Liam and I sat around in anticipation for Niall to wake up so I could tell him. As Niall started to wake up, I prepared myself for what I hoped to avoid for the rest of my life.
He sat up slowly, "Where am I?"
I went over to him and held his hand, "You're still in the hospital Niall. You had a panic attack and so I had to sedate you to calm you down."
He nodded.
There was an awkward silence before Niall said, "Who are you? Every time you touch me it sends chills through my body and you sound just like..."
His hands went up to my face and he started tracing my facial features. He outlined my whole body before he started to cry.
He choked out, "Hadley?"
"Yes, Nialler?" I replied.
He jumped down from the table and wrapped his arms around me. He lifted me off the ground and held me tight to his chest with my legs wrapped around his waist like a small child. I tried to swallow the lump in my throat but with each attempt, it only made my tears spill out into Niall's shirt. Any attempt I made to pull away, Niall held me tighter. I soon found his lips moving with mine as we tried to make up for the year we lost.
Liam said "I'll go get Ella and we can go and discuss things elsewhere."
I mouthed thank you before watching Liam leave.
I gently said, "Ni, you can let go now."
He shook his head and said like a small child would, "I can't lose you again."
It broke my heart. I seriously wanted to die as soon as those words left his mouth. I am so stupid. Niall is the last person who deserves all the pain I put him through. He is as innocent and as sweet as a child. I am not sure I deserve a second chance but I guess I'll leave it up to Niall. I don't think I'll be going anywhere soon since Niall won't let me go for anything. Liam came back in with Ella and I had to smile at the scene.
Liam looked so natural holding her. She started cooing at Liam and his eyes lit up.
Niall said "What is that noise?"
I told him I would explain later.
