that Danielle gladly helped with while Harry and I sat down. Soon Dani and Liam were down and Dani joined in with making breakfast. Perrie and Zayn came down along with Eleanor and Louis. All of the adults were up and having a good laugh. The women were making breakfast and us men were pathetically trying to help and eventually giving up and just sitting down reading the newspaper. The front cover was about Simons funeral and how he will be remembered. I skipped that to some of the happier news. But then again, the news generally isn't all that cheery.
breakfast was almost ready when we heard screaming upstairs. Not frightened screaming but the screaming you get when kids are playing. "Kids must be up" Louis said clearly not excited. Darcy and Emma came down first. Looked in the fridge and pantry then went back upstairs. We heard giggling and whispering coming from the upper hallway.
"wonder what they're doing." Harry said looking up at the stairway.
"whatever it is, it doesn't sound good" Liam said drinking coffee.
"breakfast is ready" Dani yelled loud enough for the kids to hear bringing plates out. they all raced downstairs. But something just didn't look right. They were all looking down... At their phones or iPads.
"kids why are you all on your phones or computers?" Louis asked
"because we're not from the Stone Age" Emma said, and all the kids laughed.
"fine but after breakfast your all going outside" Louis said causing all the kids to laugh again.
Louis' POV
after breakfast the kids started playing video games while the boys and I were outside checking out the lake. We could hear gun shots from the game and it was driving me crazy. "Why are they staying inside like hermits? It's beautiful outside and all they are doing are playing video games." I said, after only a couple more seconds I snapped. "That's it" I got up from my chair and raced inside. I got into the living room and found Jacob and Emma and grabbed them.
"hey!!"
"dad!!!"
"put me down!!" They kicked and yelled while I brought them outside.
"From now on, no phones, no video games no nothing."
"but then what are we supposed to do for the rest of this weekend?" Emma asked.
"play outside like normal kids" I said. They both looked incredibly annoyed. Mission accomplished. While I was talking with my kids The other boys got their kids and we all looked at each other. What are we doing now?
"I've got an idea! Come on!" Harry said. We all followed him in the forest.
"so.... What are we doing here?" Cassidy asked
"yeah this is lame!" Andy said.
"listen kids we can make a fort!" I tried
"with what!?" Emma asked
"here help me out here guys!" I said grabbing some giant branches. I looked up and my eyes lit up. "Oh my gosh! No way!!!" I yelled
"what!?" The kids yelled
"wow I haven't seen one of these in years!!" I said
"what are we supposed to do with one of those?"Andy asked
"what? You guys see a rope and a lake and that doesn't make you want to go crazy?" I ask
"I can't contain myself here move" Harry said grabbing the rope.
"Climb on the rocks you'll get a bet launch!" Niall said. Harry climbed up and jumped off the rock.
"CANNON BALL!!!!!!!!!!" He screamed
"let go now. Let go now!" The kids screamed
"TOO HIGH. AHHHHHHHHHHHHH" Harry screamed as he swooshed over the lake and back. Thud. Smashed into a tree.
"dad are you okay?" Darcy yelled
"yeah I'm fine." Harry said swaying a bit. "Does anybody else see stars?" Harry asked
"come on big guy lets get you inside". Liam said, he and Zayn helped Harry back to the cabin with everyone else following behind.
