The next morning

Niall's p.o.v

All I can think of was Zayn, and if he was ok. I'm just worried about his about him, but no one is concerned about his appearance, he's just wasting away.



"NAILL"

I jump out of bed from the loud noise, I heard my name called again and I open the door and there was Louis with a big smile on his face. I gave him a serious facial expression.

"Yes Louis.? I said in a harsh voice

He frowns, "what's wrong with you?"

"Nothing, what's wrong." I say As I turn back into my room putting my shirt on.



"Good morning boys." a raspy voice says.

I Turn around to see Zayn. He looks so... dead looking and it looked like he was crying all night. My heart ache to see him like this.

"Good morning Zayn." Louis says in high voice.

Zayn chuckles at Louis, and they start talking about the concert tonight.

I interrupted them to ask Zayn a question.

"You ok?"

"Yea I'm fine Niall," he look at his watch, "oh crap I got to go"

"Go where?" louis ask with a confused face

"I.. I got to get a haircut." He says than gave us a weak smile.

"Ok cool... will we see you later night?" Louis ask.

"Yea of course," then he walks away. Something was up, but I couldn't put my finger on it.

Zayn's p.o.v

I finally reach to the cancer center. I felt nervous. I open the door and walk in. The cool breeze went down my spine. I went to the receptionist and told her why I was there, she told me to sit until I was called.

I look around the waiting room, the atmosphere in the room seem to be cold and dark. It was just depressing sitting here. I close my eyes and just picture me and Perrie, she always bought a smile to my face. Oh how I wish she was here with me, telling me everything would be ok.

"Mr.Malik." I open my eyes to see a young lady in front of me.

"Hello I'm Dr.Walker, why don't you come with me."

It was about 30 minutes into the appointment, she told me all the ways this could be treated and what's best for me. All the thoughts were running through my head, how was my family and friends going to deal with this and most importantly, how was I going to deal with this.

"Zayn first you need to do surgery to see if we can remove the tumor, is that ok?" She looks at me.

"Yea." I nervously answer

She then explained the whole process to me. She kept going on and on. All I wanted her to do is shut up and let me think this through. Everything was moving too fast for me.



"Zayn; sweetie you ok?" She said in a sweet voice.

I Look at her with tears in my eyes

"I'm scared, s-say I die in the process." The tear started to roll down my face I put my head down in shame like it was all my fault. "I can't die doc I just can't." The doctor looks at me and I can feel her warm hands hold mines.

"It's ok. If you do, all that I tell you, you'll be fine." She walks over and hugs me."Trust me, I'm here to help you." I felt at ease when I was hugging her,she releases the hug and sits next to me, "did you tell your family members?"

"I didn't tell anybody."

"Well I think you need to do that, so they can support you. Your going to need all support you can get."

"I will when I get back." I smile

"Good, why don't we schedule the surgery for you, and don't forget the longer you wait the more chances the cancer could spread. It's good you came in when you did. We caught that sucker. I'm going to give you some pill make sure you take them every day, ok Zayn." I nod my head.

"Yea." I said in a confident voice. She hands me a paper of all the information."Thank you" I said.

"No problem, make sure you take those pill ok?"

"Yea doc," I got up and walk out the room with a hopes I that I'll fight this...





Later on that day. I walk in the concert hall where Louis, Harry, Niall, and Liam were.

"HEY!" Louis yelled out.

The rest of them turn around. "Where the hell where you?" Harry asks.

"Just went to pick something up."

Then Niall interrupted "Weren't you going to get a haircut?" I look at Niall with a surprise look.

"Oh yea!" Louis says

"I Changed my mind." I then join the boys and practice for the concert.

2 Hours later

I walk in the dressing room where Harry and Niall was getting their hair done, Louis and Liam were getting dressed. I felt so weak and dizzy but I had to fight through the pain, but I promise myself I was going to tell them.

I than grab my clothes from the rack, and started to undress.

"Oh my gosh." I turn around

"What?"

They were all looking at me "You look pretty skinny there." Louis burst out.

"So what... I... I can't help it!"

They all look at with confused faces. I got so irritated, and drop the clothes to the floor."I'm out of here"

"Zayn wait." Harry drag me back into the room "Come man, just tell us what's going on."

Than all the boys stood behind Harry. I think this was my chance to tell them about my stomach cancer.

"I-I." I couldn't slip the words out. My head was telling my to keep my mouth shut but my heart was saying to tell them, but instead I say "I'm just stress... Ok. I miss Perrie."

I wonder if they were going to buy it.

"Yea, I know how you feel." Louis says "I miss Eleanor like crazy."

"It could get a little stressful, but we got each others backs." Liam replied. "This weekend we can go-"

"Jet skiing." Niall interrupted.

"Oh that sounds fun." Harry says in excitement.

"Yea ok fine... whatever." Liam answered.

"Yea ok." I say in a disappointed voice. They all walk away except for Niall, he stood there staring at me.

"Yes Niall."

"Nothing'" he then walk away from me.

I felt like Niall knew what was going on. I look up and saw Niall still looking at me shaking his head, like I did something wrong.

"Guys you got 10 minutes until we start the show."

I quickly go back into the room and change my clothes, right now it was time to preform. I put my happy face like nothing was going wrong in life.



We all walked out the dress room and unto the stage....
