The New Girl
Chapter Nineteen
-BRIES POV-
(1 MONTH LATER)
I have been in London for about a month now and Joey’s parents offered for me to move in with them. I was thrilled because that means more time with my best friend and less money to pay. I’m staying in the room next to Joey and we share a bathroom. I absolutely love her family but it’s a little awkward because Joey still isn’t talking to her parents unless she absolutely has to. Also, Joey and Harry still haven’t spoken a word to each other since before I got here. Niall got the nerve up and asked me out about a week after I kissed him and we have been inseparable since the first date. He took me to Nandos then went to a drive in movie. After the movie we went out for ice cream. It was the most amazing date ever.

We were walking to the ice cream truck.
“Wow, I can’t believe you eat as much as I do!” Niall told me.
“Yes, I am ALWAYS eating.” I say giggling.
“Me too!” he says as I laugh.
“So since you love to eat so much, what’s your favorite food?” I ask him. He stops dead in his tracks which makes me giggle.
“I. Have. No. Idea.” He says stopping after each word.
“Okay. Come on I have curfew remember?” I say giggling.
“Oh yeah. Look there is the ice cream truck!” He says as he grabs my hand and we run down the street.
“I’ll race you!” I say jogging next to Niall.
“You are so on!” he says but I stop him before he takes off.
“Winner buys ice cream?” I ask him with a grin.
“Yup!” He agrees and we take off. We are head to head but I beat him by a foot.
“Yeah! I win!” I say out of breath.
“Okay what do you want?”
“Um I don’t know, that one?” I pointed to an ice cream sandwich. He got two of them and we started walking back to his car.
“So what made you move to London?” Niall asked me while unwrapping his ice cream.
“I missed my best friend and my parents were being stupid. You know, the usual teenage response.” I giggle. I dip my finger into my ice cream then wipe it on his nose.
“Oooh! Food!” He says as he crosses his eyes to look at it. Since he couldn’t reach his food, he dips his finger in his ice cream and wipes it on my cheek. I giggle and wipe it off.

He had driven me home and he was walking me up my driveway.
“Thanks for taking me out tonight. I had a lot of fun. Oh and Nandos was AMAZING! We have to go there again sometime.” I say as I smile.
“Definitely. Can I ask you a question?” He asks me.
“Uh Sure.” I say.
“What would you do If I kissed you right now?” he asks and I blush.
“I don’t think I would mind.” I reply.
“Good.” He says before he puts his arms around my waist, pulling me close. When my lips touch his I feel a shock go from my spine all the way to my toes. My arms find a way around his neck as we make out in the middle of the driveway.

It was the most amazing night of my life and I will never forget it. Joey’s birthday is this weekend and the girls and I are planning Joey a surprise party. We will invite Harry because we are really working on getting Harry and Joey back together. Both of them are so depressed and it clearly shows how much they miss each other. They are just so stubborn. Joey will be sent off to shop with Zayn while the rest of us set up the party. Her parents and sisters won’t be there so it works out perfect. Its Thursday so the party will be tomorrow. I’m getting ready for school with Joey when I hear my phone buzz.

I sigh as I finish getting ready. We both decided to wear dresses today because we felt girly. Joey and I went shopping last night and we each found a dress but she wouldn't show me hers. I finish putting my makeup on and walk out of the bathroom to find Joey. She is wearing the cutest short sun dress that looks super good on her! I have a feeling Harry won’t be the only one looking for her attention today.
“Dayuuuuummmnnn bitch you look hot!” I tell her as she heads into the bathroom.
“Thanks slut!” She replies and I giggle.

Joey and I made good time to school because she sped through traffic. I stepped out of the car to be greeted by a very excited Niall.
“Wow. You look really hot today! Not that you don’t look hot everyday but you know what I mean.” He says quickly which of course makes me blush.
“Thanks babe!” I say before I kiss him on the cheek. Joey, Niall, and I make our way over to our group.
“Wow, both of you guys look great today!” Zayn said to us.
“Thanks Z!” Joey says to Zayn as they do their weird hand shake. We all laugh when they do their hip bump at the end and yell “HOO!”
“You guys are so weird.” Niall says to them as he wraps his arms around my waist from behind. Joey jumps on Zayn’s back.
“MUSH! To algebra!!!” she yells.
“Someone’s in a good mood today!” Louis says with a grin. She can usually only be herself around Zayn and I.
“Well duh! I’m turning 17 in 18 hours!” She sings.
We all laugh and follow her and Zayn into the school.
