I stop the car in the parking lot of the hospital. *cough cough cough* it just keeps getting worse and worse. I walk into the hospital and sign in. "Hey Ms.Breeze. How you doing today." "I'm doing okay. How's the baby doing?" "Oh you know eat, sleep, bathroom and cry. Same old same old." "Aw how cute. Give her a kiss for me?" "Sure thing. And Dr. Pierce would like to have a word with you before you start your chemo." I nod and start walking to his office. On my way there so many nurses and doctors were saying hello to me. I really must be famous at this hospital. But I makes sense , I been coming here almost everyday for that past couple of months.
I open the door to his office and see him examing some X-rays. I knock on the door so he'll know I'm there.
"Oh hi Ms. Breeze , I have some information to disuss with you. Would you like a seat?" I take the seat across from him. "Okay. As you may see the Chemo we have you taking Is not showing any progress, so I'm putting you on a stronger type of chemo. And if we see a good enough increase with the slowing of the cancer cells. You'll have a better percentage with the surgery coming out good." I had to smile. I get up about to leave When he says, "but there is a chance this chemo may not work. As I say, let's cross that bridge it gets there." "Thank you doc. I wouldn't be standing here if it wasn't for you. You have been very good to me." "Norah, If I may. You always have a smile on you face. Your my favorite patient. You probably didn't realize but you taught me alot and thank you." I went a hugged him. I just needed a hug. I didn't care who it was from I just needed to be held. I let go and can't look at him. "I'm sorry doctor I just needed a hug." "Ms. Breeze it's fine. Everybody needs be held now and then. Especially a strong woman like you." I blushed at the last part. "Time for my chemo. See you later?" "Most certainly"
I walk down the hall to the chemo room. It was actually pretty full. I saw kids, adults and a few who look around my age. I took my seat by this woman who looked pretty young. "Hi I'm Norah what's yours?" I held out my hand for her to take and she did. "Mya. What you in here for?" I didn't want to say it because EVERYTIME I do I get this weird feeling that comes over me. "Lu- lun- lung cancer. Wbu?" "Breast there gonna preform the procedure in a week or so." Do you mind me asking how old you are?" She looked down. "Only 22. I've had this for about a year now. Wbu?" "I'm 19. I had this for a couple months." "Why are we getting this? We're so young. We haven't even lived. My daughter needs me I can't leave her!" "What's your little girls name?" "Makayla. She's 3 now. She's my sunshine. I come here every other day just for I could be healthy for that little girl." Her face brighten when she talked about her. "She seems like a sweetheart. You know I also come here every other day." "Cool. Now I don't have to be here alone." The nurse came in with my chemotherapy. I have her my arm and she stuck the needle in. Shit! That pain never gets old. Me and her talk for hours. About life, her daughter everything you can think. She a really good person.
Myas chemo is done so she's getting ready to leave. A little girl barges into a room with a older man. This must be Makayla. "Hi mummy! I miss you much! You feel better?" Mya looked like she one the lottery when that little girl enter the room. "Aw I missed my stinka too! And yes mommys feeling alot better." I could see that was a lie. "Oh Makayla I would like you too meet Norah mommys new friend. Say hi." "Hi mummy's new friend I'm Makayla but you can call me Kayla if you like." "It's nice to meet you Makayla." "And this is my fiancé Derek." Wow finance ? She has it good. "Hi I'm Norah. You have a great soon to be wife." "Yeah I know. She's my queens and this little girl is my princess" the 3 of them just looked like the perfect family. I admire them. "We'll I Better get going see you later?" "Yeah see you later. And bye Kayla."
~Four hours later
Finally I'm done. I get up to get ready to leave and I feel weak. Very weak. I always been weak after chemo but not like this. I make my way to the main room. I sign out and turn and see my doctor. "U'm doc? Sorry to disturb you but am I by any chance gonna lose my hair?" "I doubt it. If you haven't lost it yet, your probably not going to. Have a good night." I lefted the hostpital and into my car.
I was omw home when I remember I had to get the toilet tissue. I make a u turn and head to cvs. I feel someone watching me . Damn paps! I speed walk to the car because I didn't have any makeup on so the girls on twitter will eat me alive! I get home and open the door where I find 5 boys. 1 that actually caught my eye. He walk up to me. "I've missed you so much. Can we talk in private love?" "I miss you too harry and yes we can. Lets go upstairs to my room." We walk to the stairs. "Hi Zayn. Oh and boys I got 3 Doritos in the cvs bags. Nials eyes got big and he ran to the bags. "Enjoy..!"
i get up to my room and close the door. I lean on it. "So harry.. What did you want to tal-" he kissed me so passionately. I didn't want to let go so I didn't it. I felt the sparks the people talk about in the movies. Even though I known him for a few days... I love him. In love actually. Harry broke the kiss. Both of us panting like we just finished running. We look into each others eyes until he whispers in my ear. "That's what I wanted to talk about."
