My Love Apocalypse
Chapter 3
Alyssa's P.O.V.
Madi was driving extremely fast, trying to get as far away from that house as she could. She was crying softly and I kind of was too. The car was low on gas and just as I was about to tell Madi, it broke down. We slowly curved to the side of the road and it just stopped.
"No! Not right now!" Madi yelled. She was upset and I kind of was too. We hopped out of the car and grabbed the guns from the backseat.
We were parked in front of a woods so we began to hike through it. I was half running, half walking. I was carrying a pistol and then a longer gun that was for hunting. Madi was carrying a big bag of guns, and weapons.
"Where are we going to go?" I asked Madi.
She shrugged and replied "We could build a little fort or something for shelter." I nodded and continued walking.
We walked about 2 miles before I became tired. I was standing in the middle of a flat and open space. "We could use this to build the fort." I offered.
We started collecting wood (branches) and somehow found rope lying around. Someone else must be here already. I took a piece of it and handed it to Madi.
We took some branches and tied it to different trees using the rope. It was okay, but if it rained, there would be some spots where rain would come through.
"Madi, do you want to go walk around and get used to the space?" I asked. She nodded her head yes and we walked east of the fort.
After about 1 mile, I was about to turn around when I heard talking. Madi and I weren't talking, so someone WAS here. We walked a little bit more until we saw a small bonfire and a fort set up.
There was 5 boys surrounding it, and they looked familiar. Wait....it was One Direction! "Madi, isn't that One Direction?" I whispered excitedly.
Madi looked closely and responded "Yeah it is! Let's go see if we can help them or they can help us."
Madi led me closer to the boys and I started to get really nervous. What would their first impression of me be? My hair was a mess, I had some dirt on my pants, and a little bit of blood on my shirt and face.
"Hi." Madi managed to say as we were standing next to the lads. They looked up at us and Zayn walked over to me.
"Hi, I'm Zayn." Zayn introduced himself politely with a charming smile.
I was about to die, my idol and crush was talking to me. "Hi!" I exclaimed..
"Here let me wipe that off." Zayn said pointing at the blood on my face. He grabbed a rag and softly rubbed it off.
Madi's P.O.V.
Niall invited me to sit next to him and I accepted. He was so sweet and kind. "What are you guys doing?" He asked me with his beautiful Irish accent.
"Some zombies invaded my house and we had to run." I announced. He nodded and continued talking to me. This was the worst and best day ever. My parents are now zombies, I will have to kill them. Sadly. But I think I met my love.
