Drunk Girlfriend
Liam's P.O.V
The screaming hits my ears and I cringe. Why was it that girl screams sound like a dying animal?
"Hey man, you okay?" Niall asks me.
"Yeah just tired," to prove this I yawn, not bothering to cover my mouth.
He nods and walks over to the stage. I get ready and follow suit.
As I get ready to sing me solo in Moments, I choke.
"I'm sorry," I say into the mic. "I can't do this."
Then I set it down with as much dignity as possible.
*2 Years Earlier*
Her laugh is so beautiful I think to myself.
I look into her eyes and she whispers "kiss me". As I lean in to do so Louis walks in.
"Ewww!! Liam! Skylar! Keep the PDA to a minimum!" I lean back onto my hands to face him.
"First of all Lou, we're in my room so it isn't public, second, whip that stupid smirk off your face and finally what the hell are you doing in my room with your drunk girlfriend?"
It's true. She is whipped and hanging on Louis for support.
"Liam! I haven't seen you since the last beer fest!" she says in her stupid slurred speech.
"Hello Corinne," I call back, ticked but she doesn't seem to notice in her drunken state.
Louis clears his throat and turns to Skylar and me.
"I was actually going to take her home and then go home myself but then I remembered that I left my keys here last night. Geeze, next time I'll knock."
Then he turns to leave. Drunk girlfriend and all.
"I better go too," Skylar says as gets up.
She's walking away when I catch her hand, pull her down to me and kiss her.
"Don't think that you can away that easily," I say with a smirk and she smiles back, making my breath hitch.
I let her go and she slips away slowly, leaving me there with an empty house and silent thoughts.
