Literally laughed out loud during the first few sentences of this chapter. "Least she wasn't a commie..." Hilarious.I'm wondering what Jeanne was talking to her mum about, has me curious. I do enjoy the lightharted chapter, Harry's big mouth didn't get the best of him. :) Fantastic work!

Heyy, so thrilled you found it brilliant. I know my story is unconventional, so it moves me when people feel enthusiastic! I really think curiousity is a virtue but Harry is just playing with fire xD Well, I just wanted a piece of writing where the readers could feel just that, the way he is falling harder and harder. Maybe I'm doing things right ;)

Well, you know the motto already, third time's a charm... Something is going to happen next time he opens that big, beautiful mouth of his ;) I've been hinting but Harry's is not much of a Sherlock Holmes, but he'll figure it out sooner or later, and in the most surreal way, of course, because this story is pretty surreal.

Harry is doing better than before, perhaps he took in what Jeanne told him. But he's not really able to control his deepest instincts, being jealous for instance. Asking whether Jeanne is a communist was hilarious! She's so much of a free spirit, individual and creative - how would that even fit :D

Brilliant chapter! I just love how curious Harry is and how fond he is over Jeanne. It's lovely to see the guy who is besotted with the girl, you write it perfectly! Xx

Harry does have a big mouth, he's just going to end up getting hurt and frustrated with what he finds out. But he's so obsessed with her that his curious it gets the best of him. I'm interested to find out about the story secret!! And of course about the man she loved, since she didn't want to talk about him I can only conclude she loved him deeply.
