Louis's POV:

Zayn and I hadn't dont much talking. We mostly just sat, waiting for the boys to return. I wondered if Amanda would come with them. Just then, I heard them coming in the front door. I stood quickly, and my heart sank to find it was only the three of them. No Amanda or Macey.

"Im sorry Lou." Said Liam sadly, and Niall put a hand on my shoulder. I pulled at my hair. "Was she with Riley?" I asked. They nodded. "Did you talk to her?" I asked. They nodded. "What did she say?" I asked anxiously. "Er....."dragged of Niall.

"Louis. She says shes never coming back. Also, as soon as she finds a place and a job shes moving and taking Macey with her." Said Harry. My heart pounded. My wife was leaving me and taking my daughter with her!

"She can't do that! Macey is my daughter! We're a family!" I yelled, punching the wall. Zayn grabbed my shoulder, and Harry said,"Louis! We can fight for custody." I turned to face him saying," go to court?"

He nodded. I quickly thought about this. If I had partial custody, Amanda would have to let Maceysee me. I wouldn't completely lose them! "Lets do it." I declared. "We'll need a lawyer." Stated Liam.

We thought for a minute. "What about Tim?" Asked Niall, referring to our best friends dad. He was an amazing lawyer from what we had heard. I nodded, and Liam went to go fun his number. Maybe I wouldn't lose my family after all.

Amanda's POV:

We dropped Macey at my brothers house before driving to the law firm. I was nervously playing with my seatbelt as Riley drove. "It will be ok Mandy. Dan is an amazing lawyer!" Declared Riley, pulling into the parking lot.

We entered, and everyone inside seemed so serious. Finally we found ourselves in Dans office, welcomed by his familiar grin. Dan was my brothers best friend. Although he was young, he was a skilled lawyer.

We sat, and he started off by asking questions about Macey. Then he said,"So you're thinking Louis will want partial custody?" I nodded. "We'll from what you tell me of why you left, it is rare he will get it. The court also tends to side with the mother. I have a good feeling about this case." Said Dan with a grin.

We were wrapping up, when I asked,"While we're here. What do I need to do to get a divorce?" Riley sucked in her breath. Dan looked sad. He then told me there was paper work that needed to be notorized. "When you're ready, ill get a time set for you. But think about if fist." He said.

In the car, Riley was silent. She knew I was mad at Louis, but I think it had just hit her that I was serious about leaving him. I was going to do anything to protect my baby girl.

A few days after, I recieved a letter with the court date. I quickly phones Dan. After, I sunk onto the couch, running my hands through my hair. I couldn't believe I was actually going to court.

Macey toddled over to me, and I scooped her into my lap. When she looked up at me, it gave me courage. Come June 17th. I would be ready to do whatever it takes to make sure she never saw Louis again.
