Something I'd Like to Say......
Chapter 2
I wake up with a lingering feeling of emptiness.
As I let the warm water of my shower wash over me, I think of how true Little Things is about Sky. She's so perfect when I'm broken.
She keeps me whole

Skylar's P.O.V.
I hear the door bell ring which sets off Dixie, my yellow lab. "Come in," I yell to the mystery man behind the door but as he steps into the kitchen he's no mystery man. He's my man, dressed in nice tux with a red tie.
"I thought we could go out to lunch," Liam says, pulls put dozen red roses from behind his back.
He always knows how to make me feel wanted, surprising me always.
"I've just gotta go change into something nicer." I say, refurring to the get-up I was in. I looked like I just rolled out of bed in my sweatpants, hoodie and my wavy blondish-brown hair pulled back into a messy bun.
"You always look beautiful to me," He stares right into my blue eyes with his chocolate brown ones.
I blush, kiss him lightly and then run upstairs to change.

An hour later we are seated at an amazingly fancy restaurant, the kind that have people playing the violene live and the lights down low.
"This is night," I say, looking him almost whimsiclely.
" Yes," he replies. "It is."
Just then he pulls away from the table, gets downs on one knee and pulls out the most dazzling dimound ring. Everyone in restaurant is staring now and my cheeks flush. Even the music has stopped.
" I have loved you from the first day I saw you in the coffee shop with your hair in a messy bun and paint spattered all over blouse and trousers. I love you when you think you look terrible and when your sad, I love you when you are happy and pains me to see you cry. They say absents makes the heart grow fonder but it kills me every second not being will. Skylar Jane Greenhow, will you make the happiest man alive and marry me?"
By now my makeup is running down my face in tiny black rivers. All I can do to keep from full out sobbing-and make those horrible choking sounds- is violently nod my head yes. He slips on the ring and everyone around us cheers. As he pulls me into a warm embrace I feel dizzy and lightheaded.
And happy. Extremely happy.
