Oh, I so happy that you FINALLY updated!!! It was a bit of a sad chapter though! But I'm soooooooooo glad shes finally going to let them in!!!!! Pleas update ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XD
@Tbam159, Thirteen Reason why—I really loved the idea ‘cause suicide is the third greatest reason (I guess) for teenagers to die today. But one thing I didn’t understand was why she sent Clay—her crush the taped. He had, in my opinion, nothing to do with her suicide. Moving on, unlike some people (No offense to whoever didn’t like the book) I believe that her reasons were absolutely valid. At first I thought that a few reasons ***SPOILER ALERT***like when Hannah blames herself for a person getting into an accident and dying (I’m not sure if he died) because she didn’t force her classmate—who was driving her home—to call the police when Jenny—her classmate—knocked over a stop sign. What happens is: This girl drives Hannah home and she knocks over a stop sign, Hannah tells her that she should call the police. But Jenny doesn’t want to get caught so she kicks Hannah out. When Hannah calls the police she finds out that the driver of a car is already dead because he missed the broken stop sign. So she blames herself for not calling earlier. After reading that I was like, Dude you really need to work on your self-esteem issues. ***END OF SPOILER*** But then I realized that when you’re really sad you blame almost everything on yourself. She was kinda finding reasons to kill herself, even if they were small details that didn’t matter.
Now Clay— he’s had a crush on Hannah since forever. Also, he had nothing to do with Hannah committing suicide but he realizes that if he’d paid more attention maybe he’d be able to help her.
So, the basically talks about thirteen reasons she killed herself. Which include—false rumors, betrayals and other stuff like that… If ya really wanna know what happens:

In short the thirteen reasons she killed herself—
(1)Justin Foley her first kiss spread rumors that she does more than just kiss.(:/)
(2)Alex Standall put her on the list as Best Ass of Freshmen class. And Bryce found it okay to slap her ass.(Grr)
(3)Jessica Davis got mad because Alex chose Hannah over her. So she, slapped Hannah leaving a scar on her forehead. (BITCH!)
(4)Tyler took inappropriate photos of Hannah while she was changing, from her window.
(5)Courtney, a girl at school, started rumors that she has kinky things in her dresser. Indirectly calling her a slut. (BACK AT YOU, WHORE!)
(6)Marcus another guy who got matched with her on Valentine’s Day, tried to make a move on her in a diner. (ENOUGH!!)
(7)Zach steals her encouragement notes (Ya know people telling her to keep faith? IDK) Also the class in which everyone laughs off Suicide.
(8)Takes petry classes and Ryan steals her poetry publishing it without her permission, and the whole class ridiculed the poem, making her feel miserable. (SHUT UP ALREADY!)
(9)Hannah is attracted to Clay because he doesn’t have a bad reputation, they end up making out, but when Hannah breaks down and tells him to leave he leaves without a word.
Later Clay realizes that if he’d really helped Hannah this wouldn’t have happened.
But I did, Hannah. And I wanted to. I could have helped you. But when I tried, you pushed me away.
I can almost hear Hannah’s voice speaking my next thought to me. “Then why didn’t you try harder?”
(10)She saw Bryce raping Jessica when Jess was unconscious.
(11)The stop sign incident.
(12)Bryce inappropriately touched Hannah in a hot tub, and she let him have sex with her, even though she hated him. (FUCK OFF)
(13)Hannah went to her counselor for help—depression. Who didn’t take her seriously, not believing she was suicidal. And told her that either she could call Bryce to talk to her or deal with it on her own. Which she did, the last person who could help her, he didn’t. (YOU’RE S’POSED TO BE A TEACHER FOR FUCK’S SAKE!)
I guess that's the point of it all. No one knows for certain how much impact they have on the lives of other people. Oftentimes, we have no clue. Yet we push it just the same.

I’m the kinda person who loves life and I think people who suicide are absolutely fucked up. But this book changed my mind. I mean I tried putting myself in Hannah’s place and it’s…well awful. Throughout the book I kept on wishing that somehow Hannah would pop out of nowhere in the end and be like—See how much y’all hurt me… blablabla. Basically I wanted her to be alive. But that obviously didn’t happen. I hated that Jay Asher described her as completely worthless. Well except for Clay who was really keen on understanding her, but that doesn’t matter because in the end she still died.
I'm not following the map because she wants me to. I'm following it because I need to understand. Whatever it takes, I need to truly understand what happened to her.
I’d give this book a rating of 4.5 stars, because I really wanted people to stop her since she changed drastically—as it was discussed n the class. She cut off her hair, and gave away her possessions.
I dunno if this completely accurate. I read it like last September or something. Anyway I'll stop now I just realized how much I've written xxx
