This sounds pretty weird considering Dakota's just a character, but which author did they meet, and what book did they get??? You probably haven't even thought about it, but still.

13 reasons why is a really touching book, it shows that even little things can build up inside of a person for a while until finally they can't take it anymore. I think its called the snowball effect in the book. I've read it a few times, and now ever moment of my life I make sure I'm a nice.person to EVERYONE that I meet, whether they're nice to me or not. Sometimes it can make.that huge difference and pull that person away from the edge. Btw I really love your story, I can't put it down :) its amazing xxx

The girl had gotten bullied and called a whore for no damn reason.
The whole book is about the girl saying what everyone did to her.
And then she went to a teacher for help.
And he said he couldn't help her if she couldn't help herself. So then she swallowed a hand full of pills.
You should read Paper towns by John Green if you haven't already
