Madi P.O.V

I was in utter shock. I ran to the kitchen to see my dad under the table. "Dad get up, don't be a baby!" I yelled.

I ran upstairs to get Alyssa. I roughly shook her. She opened her eyes "What?" She asked.

"Come downstairs, you need to see this!" She followed me downstairs. I turned my head to the living room. No one was in there. We ran to the kitchen.

"Daddy!" I yelled. The zombie's were tearing his flesh off. I thought I was about to throw up, but apparently Alyssa already volunteered to do that. She ran up the stairs and darted for the bathroom. I followed her up the stairs. She closed the bathroom door with me on the other side leaving me on the outside. I heard footsteps coming up the stairs.

"Alyssa, get out of there!" I yelled.

"A few more minutes." She replied.

"No you need to come out now, the zombies are coming up the stairs." I screamed to her.

"Ok, Ok!" Alyssa said.

She got out and we went to the guest bedroom. I looked around to find anything to hurt the zombies with. Then I saw a window, the emergency window. I told Alyssa "Come on, this way."

I unlatched the window and hopped out. Alyssa did the same. We went to the backyard and I saw the shed. I thought:

Of course! Why didn't I think of this sooner. There was a shed in the backyard full of guns that my dad used to hunt with.

I took Alyssa's hand and we ran to the shed. We took all of the guns that were in the shed.

"Do you know how to work these?" Alyssa asked.

I nodded and replied "Yeah, I've been hunting with my dad since I was little."

I showed Alyssa how to shoot and she quickly got the hang of it. Out of nowhere, the zombies started to invade the backyard.

We ran to my mom's car, whenever she forgot the keys, she would keep a spar key under the car just in case.

I turned it on, went on a high speed, and quickly drove away. There were zombies everywhere....
