And the name for the story...my mom is HUGE into 80's musc...apparently she's nostalgic about her teenage years so whenever we go anywhere we always have to listen to it. And Mandolin Rain is her favorite song, the lyrics are actually really good and will play into the story in a little bit! :)

I've read all the chapters now and I really love it!
You don't take things too fast, like I am so often seeing in other stories. Your way of putting things in words is really good and you managed to make me laugh at some things. And if I would ever meet a girl like Elliot in real life; I would be so happy to be her friend... Even though she's not real; I think she's so much fun.
You are a good writer if you can do such things with your readers.

Anyway; it's past midnight here and I'm gonna hit the pillow...

I'm not the writer of course, so I don't know if it's right; but Mandolin Rain is a song ( and Elliot's first name is Rain ) so I guess that's where the title comes from :)

I love this chapter. May I just ask why the title is Mandolin Rain? It's been bugging me for a while now, and my weirdness just won't let it go :p
