Yeah, we use our numbers to "check out books" and "eat lunch" but I didn't even know my school had a library until March last year and school lunch is disgusting so I only use mine to check grades. As for the locker issue, we have to carry all of our stuff around until we get lockers. We're SUPPOSED to get them by the end of the second week, but apparently there was a "problem" with our locker hall so we had to wait. I seriously hope there aren't any "problems" this year.

Well, we have our student ID numbers from kindergarten, too, and we use them for lunch and such so the school takes money out of the right account. We had to start punching in our own numbers in third grade, though, so I didn't know I even HAD a number until then.
And seriously?! You don't get lockers for a month and a half?! That's bullshit! Where does all your stuff go?!

That sounds easy. We get our schedules, with room numbers, a week before school starts via mail. Then, on the first day we get maps from our homerooms assuming we know where that is. We all keep the same student ID numbers from kindergarten. And don't even get me started on lockers. We didn't get ours until 6 weeks into the school year last year, so I can't imagine what will happen this year...

Oh. Haha. Everything is all on one piece of paper that we get at registration. Which, thinking about it now, is probably going to be pretty soon. The schedule, room number, student ID number, and locker number are all on one paper. We don't get a map. :(
I'll explore at registration.

Exactly. I'm going to have to look from schedule to map to the actual room numbers. My head is going to be spinning at the end of the first day... And we have to have a locker buddy this year, and I'm sharing with my bff so I'm gonna make her memorize it for me :) And yes, yes I do...

Yep. I'm glad I start on the 21st. And I don't know where any of my classes are (I don't think), because I didn't take the freshman tour. I'm going to have to go by room number and stick my nose in my schedule all day. At least I don't have to memorize my locker combination anymore! :)
But I firmly believe that you have it worse than I do.

I'd still be thankful. I have to start on the 19th! This is why Mondays are the worst days! The worst part is that I don't know where half of my classes are and they only give tours to seventh graders! Grrr...

I lied about the day school starts here.
We start - and I kid you not - on the 21st. Of course, I just found that out today. There's practically steam coming out my ears. (Okay, so maybe not really, but you get my point) This is even worse than the 22nd!

That's awesome! I tend to trip over things more often in the dark. I'm a clumsy person :)
