Hate Breaks Us Apart
1 Day to Court
Amanda's POV:
It was the day before our court date, and Riley and I went shopping for an outfit. I hired Macrys babysitter, and then we left. "Something serious." I said browsing the racks. "I would go with something blue. I heard somewhere that blue gives you luck in court or something." Said Riley.
After a few hours, i settled on a navy blue skirt, a white blouse, and navy blue flats. We left with our bags, and were almost immediatly bombarded with paparazzi. I had completely forgotten about needing security.
"Why are you two splitting up," shot one reporter. "What will happen to your daughter?" Asked another. "Are you two divorced?" Asked a third. I was over whelmed by it all, and broke down in tears. "BACK IT UP!" Yelled Riley, pushing through the crowd.
She grabbed my arm, leading me forward. She continued to push reporters and photographers aside. There were more questions shouted at me, but I ignored all of them. "SHUT UP ALL OF YOU AND LEAVE HER ALONE!" Screamed Riley.
They were relentless, and chased us to Riley's car. "Whose your friend Amanda?" Asked one. "SHUT UP IDIOT AND BACK AWAY BEFORE I MAKE YOU! I HAVE PEPPER SPRAY AND I KNOW HOW TO USE IT!" Screamed Riley. She then turned on the car, and sped away.
"That was insane!" She exclaimed. "I know." I said, looking ive my shoulder to see them snapping pictures as we drove away. No doubt that would make an intresting headline.
Louis's POV:
It was the day before, and I was shopping with the Harry and Nial for a suit. We had been followed er by paparazzi, but luckily Paul had held them off. Nosy Jerks. They were outside the shop for awhile, but suddenly took off. Probably saw security or something.
We decided on a black suit with a navy blue tie. "Blue brings you luck." Declared Harry. I gave him a weak smile. I was nervous. Tomorrow would decide if I would ever see my daughter again.
When we bought everything and were leaving the store, I saw where the paparazzi had gone. They were surronding two people outside one of those dress stores. I looked up to see it was Amanda's favorite store.
To my shock I heard a familiar voice yelling. Was that Riley? Suddenly I saw Riley breaking through the crowd, pulling Amanda with her. She had tears streaming down her face.
My heart pounded. It had been over a month since I had seen her. She had a new hair cut. It was shorter, a little longer than her shoulders. I liked it on her. She had on her favorite leather jacket.
I missed her so much. Harry and Niall spotted her too, and Harry placed a hand on my shoulder. "Listen mate." He said, but I cut him off by pulling away, and rushing towards her.
"Lou!" Called Niall, but I followed her and the paparazzi out to Riley's car. Before I could get close, Riley screamed about pepper spray, and sped off. I had been so close to speaking to her again the paparazzi snapped photos of her driving away, and then suddenly i realized the were taking pictures of me.
Paul rushed over, and ushered me to the car. we drove off in silence. "So tomorrow. We're all going." Said Niall. I gave him a small smile. At least my boys would be there. Suddenly my phone buzzed.
"Hello?" I answered. "Um Louis?" Came Liam's voice. "Yeah." I said, concerned at the worry in his voice. "You need to get home right now. Zayns made a big mistake." He said before hanging up. My heart pounded.
