Louis's POV:
By now the storm had stopped, but it was still raining slightly. I ran, leaving my car behind. I wasnt far from where I was going. Only a mile. I couldn't even feel my legs, I just kept running. I couldn't take being in that hostpital. I couldn't take the thought of losing Amanda.
I reached the park, and rushed towards the cliff. I went right to the spot where it had happened. The grass around the area was scorched black. I knelt in the middle of the area, and let out a yell. Releasing all my frustration. I yelled for awhile, then collapsed onto the ground.
Breathing heavily, I lay on the wet grass as the rain washed over me. I sobbed uncontrollably. "Louis?" Came a voice. I didnt even look up. "Louis." Said the voice sounding worried. It was Niall.
I heard him walk over. I didnt look up. I just layed on my side and cried. "Oh Louis." He said, and I could tell he was crying too. Amanda and him were best friends after all. I felt him place a hand on my shoulder.
For awhile we just stayed there crying in the rain. It felt good to let it out. I felt exhausted and weak by the time I stopped. "C'mon Lou. Lets get you home." Said Niall, getting to his feet.
"I have to go to Amanda." I murmured. "Sssh. She'll understand you need sleep. C'mon." He said.
I allowed him to pull me to my feet. "My cars over here." He said, leading me away. I glanced back at the scorched area. I turned back around. I couldn't look back at it.
When I reached my house, Niall brought me into my room. He pulled off my wet shirt, and slipped a dry one over my head. "Im gonna have you do your pants." He said, handing me dry pants and underwear. He left, and I wearily changed. He came back in, and helped me into bed. "Sleep right Boo Bear." He whispered.
I drifted right asleep, too tired. I had gone through the worst day of my life. I dreamt of Amanda. I dreamed that she was running through the woods, and I was chasing her, trying to get her to stop. She wouldn't. She just kept running and running. I tried to call out, but I had no voice. Then she just dissappeared.
I snapped awake, terrified. Did that dream mean I would lose her? I heard Niall talking in the other room, and climbed from bed, changing into clothes. When I emerged, Niall was holding his keys. "We have to get to the hostpital now!" He said.
Without questioning, I followed him out to his car. Mine was still at the hostpital. We rushed inside, an to Amanda's floor. Riley was pacing, and Harry was staring at her. Liam and Amanda's brother were discussing somethig, and Zayn was asleep in a chair holding a sleeping Macey.
I snapped a pic. Smiling weakly. The doctor, seeing I had arrived, came over. "Me Tomlinson." He said gravely. His tone frightened me. "Yeah." I gulped. "Mrs Tomlinson. The tests." He stuttered.
"What?" I practically yelled. He looked me dead in the eye and said,"the tests show that more likely than not, Amanda won't be waking up.
The room spun around me. Riley screamed, and I saw her fall to the floor in a fit of sobbing. Harry sat beside her, and pulled her to him. Rocking her in his arms, as the both sobbed. Since when did they become so close?
