Hold on Tight
Louis's POV:
I picked up my head, and frantically pressed the call nurse button. Seconds later a nurse flew though the door. "A-She opened her eyes." I managed to gasp through tears,"She spoke to me. Then she slipped back out." I said sobbing. The nurse called for the doctor, and I was ushered back into the waiting room.
I put my face in my hands and sobbed. She couldn't be dead. She couldn't, Macey needed a mom. Suddenly I heard someone exclaim,"Louis!" I looked up and saw Niall rushing over followed by the others.
I told them what had happened, and Riley started to cry. To my suprise, Harry hugged her. Those two had never gotten along but here they were hugging and crying. Niall had dropped his food. I've never seen him do that before. Zayn hugged me, and Liam stared at his feet blinking back tears.
Suddenly I heard a voice i hadn't heard in forever. Amanda's brothers. "Where is my sister!" He demanded, holding Macey. Zayn pointed to her room and said,"there. But you can't go in." The brother passed Macey to me, and headed towards her room anyway. "We'll then." Huffed Zayn.
I held Macey close to me as I cried. "Why sad daddy?" She asked. "It's your mommy baby girl. Shes not doing well." I whispered to her. She hugged me and said,"don't be sad." I gave her a weak smile, and held her close.
Soon the doctor came out, ushering Amanda's brother with him. The doctor then walked over to our group looking sad. My heart nearly stopped.
"Amanda had slipped into a coma. Her heart had stopped, but we were able to get it going again. However it is still undetermined if she will wake up." He said grimly.
I wanted to scream, and rip my hair out. This was all y fault! I couldn't take it anymore. "I can't be here." I told Niall, handing him Macey, and rushing towards the door. "LOUIS!" Called Harry, but I kept going.
I knew exactly what I needed to do
