Originally, they had him in the script, but they took him out because it was so crowded as it was. Then, they had a line where someone mentioned where he was, maybe Cap asking Black Widow where he was or something, but they ended up writing that out too. Lol. As much as I love Hawkeye, it was definitely too crowded for anyone else.
And yes! May 1, 2015. :) At least in the US. April 24, 2015 is the release date in the UK.

I honestly don't know how they could've introduced him in this film. It would've been awkward I guess. But he did appear in every other film though which is quite awesome!
Do you know when is the film out?

Yeah, bits of things here and there. And I've been curious about that too! It's definitely gonna be interesting. I'm interested to hear why Hawkeye wasn't in Captain America 2. That's supposed to be explained in the next Avengers. :)
